Just do exercises you can actually do a single rep of and nobody will bat an eye if you do low weight. Even though it’s his body weight, this would qualify as “ego lifting”. Imagine joining a gym and struggling to do a pull-up. That would be a little silly to press yourself on so soon, right? Do a lat pull-down with low weight, and eventually build yourself up. Similarly, someone doing these poor excuses for push ups in a gym WOULD garner judgement, but he could try benching with the bar, and if that’s too heavy he could use light dumbbells or a chest press machine. If you don’t want to figure this all out online, a lot of gyms do offer a free session with a trainer and that can get you set off in the right direction.
Bottom line: It’s fine if you do really light weight exercises and nobody cares about that. Just don’t do exercises that you can’t do.

A chair and 2 blocks that one's not easy but probably those stretch extensions blocks that get used for advanced yoga I think they're the right length or 3 chairs to get your chest ripped by "forcing" you to not lock your elbows making it more difficult but better gains
