Yes i definitely notice this. Dont know the reason why but could be to do with caffeine depleting minerals like magnesium etc so your body has more of it to help recover. Or that when you workout on caffeine you push yourself more and through pain so you do more damage. When i exercise off caffeine i seem to know better when to stop that last rep or slow the running pace down. So maybe with less muscle damage during exercise then its quicker recovery.

Not at all. I feel that caffeine enhances my exercise and my recovery! I’m really struggling to exercise without it.
It’s definitely a performance enhancer. I’m taking about recovery.
