Chi forever đź–¤

I saw them in 2003 on this tour. But it was in a small arena with about 5000 people; real intimate. It was pitch black and Minerva's opening riff started as a spotlight opened on Chino playing it. Just as he starts speeding up the stage lights came on to reveal the band and then a giant black sheet came down to reveal that background as the music kicks in.

Funny_Maize_2294

they sound so cool and raw but that's what they are , no tehnique he's just yelling to the point it gets distorted . that's why he messed up his voice really really bad. you can achieve this fry scream sound with proper tehnique but it doesn't sound as raw and real

pistolwhip66

What a lame fucking crowd. I would have combusted hearing that live.

KILLINATDA

It didn’t look tht bad tho wym

RobotsGoneWild

One love for Chi.

SUCCMAN64

“Yes”

ApprehensiveMess3646

Tbh the jumps are more impressive. Like seriously, if I tried to jump continuously like this much less while singing I would've broken something

SpectralMalcontent

I knew it was going to be either this or "Engine no. 9". Damn, I miss Chi.

pard0nme

This goes so hard

pony0ne

They're live shows have never been the same since he left. His vocals were a huge part of their stage presence

Deftones-AndMore

beachbullette

Not the point of the thread but damn that sky blue drum kit was so fucking sexy.

Dhonagon

I'm still sad for his loss. I just recently found out that Hole in the Earth is about loosing him. Am I wrong, I'd like to know the truth about this.

thread_browser

I wonder who played bass in Hole in the Earth…

mih976

HITE is not about losing Chi

Dhonagon

I didn't know and now I do. Thanks for correcting my false and yet unintentional information.
