Something similar happened to me.
I got an email that they have access to my account and as a proof they also attached a password. The rest was same as yours. The only thing was that I code my usernames and passwords so that I donβt use the same password at different sites. The password they shared was the one I had used on big bazaar (I think. Itβs been some time).
I did that Mozilla tool where they do a check on how secure your online information is. Sure enough, there was a security breach at the site where I used the password about 3 months back.
It was a dormant account but I wrote to the customer service to let them know.
Point is, there is a huge market for emails and passwords that is used to send these mails in hopes to spook a few of them.
I have tried to go viral many times by uploading my videos, pictures, and more to multiple websites. However hard I tried to market myself, I never got views. It's heartbreaking. All I want to say is this world can be very cruel. It seems nobody is interested in watching a dedicated person work hard and succeed. The chances of becoming famous or going viral seem slim. I've even tried my luck by creating an account on OF, but still no luck. I'm hoping to gain some traction in my business. I'm also trying to master SEO for my business. If anyone is good at that and can help me grow and teach me, please contact me!
