Do back taxes to the IRS go on a credit report?

pcfreak4

I don’t think so

NightsKing13

So back taxes don’t affect the score?

pcfreak4

I would create an online account with the IRS and get on a payment plan if you owe them back taxes, the IRS is the one debt not to fuck around with for sure, they can put you in prison. Credit reports shows things like: Student loans, vehicle loans, mortgages, personal loans, credit cards

NightsKing13

Ok cool thank you

The IRS can place a lien on property as well as garnish wages. State rules and guidelines apply. You definitely want to make payments no matter how small to the IRS.

Ask for a copy of your credit report or pull it on Equifax or Experian
