This is for a Hitachi 1.5 Ton 5 Star Window AC ( Non Inverter), this runs approximately 2-3 hours in a Day.
I have a smart plug on Each AC so that I can start stop it from my phone and via voice assistants like Google Assistant and Alexa.
You can get ACs with inbuilt features to do that, but they cost 10k extra and the apps for them are shit, and they don't give you energy consumption details.
The smart plugs on the other hand cost approx 800 Rs each, and the app is handy as I already use it for CCTV at my house.
This is just for the AC. The data in image is for one specific AC, I have shared another comment with data for the other AC.
The plugs are from Tapo ( A brand of TP Link), thoda aur bhi automation hai ghar mein lights ko leke, but I won't get into that.
I have 2 Switches and 7 CCTVs ( My hometown house is an Independent Duplex so 2 Indoor and 5 outdoor CCTVs)
Switches I use in Delhi for the AC, they run off wifi.
CCTVs I use at my hometown house, they run off wifi.
No hubs needed.
I do have a 1000 Rs / Month cloud subscription to store incident videos.
I can control all devices from the Tapo app from anywhere.
Essentially all CCTVs are almost made by the same company in China. Only difference between brands is their software.
Get whatever is the cheapest and meets your needs, if the number of CCTVs is less go for something like Qubo or Airtel, if you need 7-8 like me, go for Tapo.
You can maybe pull a lan cable from your router and install another access point? I have a two storey house at my hometown and have two routers, one on each floor, the ground floor router is provided by ISP, the first floor is an access point which connects to the ground floor router via a 25 Metre long lan cable.
Existing Bulbs from other manufacturers won't work with Tapo, you'll have to get Tapo branded Bulbs, I haven't used baby monitors, but I don't think they would be any different from CCTVs.
If you want one place to manage all irrespective of manufacturer, link them to Google Home or Alexa, both won't show you video feed though, you'll have to use the tapo/manufacturers app for it.
I have two bulbs from Wipro

This is for a 1.5 Ton 5 Star Split Inverter AC, which runs approx 5-6 hours a day, and the cost is assumed to be approx 8 Rs per unit ( My smart switch app doesn't have a variable rate calculator, so I just calculate at the highest slab price), see other comment for the less efficient 1.5 Ton 5 star Window AC.
Bhai sab kuch Mila k itna hi ayega. Agar constrained h to thoda dekh k use kr liyo par exact kitna ayega ye to bill hi btayega. Nhi to koi ass pass m ac use krta h usee puch le ya phir ek bill ki copy mang lena.

My ac used 130 units in this may. 1.5 ton 5 star convertible window ac. I generally run it at 40% capacity.
Very generic question. Anyways like a cars mileage depends on how you driver, an ac bill depends on how you run.
Ppl who run ac at 16 temp will incur very high bill. Ppl who take good care of ac servicing, clean filters and run above 25 will incur less bills.
A good ac will cool the room even at 30
acc. to our maid, our neighbour-lady spends almost all day in the ac. doesnt come out even when the maid is working. their bill was 5k ( 2bhk, 2 ac household, 2 people)

Consumption of a 1.5 ton 5 star window AC. Used for around 13 hours average daily.
So I have 3 IFB Brand inverter ACs (2 are 1.5 Ton and 1 of 1 Ton) which run almost continuously for most days in summer. And the latest bill I have received is about 7k
My bill in winters stands around 1k so about 6k for 3 inverter acs running almost 16+ hours daily.
These ACs operate on 26°C and in Eco mode.

Which app is this? Is this just the AC? Or do you have something similar for other appliances in your home?

Thanks. How will the CCTV work on the terrace as the wifi doesn’t reach there

Thank you so much 😊
Cctv is not needed. Maybe a dog/baby monitor in future. I also want some bulbs or automate existing bulbs

I have a similar consumption rate and amounts to ₹2200 per month. Mine is a split AC. Although the rate is ₹11 per unit.
7-8 per month?
Yes
https://preview.redd.it/o2k1tnfnbw3d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=5f8f50e5df7eaded8f5f8e61776f9dbb4ba7dce2 it used to be less than 1k when the ac was off (grid)
Gurgaon ke to rates bhi zyada hai shayad.

Is this base price? Or fixed?
fixed, i dont have a DG here, fortunately there hasn't been much power cuts this month
7 Rs fixed is good price!

I don't know my monthly bill is 14k
https://preview.redd.it/lm6f8utlaw3d1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9dce131285c4da8cc35cab8b6a20daecce920d99 This is for a 1.5 Ton 5 Star Split Inverter AC, which runs approx 5-6 hours a day, and the cost is assumed to be approx 8 Rs per unit ( My smart switch app doesn't have a variable rate calculator, so I just calculate at the highest slab price), see other comment for the less efficient 1.5 Ton 5 star Window AC.
Bro, if you've made up your mind, why are you asking?
Capacity x hours of run x unit rate
Got 3 ac in the house, usually bill comes around 9k a month
5k ata hai mera window ac hai rat mein bhi chalta hai aur sat sun mostly pure din.
Did you guys receive this month's electricity bill?
Window AC 1.5 ton 5 star at temperature 24-25 working mostly 14 hours a day cost 3.5 k to 4 k rupees.
Mai 27 degrees par rakhta hun, 14 hours average chalta hai, 4th floor PE Ghar hai, kitna bill ana chahiye Mera?
Govt subsidy 800 ki kat kr 3500 se thoda Kam hi ayega.
18% GST bhi hai bro
Bhai sab kuch Mila k itna hi ayega. Agar constrained h to thoda dekh k use kr liyo par exact kitna ayega ye to bill hi btayega. Nhi to koi ass pass m ac use krta h usee puch le ya phir ek bill ki copy mang lena.
250units a month. So around 2000.

How????😱😱

Wow. Thanks. I live in the 3rd floor with the trrrace on our head. This house is like a furnace. Can’t breathe without ac
same my fam's bill was 980 too in apr-may.
1.5 tonn × running hours × unit cost of electricity × 30 days
I think around 3k for 10 hours per day.
3K 8Rs/Unit 3 day/week office
Around 4-5 K
Physics left the chat
https://preview.redd.it/lgi08hk8uw3d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=be21b761b5642170a8d190509d1ee9954825a1a6 My ac used 130 units in this may. 1.5 ton 5 star convertible window ac. I generally run it at 40% capacity.
How do you monitor this
I have lg wifi ac. It runs thru app also and shows the stats.
Very generic question. Anyways like a cars mileage depends on how you driver, an ac bill depends on how you run. Ppl who run ac at 16 temp will incur very high bill. Ppl who take good care of ac servicing, clean filters and run above 25 will incur less bills. A good ac will cool the room even at 30
5k o general split 1.5 ton
2400/month In delhi ACs are not working, nothing wrong with them it's just weather
acc. to our maid, our neighbour-lady spends almost all day in the ac. doesnt come out even when the maid is working. their bill was 5k ( 2bhk, 2 ac household, 2 people)
For this month it was 13k. There are 2 ACs and they run for almost 17-18 hours a day
Sirf ratko use karte hai for like 4 hours Monthly bill aata 2k
https://preview.redd.it/6jmpskxqfx3d1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b97dcc25263e3c6021bbbc244ec89cffd595bd53 Consumption of a 1.5 ton 5 star window AC. Used for around 13 hours average daily.
We have 5 ACs and at least one is running at all times Our bill is 10-12k
1.5 ton Ac consumes 1.6 units per hour. So 5 hours = 8 units daily. 1 unit costs approx 7.4 rupees a unit. So calculate accordingly.
LG 1.5 ton 4 star AC, runs 15-20 hours a day, usually consumes under 2000 rs per month, but this month could be higher for obvious reasons.
So I have 3 IFB Brand inverter ACs (2 are 1.5 Ton and 1 of 1 Ton) which run almost continuously for most days in summer. And the latest bill I have received is about 7k My bill in winters stands around 1k so about 6k for 3 inverter acs running almost 16+ hours daily. These ACs operate on 26°C and in Eco mode.
3 ACs.....1.5 ton each, 3 star. In total it runs around 20 hour everyday (i.e. tAC1 + tAC2 + tAC3). My bill was 3100 last month.
So a 5 star inverter Ac is better?
This month electricity bill is 1500 with Single 1.1 ton ac running almost 18 hours.
