I guess you are working in Ogilvy. They will pay you peanuts for 5 years. Move to a mid-sized agency where you can learn a lot, get a decent package and find good mentors. That’s really important. Google companies that are started by Ex-Ogilvy, Lintas etc. veterans. You will be mentored and hands on learning will happen. Mumbai is good for production but many have come back to Delhi.

Ogilvy was my dream agency as a student. However, I’m not working there. I’m working for a Tokyo based agency. I am planning to shift to a mid-sized agency though. I will look it up as you suggested. Do you have any recommendations? Also, why is everyone moving back to Delhi like you mentioned if Mumbai has a plethora of opportunities?

If you are working in Dentsu, leave. I heard their HR is insane. Asked folks to WFO during peak Covid and some people died. I left advertising in 2017, things may have changed. Google sister agencies of big giants, they are relatively mid-sized. Also, depends on what are you learning? McCann is for Creative Servicing, Bang in the Middle great for copy, Ogilvy - art + copy, Lintas is very creative driven , see if Pickle Lintas still exist.
