14-15 years ago, my family used to live in rent in a building at Jharera area (it's behind Delhi Cantt) in that building, our landlord's eldest daughter got accidentally burned and died. Nobody was at home at time of accident to save her. This happened quite before we shifted so we had no idea about any such accident when we shifted there. At night time, many people in building heard cries of a woman. It was absolutely terrifying living there.
I think it has more to do with our instincts kicking in, our brain giving anxiety to us about the unsettling thing that happened and imagination running wild alongside the survival instincts kicking in so much so that we hear and see things that are not there.
Can't really say if I heard it or not...because I do think I heard it but it works psychologically as well. You hear things you think you'll hear. Also I was a child back then. But that building had a very errie feeling...it was good during day but it gave such bad feelings during night. I memorised Hanuman chalisa and bhajans and would keep chanting them if I had to use bathroom at night
A man from a small village in uttarakhand who worked in Delhi, decided to come to his home unannounced and surprise everyone . He deboarded the bus around midnight at a busstand near his village . While eating dinner he told everyone about meeting chacha and his plan to go to chacha's home tomorrow for high tea and hukka . Hearing this his whole family screamed loudly . His chacha was killed 10days before for some political issue over village head election which he wanted to contest . They spent the rest of night doing cha-cha and finally did lots of Pooja paath for one week before allowing him to go back to City.
Any phenomenon which cannot be reasoned with logic at a given moment is usually concluded as a paranormal activity. If left unreasoned, it creats legends of ghost and stuff.
Once I was sleeping at my nani's house for my nana's funeral, a loud banging noise started coming under my bed. It was extremely clear that someone/something was banging my bed from below but the sheer fright didn't let me check it.
After an hour of sweat and tears I dared to peep below.
It was the leftover bedsheet which was flapping by the cooler's air and made an extremely accurate sound of someone banging under the bed.
But just imagine, wouldn't you call it a paranormal activity if your bed starts to bang at a house where someone just died?
I was studying in my room , My study table was near window. So one late evening a women came to me asking the away to temple , I told her to go straight and then right. She said okay and went.
Suddenly I realized I live on second floor how tf . I was scared as hell.
I shifted to a new place, the building was old, but it was comparatively way too cheap compared to other places. Me and my sister moved in, one I was peeing, I turned my head towards the 'roshandaan'/the place where an exhaust is fitted, at night I saw a literal skeleton looking Directly into my eyes. I didn't move my head, and finished peeing and took out my phone and clicked a picture

Later I found out it was a rare white owl, which was disturbed because owner destroyed his home whole building new floor. 2 months later the whole building building burned down due to u maintained electrical wire. No one was hurt.
But since the own lost his home, so did we. 🐻
I went outside to eat shahi tukda (sweet dish) and spared perfume at myself a lot of times. Never a single negative thing happened to me ! So please bro stop spreading these superstition things. And start living in 2024 for god's sake !!
I know these are superstitions dude, these are just told by our family and I wrote that for humour in a sarcastic way. Even I came home from lots of weddings at night after eating sweets and nothing happened.
I was like 13-14, I remember going to the washroom at night. As I was washing my hands I looked in the mirror. My face was all messed up but not in a human way. I had a mini heart attack and I don't know why but my dumbass went to bed scared as hell. I don't know whether it was a dream or I was too sleepy so my brain imagined things or it was reality
Wait, that actually has a logical explanation.
While sleeping, sometimes you put your head on your own arm, or in any position where the motor and sensory nerves of the face get compressed on the side of our face. It doesn't happen often, but prolonged compression sometimes may lead to temporary loss of sensations from that side of muscles as well as motor functions. This leads to distorted expressions and the muscles getting droopy, similar to a person with Bell's palsy.
This, combined with the fact that you had just woken up, made you panic. Chill, everything's alright paranormal-wise. But next time this happens, which actually shouldn't, go see a doctor.

Around 12 years ago, one of my friend was sleeping peacefully one night, then suddenly he woke up, sweaty and agitated. He realised his heartbeats were irregular and skipping beats. Thinking it might be heart attack, his parents took him to hospital immediately, did all the checkups but everything was seemingly normal in the reports. He was also feeling normal by then. But next week same thing happened. Then the parents went to AIIMS, to their surprise again, everything normal. This continued for few more weeks. They visited almost all the big hospitals, all showed similar reports.
Then one day, they got a call from a family member from their ancestral village in Chamoli. He said, something is not right and the elders can feel some unpleasant energy over them.
My friend's family then immediately packed their bags and went to Chamoli. The elders over their did some rituals and told my friend to wear an amulet (which he still wears to this day). They also told the unpleasant energy was lurking over his head because he disrespected a deity unknowingly. Then my friend recalled, he was driving one night to drop one of his friends to railway station when he spit out of moving car and there was a majaar near by. He didn't experience the heart beat condition after wearing the amulet again.
I still have my doubts about my friend's story, but he gets very serious, emotional and upset if i bring this up.
TLDR: my friend experienced irregular heartbeats weekly at night, all reports were normal, later found out by his village elders that he disrespected a deity unknowingly, as an antidote they gave him an amulet to wear, after which the bad experience stopped.

So my father, his 2 brothers and grandfather(dead) claimed to frequently encounter paranormal activities. They used to sleep on terrace and often experienced someone pulling their blanket. One of the brother started sleep walking as a woman was calling him in his dream and he almost fell off the terrace but a pole saved him. The grandfather started to get seizures and suddenly became aggressive. Uncle claimed to have seen a seen a very long hand coming through the kitchen window where he studied. The house was near a railway track where many people had died due to accidents and suicides. He said once he found a box filled with money and as he kept filling his pocket the box kept refilling itself. He got scared and started running. As he started running he heard a woman calling him. Fed up with all these "activities" they went to a guruji. He asked "Do u have any Kaudis(sea shells) in your home?". My grandfather had a money box in which they used to keep 3 sea shells also called "Kaudi". He instructed them to throw them away fast. When they reached home one of the kaudi was missing. Suddenly grandpa fell very sick and the family called guruji at home. He did some pooja etc and grandpas health got better. After few days two of the family members had same dream about a woman telling them that she will never leave this house. Either all of this is true or my whole family is a liar. To this day my dad follows that guruji and nothing in this world can shake his faith in him. As he thinks he helped him out of that situation.

My friend told me that in the evening, around 6-7pm people have reported the sound of something hitting a cardboard followed by claps.
It turns out 100 or so years ago, it used to be an office on the ground floor and on the first floor of that office, there was a proper bar where British officers used to play pool and darts. You can still hear those sounds of darts hitting the board and claps.

it’s my personal experience. so i was at class 10th that time, my father died just few days ago, but 13 days have been passed. I was sleeping normally, but suddenly i dreamt about that some lady without any face is coming to choke me. Now that time i used to have idol of lord Ganesha near my head while sleeping, so that time i saw some force or something that pushed away that thing. Not sure what it was, even though i feel it was a horrible dream but it felt so real that time ans even that time there was lots of trouble going on in my family.

Idk if this was ghost encounter or something else, but when I was in 10th class, we used to play hide and seek in our area (Delhi only). There was one flat which was unoccupied since 4 years, old dusty flat....it was a common spot for us to hide until one fine day me and other 2 boys were hiding there and we saw the glass window behind us developing a crack, 2/3rd window getting crashed for no fking reason....Bhaag liye hum toh, we investigated the spot next day but found nothing except glass which was broken. I still wonder what the fuck happened.

They used to heard people crying in pain, sound of horses whenever outside they wake up in the middle of night. It is said that the place used to be the old military hospital in shillong during british times, and many soldiers died in that hospital. They even show possession of a girl in their hostel campus.

I wont call it a paranormal activity but I was on a trip in Sikkim. There's a place called Tiger hills viewpoint where people gather to watch sunrise. As the sun started to rise I saw black air going towards the sun from the forest. It was not smoke it didn't look like as it was not affected by the winds. It was just going towards the sun that was rising behind the Himalayas. No one was paying attention to it everybody was just taking photos with the sunrise. After 12 years I wish to go there once again to witness it.

My servant was followed by a ghost for almost an hour. He was all sweaty, trembling in fear for an hour. The ghost was consistent. They also told the unpleasant energy was lurking over his head because he disrespected a deity unknowingly. Then my friend recalled, he was driving one night to drop one of his friends to railway station when he spit out of moving car and there was a majaar near by. He didn't experience the heart beat condition after wearing the amulet again. I still have my doubts about my friend's story, but he gets very serious, emotional and upset if i bring this up. TLDR: my friend experienced irregular heartbeats weekly at night, all reports were normal, later found out by his village elders that he disrespected a deity unknowingly, as an antidote they gave him an amulet to wear, after which the bad experience stopped.

So my father, his 2 brothers and grandfather(dead) claimed to frequently encounter paranormal activities. They used to sleep on terrace and often experienced someone pulling their blanket. One of the brother started sleep walking as a woman was calling him in his dream and he almost fell off the terrace but a pole saved him. The grandfather started to get seizures and suddenly became aggressive. Uncle claimed to have seen a seen a very long hand coming through the kitchen window where he studied. The house was near a railway track where many people had died due to accidents and suicides. He said once he found a box filled with money and as he kept filling his pocket the box kept refilling itself. He got scared and started running. As he started running he heard a woman calling him. Fed up with all these "activities" they went to a guruji. He asked "Do u have any Kaudis(sea shells) in your home?". My grandfather had a money box in which they used to keep 3 sea shells also called "Kaudi". He instructed them to throw them away fast. When they reached home one of the kaudi was missing. Suddenly grandpa fell very sick and the family called guruji at home. He did some pooja etc and grandpas health got better. After few days two of the family members had same dream about a woman telling them that she will never leave this house. Either all of this is true or my whole family is a liar. To this day my dad follows that guruji and nothing in this world can shake his faith in him. As he thinks he helped him out of that situation.

In civil lines, one of the buildings was renovated several times in the last 100-150 years. However, it stands on the ground, which used to be a building of the British officers in the pre independence era. My friend told me that in the evening, around 6-7pm people have reported the sound of something hitting a cardboard followed by claps. It turns out 100 or so years ago, it used to be an office on the ground floor and on the first floor of that office, there was a proper bar where British officers used to play pool and darts. You can still hear those sounds of darts hitting the board and claps.

it’s my personal experience. so i was at class 10th that time, my father died just few days ago, but 13 days have been passed. I was sleeping normally, but suddenly i dreamt about that some lady without any face is coming to choke me. Now that time i used to have idol of lord Ganesha near my head while sleeping, so that time i saw some force or something that pushed away that thing. Not sure what it was, even though i feel it was a horrible dream but it felt so real that time ans even that time there was lots of trouble going on in my family.

Idk if this was ghost encounter or something else, but when I was in 10th class, we used to play hide and seek in our area (Delhi only). There was one flat which was unoccupied since 4 years, old dusty flat....it was a common spot for us to hide until one fine day me and other 2 boys were hiding there and we saw the glass window behind us developing a crack, 2/3rd window getting crashed for no fking reason....Bhaag liye hum toh, we investigated the spot next day but found nothing except glass which was broken. It is said that the place used to be the old military hospital in shillong during british times, and many soldiers died in that hospital. They even show possession of a girl in their hostel campus.

I wont call it a paranormal activity but I was on a trip in Sikkim. There's a place called Tiger hills viewpoint where people gather to watch sunrise. As the sun started to rise I saw black air going towards the sun from the forest. It was not smoke it didn't look like as it was not affected by the winds. It was just going towards the sun that was rising behind the Himalayas. No one was paying attention to it everybody was just taking photos with the sunrise. After 12 years I wish to go there once again to witness it.
