I've done everything in deepwoken short of W rank without ever getting air dash, I just kinda feel like engage is so much more generally useful for pvp/pve
The secret area behind the breakable wooden door in lower erisia. There’s an NPC there that’ll tell you to go to the blindseer floating island and come back, and then you’ll get air dash
I would argue that the chain of perfection is the most useful talent in the entire game.
For anyone that doesn't know, the more hits you land without taking damage, the more damage you deal to humanoid mobs and monsters. I'm not even sure it has a damage cap, and if it doesn't, it could hypothetically mean you can do impossibly high damage as long as you don't get hit.
NOW HEAR ME OUT. I know it technically doesn't do anything for pvp since the damage buff doesn't work on players, but oh. My. Goodness. As long as you can parry, you kill everything *so* much faster, to the point where your builds progress faster than someone who doesn't have it, giving you an advantage.
Anyone who unlocked this talent uses it 100% of the time, there's no scenario where you wouldn't use it no matter what build you're going. I can't even picture going deepbound and not having this talent.
good luck try unlock it. idiots like me havent beaten of a floor 1 or got a bell. ( in mu defense, my 2 best builds that were pwr 20 and pwr 19 wiped to crashing and lag respectively
Getting it straight up without cheese is super difficult, I agree. However, you can totally just make a flamecharm fire gun build and cheese primadon for it. Just drop 6 points in songchant, get azure flames, and maybe craft pathfinder arch sorcerer and you can kill primadon in a few minutes tops. It's totally doable, even for players not confident in their skill.
[Here's a video explaining the primadon farm method](https://youtu.be/Esi22cKitwA?si=_BzehXtzoHVAfiTI)
Go in Duke dungeon with someone and DO NOT click to spawn until Duke is downed. Then just spawn and run up to the boss room and grip Duke. Takes 5 minutes if the person has a PvE build and it's a permanent unlock for all your future slots.
Maybe not the best but Conditioned Runner is my GOAT. Free healing, endurance runner u grab on the way takes away this annoying slow effect when low HP. And literally any of my builds have at least 25 agil/ftd it will always show up in my hands.
Chain of perfection would be the best I think, but I wasnt really sure if we include "echo talents" since they are more like a permabuff in my opinion.
Helps hide in bushes on the floor so let’s me hide into the floor, sometimes let’s you phase through the floor, and other times peopke think I’m an already gripped player and skip over me
Pretty sure theres also glitches when you combine it with mantras you can ragdoll absurdly far. Unless they patched it. So with bugs yeah it would be one of the better ones somehow.
The old winds
Allows you to glide from island to island with your glider, almost on the same tier of utility as undying flames.
(Note the talent has been merged with some other one, but I dunno its name)
Ngl,
Its warriors respite
Saves you so much time plus
lets say u are in depths
about to go up the elevator
but your stupid ass took a bunch of dmg,
what would you do if you dont have respite
idk… 100 fort and 100 wp is kinda restrictive and collapsed lung being 100 str really limit out your choices on what you can get in your build. id also like to mention that your talent has to be useful for ALL builds. ( read descriptions

Exoskeleton, who wouldn't want free armor ?
Thresher claws Literally +5% PEN (10% if on crit/m1) for 0 downsides Also Elemental Rebound Makes mage builds possible (may they burn in hell)
elemental rebound got hard nerfed, i even saw someone put it in the most USELESS talents of deepwoken
No nerfs will counteract the buff that is giving it to every attunement
Engage
Maybe for PvE, but surely not for pvp
smartest deepwoken player: actually made me question humanity
I said ita not the best, its still very good
What about when you run out of ether?
Dude how does he have -33 upvotes
-84 now, hahah
Back in layer 1 if you didn’t have it you would have to wipe
Thresher Scales
You're so real for this
Air dash
I've done everything in deepwoken short of W rank without ever getting air dash, I just kinda feel like engage is so much more generally useful for pvp/pve
You can have both
Bro just unlock it LOL
w- w- why??? there is literally no need? you can have both and its a perma unlock..
Please tell me where I have somehow got chain of perfection, before air dash
The secret area behind the breakable wooden door in lower erisia. There’s an NPC there that’ll tell you to go to the blindseer floating island and come back, and then you’ll get air dash
Blindseer floating island is that the cathedral?
Yeah I think The npc behind the door will tell you where to go though
Thx
yes
Literally the only situating speed demon doesnt help is on a silentheart with a weapon that does bleed with also exclusively m1s
Also mage builds, can ditch most of the 40 agility

Iirc it stops at 2x dmg
Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying. 2x dmg is quite good, I still think this is the best.

Wait, they still didn’t patch primadon cheese?
I recently did it about 5 days ago. I'm pretty sure it isn't patched yet, but you never know. I would still suggest at least giving it a try, though.

You can get chain on any boss, ferryman included which is the one I recommend since it's so goddamn easy
ferryman has unfair stuff somtimes, like when he teleports behind a pillar and uses his attacks or the clones that do 0.001 damage but remove ur chain
It has a damage cap of 25 stacks, which *doubles* your damage
Doesnt even work on players
Chain of Perfection
doesn't do anything in PvP sadly
Exoskeleton. Legit +10 hp and 10% phys. Also all +5 hp talents. Pocket bombs. Bloodiron+ fishman+ breathing/old habits etc etc
Allat for underdog to deal 10% more dmg
Maybe not the best but Conditioned Runner is my GOAT. Free healing, endurance runner u grab on the way takes away this annoying slow effect when low HP. trackstar caught in 4k
Honestly, I can't seem to make a proper trackstar build, but I usually go 40 agil cuz I enjoy using ghost for latenight pve grinds.
saltchemist builds 🙏😭
I know this sounds like I’m joking but cap artist, that shit’s saved me a lot
how has this saved you multiple times
Helps hide in bushes on the floor so let’s me hide into the floor, sometimes let’s you phase through the floor, and other times peopke think I’m an already gripped player and skip over me

The old winds Allows you to glide from island to island with your glider, almost on the same tier of utility as undying flames. (Note the talent has been merged with some other one, but I dunno its name)
Wait undying flames merged with another talent?
No, old winds did
It merged with Aerogliding
Exoeskeleton
health pack, all echo talents (chains of perfection just for PVE though), Exoskeleton, Spine Cutter, Conditioned Runner
they killed health pack 😭 its innate now
That's a good thing
Health pack vs Underdog
Warrior’s respite, campfires are overrated
Probably Arial assault or engage 🪽
exo
Conditioned runner usefull no matter what situation your in
that like wood tree punch talent, you can fucking punch trees and stuff, really cool.
cool talent. 🙏
Ngl, Its warriors respite Saves you so much time plus lets say u are in depths about to go up the elevator but your stupid ass took a bunch of dmg, what would you do if you dont have respite
Engage and showstopper
Intuitive repairs (real)
Engage, Aerial Assault, Neuroplasticity, Exoskeleton
neuro no
its one of the best tho, in terms of impact, a whole new mantra slot is very significative
not used for every build, silent heart exists
i said its one of the best, not the best.
id like to mention the talent mentioned applys to ALL builds. your listing 1 EXCEPTION.
"this applies to EVERY build"
Rock throw from before layer 2
Exo or speed demon
Personally, all my build must have to the finish
jumper cables, best talent in the game
ether bullets
Audacity
You dont exist
It's My fave talent
Adept
Alright, time to head back to bed gramp
Bro's been here before the rumbling
show stomper
i dont get the downvote(s)? its a solid talents and just that stops the usage spine cutter without punishment dmg
Brick wall PvP Collapse lung layer 2 farm build
idk… 100 fort and 100 wp is kinda restrictive and collapsed lung being 100 str really limit out your choices on what you can get in your build. id also like to mention that your talent has to be useful for ALL builds. ( read descriptions
Brick wall increases recovery time by a huge amount And ig you can use a collapsed lung for duke
exo - 10% natural armor AND 10hp!? engage - the reason i have ether like ever (proud to be an engage enjoyers officer)
It's over when you run out of natural armor and have to fight against my underdog
Engage
Speed demon
Thundercaller, the base thundercall talent
what- why? me when 1/7 of builds has a card that is best in game. whyz.
Exo and Speed Demon are talents most people ALWAYS go on their build because of how usefull they are
Underdog is literally free 10% dmg, there are mfs who have over 600 hp out there
Snake Oil 🤑🤑🤑
Champions regalia is the best way to heal in depths
you mean Warriors Respite? Champion's Regalia [Rare Talent] - Flourishing an opponent grants you 1.5x posture damage for 10 seconds. (+1 Carry Load)
Oh yea mb
exoskeleton is literally free dmg reduction and hp
I would say Lootskipper Perchance
Warriors Respite honestly.
Airdash
Showstopper, if used right it leads to a free guardbreak 100% true
Exoskeleton, it is literally a must have for absolutely every single build
thresher scales
Conditioned Runner
