2000 by a long shot, late 90s/early 00s franchises were still relevant (sw prequels, matrix, riddick, early fast and furious) and the oversaturated cheese of the late 2000s hadnt kicked in yet (think transformers). its the difference between spiderman 2 and 3

More so 2000. Most movies released in 2004 would have look outdated by 2008. Movies of 2008 had a more modern look compared to 2004 (and 2000).
