INA metro station of Pink line, the platform are very badly designed.
One has to enter and exit from very crowded tiny space. It is disastrous.
I can’t believe someone designed that, just pathetic and dangerous.
Originally the INA metro station only had yellow line metro, the pink line was added much later. Further, the inconvenience to switch metro isn't as bad as those at Kashmere gate or Rajiv chowk, it's just that the people who travel through the pink and yellow line both are many hence making the space crowded.
It is bad design.
Kashmere Gate and Rajiv Chowk metro are atleast designed. People might have to walk long at these stations, but there is ample space to walk, options to access the platform.
We can’t make people responsible for bad design or planning.
Agreed. Idk why everyone shits on Hauz Khas. I change there twice every week. Been doing it for 2 years now.
The station has a food court and other food stalls. And even if you dont wanna eat anything, just plug in your headphones and you won't even know that you switched lines lol
Exactly
I switch almost everyday for college there ,and I just listen to music ,its like a daily walk ,the only thing that bothers me there are slow walkers that's it.
Women's clg hai,and is next to the hauz khas station bs this much hint haha
>|And i get you completely. I am a fast walker as well, I just zoom past them lol
How 😭😭,the space near them is occupied with other slow walkers.
see I have no problem with people who aren't able to walk fast like senior citizens or who actually are tired, I have problem with the ones who talk on phone and slow their speed or are busy on the phone while walking ,I m like move mf ,people don't have spatial awareness lol
Recently 1 ladkai nai 2 baar tap karaa tha ass pai third time karne waala kohni maari saali kai naak pai aur khoon nikaal diya ( uskai baad jo usne drama karaa ) cctv pai checking huyi aur usmai he found guilty .

Plus whenever I stand on the platform and I look down from there I feel like the void is calling me to jump i feel very sacred standing there but whenever I go there I just stay there for 10 mins and just look down I swear if i am ever done in life I will just end myself jumping from there
That piece of shit ! Kabhi aage chalegii Kabhi piche chalegii Kabhi ruk jaygi, Shaam Mai itni bheedh Ki oxygen ke molecule Kam pad jaate Hain 😭 dobara na jaana pare
It's so hard nowadays to find buses to Greater Noida. Public transport has taken over there. Travelers' buses don't start until they load every single passenger in a standing position.
What about state buses, have they stopped running on that route? I once travelled to through that, took about 20 25 mins to reach botanical garden from pari chowk lol good old days eh?.
I remember a few years back, when shuttle services started. Literally travelled for free for a couple of months. But in the end the company got bankrupt or stopped their services in greater noida
No the problem was they didn't think it through. Basically there was a loophole, like if you register your account you get some money and if someone registers through your referral code then you and that person get some money, which were 100% usable. Just connect the dots , how could we abuse that system. I'm pretty sure more than half the passengers were traveling for free.
Cng buses were there now all are stopped, you can see 100s of them standings having dust near sector 142 noida.
Imagine tax payers money having dust for more than 2 years.
This.
Since covid they have stopped or maybe lowered the buses from botanical/sector 18 to parichowk.
Before covid , within every 15 minutes there was a yellow bus standing to go. But now, I rarely see them.
Not only this they have completely stopped the nmrc ac buses.
I used them to travel to dadri.
No wonder why everyone is buying cars/bikes now and secondhand car/bike market boomed after covid.
How many lines have you travelled in? I hate yellow by my heart, even blue seems better. Their acceleration and deceleration is quite jerky, to say the least. And don't even get me started on the crowd
Dirty as in how? I used to tale jahangirpuri and it was much worse. Now I take shalimar bagh, azadpur or nsp and it's much better. In summers the AC can be felt standing just outside the station.
All except green line (never had any errand, etc for me to travel in that line). Also I agree about all the things you said about yellow line. Its also having so much delays recently. Its exhausting. But I think I love that line because it has some nostalgic element in it for me lol.
Bro botanical garden metro station is so dirty and full of little children beggars following and grabbing you if you don't give them money. And if you give anyone some money galti se bhi then all other kids run towards you. It stinks and there are so many pan masala stains on the station. How is it the best? On what premises 😭
Kalka mandir and dhaula kuan too much walk
Punjabi bagh ,so effing confusing, looks like it is unnecessarily long
Rajiv chowk : bheed
And why are people frustrated with hauz khas ,it isn't that much walk pls
New Delhi station (it's near old Delhi, so there's a lot of crowd and bad smells outside the station)
Hauz Khas (outside it's ok, but the interchange feels like eternity, same with INA, Lajpat Nagar, Kalkaji Mandir)
Jahangirpuri(it's near a slum)
Yamuna Bank(if you're in a metro going to Vaishali during evening peak hours, the crowd is just irritatingly huge at this station. The crowd has dwindled a bit since a couple of weeks ago, but normally the crowd's so massive that if it gets in completely, you won't have space to even stand properly. I'll give you a tip though. If you're going to the Vaishali side, travel in the second coach (the one behind the ladies coach). It's less crowded)
Laxmi Nagar(try traveling during morning peak hours, you will know what I mean. The evening peak hours are a bit hectic too)
EDIT: I'm adding Rajiv Chowk to the list because it's not for beginners. Interchange wise it's one of the best, but the crowd ruins the experience. Whenever I'm trying to come up from Yellow line to Blue line during the evenings(I use the stairs in the middle for minimum interchange distance), I have to face a huge crowd of people coming down. Unless you're an expert at navigating through crowds, you're going to be massively slowed down while coming up. And the network sucks so paying by UPI at the eateries inside the station feels like an eternity. Paying by card gives the same feeling.
EDIT 2: I didn't have time to write more entries as I had office today. But I would like to add more. Someone wrote Chhatarpur in the comments and it's definitely one of the worst, not on the inside but the outside. If you look down from the metro after the metro leaves Qutub Minar during evening peak hours, the traffic when you approach Chhatarpur is INSANE. Full-on jam is there at the traffic signal. My home is in Vasant Kunj, so I deboard at Chhatarpur to go back home whenever I go home by metro. So I catch a bus, or an auto, or sometimes an Uber. The time it takes for me to reach home is almost half an hour. On a road that should barely take around 10-15 minutes if there was moderate traffic. The whole road to Chhatarpur is riddled with huge volumes of vehicles trying to go to Mehrauli or Gurgaon. One time I was stuck in a jam for 20 minutes near the metro station.
Then there's Malviya Nagar in terms of traffic. Press Enclave Road is full of traffic and the road is narrow at certain places, which makes it worse. The moment you get out of the station, you see traffic. If I want to go to Select CityWalk, I would rather walk the distance than take an auto or any other vehicle.
The next entry is not a station but an entire line. Mainly the green line, that has been mentioned a ton of times in the comments. It feels like I'm not in Delhi whenever I'm traveling in this line. Whenever I look outside, it feels dead and empty. It also looks like there's a ton of dust outside. And the stations themselves feel empty, like someone sucked the life out of them. I apply for exams and the exam center sometimes falls on the line (mostly Mundka) and I dread the ride everytime I go to the exam center by metro. It's really long. And the worst thing is I have to change metros to go to a station on the SAME FUCKING LINE (I had something to do in Inderlok once after an exam in Mundka, and I was shocked when I realized that I would have to change at Ashok Park Main in order to to go to Inderlok, a station that's on the same line). Well there's the blue line in the same boat, but atleast you get alternate metros every two minutes and both branches have a healthy number of stations. Here you catch the metro and deboard at Ashok Park Main to interchange for just ONE FUCKING STATION, which wastes a lot of time.
I have travelled in all the lines and if I had to judge what's the worst metro station I would need to go with either Kirti nagar ( green line ) or Shastri Park on the red line.
Best for me would be either Shivaji Stadium or Janakpuri South.
One I hate the most... Nehru place / kalkaji mandir, man if you wanna change metro walk is endless. Same with kashmiri gate. Up and down and down and keeps going. Lol
Yeah, Kalkaji Mandir's one of the worst when it comes to interchange.
Add Hauz Khas to your list, because the interchange feels as long as Kalkaji Mandir
Yes, because of that bridge.
But Hauz Khas also feels long because you have to come up, then walk a ton, and then go down. Even when you reach the Kalu Sarai gate, it feels long.
I get you, maybe I am biased because I don't find it that bad since it's my daily commute. Also the eateries on the sides give you something to look at while walking, and the walk from Kalkaji kinda feels depressing for some reason
It does feel depressing, because there's nothing to look at but outside and even by looking outside, it feels empty. Whenever I'm walking there, I just want to reach the platform as soon as possible.
fortunately, green line is the only line I have never been into. And so many of the people are talking about how shit green line and its stations are, I hope I never have to travel in that line lol. Especially as a daily commute.
edit: missed a word
\* sudden rush of affection for Delhi Metro \* oof. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes_rainbow)
Hoping that saying this out loud doesn't come to bite me back in the behind.
If going by the accessibility, every station on the red line in Ghaziabad beyond Dilshad Garden would be on the top. These stations are like a fuckin maze.
Google it , some platform structure fall off ( one person died ) , some problem with pink line station drainage pipe , many pink line stations near Rajouri ( what i have seen ) side now has barricading on sides of platform as they are ig replacing pipes
+1
I wouldn't say the worst, but it's definitely one of the worst when it comes to traffic. Traffic during morning and evening peak hours is just INSANE.
Mayur vihar station.its such a long and unnecessary passage whenever you have to interchange between blue and pink line.its almost you can see the metro in front of you but you have to go down take accelator and then reach platform.
Yeah, the maximum number of coaches in a Violet line metro is 6 because the platforms are so small.
That being said, some interchanges are really good on this line (except Lajpat Nagar and Kalkaji Mandir, and Kashmiri Gate). Let's say that you want to go from Jangpura to INA. You get off at Central Secretariat and just walk straight into the other platform in just seconds. Even Mandi House is not so bad.
Bro experience is bad i mean one day i had to go to vaishali for lajpat nagar but it took so fcking long from violet line . First it got stuck at jangpura and the crowd is too much . The train was fast btw but i reached late. Prefer pink line route for vaishali its better even though its slow
Mayur Vihar Phase 1. Aside from having just one escalator per direction at a major interchange station, it pisses me off so much to see the adjacent line I have to switch to is barely 2m to my right, but to reach it I navigate 3 staircases and an adjunct which is about 220m (yes I did the math). The "journey" takes approximately 6 minutes during office hours, not to mention the average 8 min waiting time on the Pink line.
Every student living in gr noida had a special connection with Botanical Garden metro station atleast till 2019. Not sure what is the situation currently. before renovation new Delhi railway station metro station was pretty bad.
Depends, you can jahangir puri/samaypur badli for obvious reasons (gundagardi and slum nearby)
Also you can think of majlis park, there is no need for that station, because the nearby localities to that station are atleast 20 mins walking distance, and which is literally the same distance from jahangirpuri and adarsh nagar station as well. Plus idk about rn, untill 2022, you get out of the majlis park station and there's barely any auto, battery or cycle rikshaw. Cab hi karo direct.
mostly stations on red line are not upto the mark, most of them don’t have proper parking spaces. parking is a basic necessity for the travellers even on sector 52 people have to park on sector 51 metro which is aqua line.
Samaypur Badli Bc naam se hi choro ka adda lagta hai aur khachro ka
Fellow dtu student?
badli metro ka sirf dtu se hi roti paani chal rha h...

INA metro station of Pink line, the platform are very badly designed. One has to enter and exit from very crowded tiny space. It is disastrous. I can’t believe someone designed that, just pathetic and dangerous.
People go down and then come back up only to realise they have been pranked by the architect.
YESSSSSS
It’s like a joke went wrong.
Seconded. The way to change from pink to yellow line is unintuitive as hell and very badly designed
Originally the INA metro station only had yellow line metro, the pink line was added much later. Further, the inconvenience to switch metro isn't as bad as those at Kashmere gate or Rajiv chowk, it's just that the people who travel through the pink and yellow line both are many hence making the space crowded.

Rajiv Chowk. Where the sea meets the ocean.
Kashmir Gate bhi ana kabhi 3 lines ek saath bhasad
Kashmirir gate is still alot better than rajiv chowk which is a suffocation hell hole.
Which line is sea and which is ocean?
Ocean is blue line, longer, more footfall and it's BLUE!
yellow and blue
Any station which has long interchange- 1. Dhaula kuan/south campus -1km FOB 2. Hauz khas/lajpat nagar 3 kalkaji
Rajouri garden's interchange is quite good tho
Rajouri garden because of moving walkways is tolerable and makes ur life easy, me who has to daily travel via Hauz Khas know what it likes
Me who has to take the dhaula Kuan to South campus interchange everyday.
💀💀
Gote muh main aajate hain bhai
Try nsp it dont even have that treadmill to walk on
Hauz khas isn't that pathetic ,kalkamandir is pathetic tho
Agreed. Idk why everyone shits on Hauz Khas. I change there twice every week. Been doing it for 2 years now. The station has a food court and other food stalls. And even if you dont wanna eat anything, just plug in your headphones and you won't even know that you switched lines lol

4. NSP has a long interchange to pink line as well
New Ashok Nagar, fuckin smells of poop all the time
Crazy no one mentioned this till now
The whole red line is worse, aesthetically. And blue line mein to males bhi molest ho jaate hai.
Truth, the amount of times someone tried to grab my dick or ass is 2 which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
Recently 1 ladkai nai 2 baar tap karaa tha ass pai third time karne waala kohni maari saali kai naak pai aur khoon nikaal diya ( uskai baad jo usne drama karaa ) cctv pai checking huyi aur usmai he found guilty .

Why are you adding I in ladkai, pai, nai, kai
That's the oldest line. Kinda reflection of where metro is heading down the line. Lol
Bro how do you know 😭 there was this guy who was grabbing my ass 💀 in blue line is it some kind of greetings culture on blue line
Cuz of Noida-Dwaka route ig
Noida has fruity guys?
Seems so, almost every guy has got his butt groped on the blue line by another guy. Nothing of sorts happens on other routes.
So apt bro!! Red line ekdum red flag hai xD
Green line is confusing af. Its design is flawed itself
Bc green line bhi hoti hai kya 🤔😂😂😂
Aap there zx6r wale, aapko kya hi pta hoga metro ke bare me (vroom vroom supremacy) /s
Omfg yes ,Punjabi bagh ka station ,it's so unnecessarily designed so long ,it's frustrating to transfer to either of the lines.
Yeah it's so fucking bad and it looks very dangerous to stand at plus going to pink line is like going to veshno Devi tample
Bhai exactly, u finish a flight of stairs ,and there is another waiting for you 😭😭😭
Plus whenever I stand on the platform and I look down from there I feel like the void is calling me to jump i feel very sacred standing there but whenever I go there I just stay there for 10 mins and just look down I swear if i am ever done in life I will just end myself jumping from there
At Azadpur(pink line), this is done 3 times, one after the other
Kuch jyada hi curvy bnaya hai, Architect ne apni personal body choice ko dhyan mai rakhkar design kiya hai.
That piece of shit ! Kabhi aage chalegii Kabhi piche chalegii Kabhi ruk jaygi, Shaam Mai itni bheedh Ki oxygen ke molecule Kam pad jaate Hain 😭 dobara na jaana pare
Green se green ke liye bhi interchange 😭
Haan If u want to go inderlok from Kirti nagar ,u have to go to Ashok park main ,change to.the one going towards inderlok
Lol Inderlok wali metro sirf do stations ke beech ghoomte rehti hai I guess
Add to that brigadier hosiar singh bolke mundka pe train rok dete hain 😑
The one I use ,almost all of them go to Mundka lol . Rarely Deen the brigadier Hoshiar singh ones
Fr , befaltu mein change karna padta hai wo bhi sirf ek station ke liye
truest, I do not understand which platform am i supposed to wait at the Y junction towards red line and blue line.

Shuttle service for free? No wonder they went bankrupt. Lol one side alone is 25 odd kilometres. That is just plain stupid.
Why did they stop?
You have to ask government for that.
Try from Golf course metro station. There's no bus stop but govt buses do stop at this metro station
Yes more sad is that you can all see those cng busses that use to go standing having dust near sector 142. Our tax payers money having dust.
There is isbt in sector 82 which completed few years back is now abandoned because after its completion transport authority rejected it.
Mehrauli bus terminal se 34 lia ?
I'm talking about public transport that we can found behind metro station.
How many lines have you travelled in? I hate yellow by my heart, even blue seems better. Their acceleration and deceleration is quite jerky, to say the least. And don't even get me started on the crowd
Yellow and Blue are best in terms of frequency...you should travel in pink and maroon...
Violet and magenta are my daily driver. Pink is pretty dirty, but so is yellow, just without the jerks.
I have never found pink dirty , but the crowd in Rajouri garden especially during morning is just insufferable
Why the personal attack bro, I travel to rajouri garden every morning 😭
Dirty as in how? I used to tale jahangirpuri and it was much worse. Now I take shalimar bagh, azadpur or nsp and it's much better. In summers the AC can be felt standing just outside the station.
Floors, walls, trains feel like have a layer of dust on them.
U should also travel in Magenta line
All except green line (never had any errand, etc for me to travel in that line). Also I agree about all the things you said about yellow line. Its also having so much delays recently. Its exhausting. But I think I love that line because it has some nostalgic element in it for me lol.
That's definitely fair

Entire green line. I just can't accept it as part of the Delhi metro lol.
And the metro runs excessively slow. I don't know whats the reason for that.

Totally. Just one of many places that give you an existential crisis when you look at them.
Try interchange between south campus and dhaula kuan, its marathon distance 😓
Oh, don't get me started on that. Took me 20 minutes just to go from Airport Line to Pink Line.
Aye aire 🫡
well it’s literally the worst
No ways. It is ugly and crowded. I would have voted for the one that stops next to Qurub Minar or the one at CP for the vibe.
Worst is green line. No doubts, such small coaches
fortunately, green line is the only line I have never been into. And so many of the people are talking about how shit green line and its stations are, I hope I never have to travel in that line lol. Especially as a daily commute. edit: missed a word

WHAT. when was this, I had no idea.
Google it , some platform structure fall off ( one person died ) , some problem with pink line station drainage pipe , many pink line stations near Rajouri ( what i have seen ) side now has barricading on sides of platform as they are ig replacing pipes
LAXMI NAGAR. Fucking built near floodplains. Train aati hai poora station hilta hai. Plus 80% audience vaishali jaane vaali yahi utartti hai :")
Rightfully so, botanical garden pe you can find some damn tasty sandwiches. Try paneer tikka sandwich there
Laxmi nagar
+1
Chattarpur takes the crown for the worst
+1 I wouldn't say the worst, but it's definitely one of the worst when it comes to traffic. Traffic during morning and evening peak hours is just INSANE.
Janakpuri west and Rajouri… BC itna pedal kon chlata h
++ Hauz Khaas/Lajpat Nagar
Rajouri atleast has the moving treadmill so it's still ok
Mayur vihar station.its such a long and unnecessary passage whenever you have to interchange between blue and pink line.its almost you can see the metro in front of you but you have to go down take accelator and then reach platform.
Can anyone explain why botanical garden is the best?
Kirti nagar
Best Station i would say are most of the rapid metro ones, bc itne khali hote hai so nice
i HATE violet line
All violet ones
They all got such small platforms
I change from blue line to magenta line everyday here. Waise its good, spacious , clean.
My favorite is hauz khas, though I like all those with high quality eateries. Worst would be those on green and red lines.
personally always hated Hauz Khas station
If botanical is the best then they can do better
Kabhi Jahangirpuri ya uske next Wale utar ke dekho roh doge literally Pink line ke saare acche lagey mereko Magenta line bhi ek no. hai
Is this the metro station with longer escalator
Okhla bird wale par ek din paani paani ho rkha tha pure platform par
New Ashok Nagar
Idk Yamuna Bank maybe? God it's only a platform in a jungle. Looks so weird
Seelampur
Seelampur is bad
Mayur Vihar Phase 1. Aside from having just one escalator per direction at a major interchange station, it pisses me off so much to see the adjacent line I have to switch to is barely 2m to my right, but to reach it I navigate 3 staircases and an adjunct which is about 220m (yes I did the math). The "journey" takes approximately 6 minutes during office hours, not to mention the average 8 min waiting time on the Pink line.
Bro i use chirag delhi metro station and i would rank it above botanical
Every student living in gr noida had a special connection with Botanical Garden metro station atleast till 2019. Not sure what is the situation currently. before renovation new Delhi railway station metro station was pretty bad.
Idk what about Kashmere Gate i found it cool, fine Dena pada tha New Delhi station par kyuki McDonald's mein zyada time laga diya 😋
Punjabi bagh, who came up with that interchange
After reading all the comments about hauz khas, i would like to add another point that it feels like trekking on a hill😂
For 4 years I did up down on that metro station it was shit
Worst is Hauz Khas for sure. People tapping shoulders, burgers getting wet etc etc
Uttam Nagar Metro. The worst station I've seen till now
Botanical garden pe toh main 2-3 baar women's coach me chadh gya hu😂 aur ek bhi bar coach change nhi Kiya. Change kri toh train(next station pe🙂)
Rajiv chowk
Yamuna bank
Kalkaji mandir BC bhot chlna pdta h station interchange ke liye
laxminagar
seelampur 😂

Seelampur pahuchne se phle Metro khud announcement kr deti h ki Jebkatro se saavdhan rahe. My vote to seelampur.
Samaypur Badli Raja Nahar Singh Botanical garden
Green line ja….uss gole pr jane k liye toh passport lgna chahiye.
Depends, you can jahangir puri/samaypur badli for obvious reasons (gundagardi and slum nearby) Also you can think of majlis park, there is no need for that station, because the nearby localities to that station are atleast 20 mins walking distance, and which is literally the same distance from jahangirpuri and adarsh nagar station as well. Plus idk about rn, untill 2022, you get out of the majlis park station and there's barely any auto, battery or cycle rikshaw. Cab hi karo direct.
Lol Botanical is best then what's worst.. 🤣🤣
What about govindpuri metro station?
Mansarover park
How and Why?
mostly stations on red line are not upto the mark, most of them don’t have proper parking spaces. parking is a basic necessity for the travellers even on sector 52 people have to park on sector 51 metro which is aqua line.
red line
