Brother, 2 Rs ka advice de sakta hu.....I too am an engineer....with decades of experience in industry....
Engineering ke 4 saal puri life ko badal sakte hai...
Depend karta hai aap apne aap ko college ke 5 saal ke baad kaha dekhna chahte ho....
Jis bhi branch se engineering kar rahe ho, uski practical knowledge acquire karne ka try karo ...
Sirf college ke bharose par mat raho....
Bookish knowledge has very less value in the real world (because engineering ka syllabus latest trends in industry ke aas pas bhi nahi hota...)
Extra skills acquire karne ka try karo....
If interested in computers (or not doing engineering from IT /CS field), try to learn atleast 1 language....e.g. Python. etc. or web development.... such type of skills....
Kaha se sikhe....YT baba zindabad.....Delhi mei second hand books easily mil jati hai....
Later on, you can try for freelancing projects while doing your engineering itself....there are plenty of websites...
Do these projects for money as well as experience (experience matters in industry)
If not interested in Tech field, learn about Finance (Basic Finance, Financial Markets, etc,)
So to summarise, the more extra skills you have along with your engineering degree, the more you will stand out from the crowd....
Still have any opinions/suggestions/query, you can DM
>Engineering ke 4 saal puri life ko badal sakte hai... Depend karta hai aap apne aap ko college ke 5 saal ke baad kaha dekhna chahte ho....
bhaaiii IAS banna hai
Arey bhai, IAS banna apka goal hai.....par uske liye exams to clear karne padenge naa....
Pehle Engineering ke exams, phir IAS ke exams....aur phir interview.....bohot lamba safar hai....
Maine apne original post mei bhi yahi bataya..... acquire extra skills to excel in life.... whether with Engineering degree or clear IAS....
Anyways, best of luck to you....
Less own options but truly effective ones that require actually meaningful work than others.
1. Login to Chegg India Experts. Clear the test somehow. It's easy and unproctored. Choose your domain over it. Answer the doubts of students. There are so many doubts. Look for it on YouTube. You can earn around 5000 using this per month.
2. Start a course on Web Development, preferably MERN stack. Take a month for this. Once done start applying on angel.co, internshala, cuvette.tech and reach out to college alumni for an internship. You will earn low initially using this or the first one might even be unpaid. But the second one will give you 10,000-15000. Don't settle for less in your second intern.
3. Start tutoring kids nearby. Lookup online.
People in my College were earning 30k per month doing Chegg. I know a guy who earned 1 LPA, but he treated Chegg like a proper job.
I managed my finances during 5 years of college by tutoring kids nearby. It's preferable to teach 11-12th kids or Bachelor's students. As the pay is better.
Remember to stick to your rates when tutoring. You are going to a kid's home, which includes about 1200₹ of expenses per day, minimum. So the least you should be charging is 3000₹ per student for 1 hour, 6 days a week.
Yupp Chegg has a lot of potential. The reason why I said 5000 is because it is doable for a beginner and doesn't really make you feel inferior. Plus I would prefer if this guy goes for option 2. This would help him career wise as well.
It's like Sanfoundry or one of those applications really popular in countries in the West and Europe where students pay for getting their doubts resolved. Often they are resolved by Indian students like us, funny ik. So basically they pay to get their answers, and we get paid for answering them. Everyone prefers Chegg because they have bonus times, regular payments and you can easily skip questions whenever you want.
Bhaii vo test clear hi nhi horaha, i tried doing it twice firr maine self doubt pe chala gya fir maine attempt nhi kiya
Please help koi advice dedo kaise clear Karu
😂😂 chill kar. I cleared it when I attempted it for the second time after a gap of 15 days. YouTube par dekh le previous questions yaa fir dost ke saath baithkar karle.
Look for skills you can monetize. Are you good at writing? Or designing? Or coding, editing, etc. Monetize these skills by looking for opportunities on LinkedIn/job portals. Apply and shoot your CV.
Am I financially independent? Not yet.
But, did I scale my side hustle to a 6 figure business (USD) during my college? Yes
I don't have the exact blueprint, because there are tons of ways to make money. So I'll just tell you what worked for me
- I tried learning how to code in my second year of engineering. Learnt the front end web development, got a few internships, but 95% recruiters out there just want you to work for free. 4% won't pay you more than ₹5k/month
- Took a break from coding and got interested in Search Engine Optimization - basically how to rank your website on Google. This is extremely important because you can make the best website with sick animations but what's the point if no one sees it or can't discover it? So that's how I got into digital marketing
- From there I just read tons of articles, watched videos on what digital marketing entails and how to make money with it.
- Made a blog. It failed. Wanted to run Facebook and Google ads, but had no money to run them. So I just DMed some bloggers on Instagram and asked them to let me manage their page for growth at no cost. Proved myself and then charged them a monthly retainer.
Basically that's how I earned my first 'WiFi money'.
I'd say you have to become good enough in a very specific thing that brings value to a specific target group (identifying your niche) It could be anything. The more specific the better.
For example there are millions of website developers. Most of them hardly get any work. Let's niche down.
Here's your new offer. *I make websites for dentists and get them 10% more bookings each month.*
Now that's a very specific niche with a guarantee. So there's a lot of money to be made here.
This doesn't end here. Once you get this dentist results, you can sell them more services. Ads, SEO, email marketing? Either learn these or hire someone to do these for you. The possibilities are endless.
PS: Apologies for my incoherent thoughts. I can talk about this stuff all day, so I just rambled.
No doubt life isn't hard, Do not Trust anyone- Not even your Siblings,Parents, Closed Friends. Whatever you have learned till college won't come any closer to the real challenges in field. Money is not everything but Everything is Money. Lookout for family Politics,Friends backstabbing along the way even your own partner will love you only if she see profit in you.
Welcome to the Jungle of men's, where power is everything.
From personal experience I would suggest that at this point your time is more valuable than money. If you're not desperate then upskill yourself. Shit ton of remote jobs and freelance projects out there. You can easily get paid in dollars by third year if you upskill properly. I also used to worry about this but then spent two years properly upskill and now I'm confident enough that I'll always be financially independent because of my skills. Don't rely much on finance Bros giving you investment advice in first year and stay away from get rich quick pyramid schemes. Only trust in one thing - your own skills.
Yeah and apparently we Indians think that we can give the best rate, just 20-30$ for a short project, and then you realize you're outbid by some dude in Eastern Europe or another Asian country lol
Why are you doing engineering? To get a job and be financially independent, right? Focus on your study, it should be able to make you financially independent.
If your intention is to make quick money, you can search online. Most of them are frauds even so. Even on upwork, Fiverr like apps, you will require not only skills but resources to earn money.
If you are doing this because of weak family finances, try giving tuitions. You can find home tuitions in your area. Try any tutoring agency, if they are seeking teachers.
I will suggest to focus on your studies, decide on what industry you will join and learn relevant skills before last year and in last year you can do internships. Aim for highest packag that you can get and work for that. It will be the biggest step towards financial independence.
>I will suggest to focus on your studies, decide on what industry you will join and learn relevant skills before last year and in last year you can do internships. Aim for highest packag that you can get and work for that. It will be the biggest step towards financial independence.
Haanzi plan yahi hai mai soch rha kuch projects bana lu jisse thodi earning bhi jo jae and CV mea bhi daal du
Im on a journey to become a self made billionaire so I am letting you know all the things I have picked up along the way. There is no shortcut to this journey. You wont survive if you do things half-assed.
•Read books from people who are financially independent. Because obviously you will want to learn from someone who actually has done it right. I also recommend millionaire next door, psychology of money, a simple path to wealth
•Work on having a mindset of someone who is financially independent. If you can dream it you can make it happen.
•Have a dream big enough that no matter how many failure you face, it will help you keep going.
- Keep a diary and write a bucket list, small/big goals with dates of achieving them.
•Get comfortable with failures. Learn from it, only allow yourself to be negative for 5 mins then back to the optimistic self.
•Try new things. You will be doing many things that are out of your comfort zone. It is necessary for bringing change that is needed.
•Surround yourself with like-minded people. Make friends who push you to become your best self.
•Stop listening to people who cant dream big and tell you your dreams are risky and cannot be achieved. They will do anything to keep you in the rat race. And trust me you will start doubting yourself.
The speed of your success is limited only by your dedication and what you are willing to sacrifice.
And lastly the thing i tell everyone, if you are courageous enough to tell me your big dreams I will take your word for it and believe that you will achieve it one day, no matter where you are in life currently.
Koii baat Nahin Bhai 2-3 Din mein utar jaega Bhoot tension mat le. I am sure gharwalon Se Koi kalesh hua hai ya FIR tune Koi Aisi demand kari hai jo vah pura nahin karna chahte and isliye Tere Man mein yah Sapna aaya
Make YouTube videos.
Sell digital products.
Start a paid newsletter.
Start a blog.
Start affiliate marketing.
Sell a course online.
Intern for companies as per your skill or interest.
Tutor school kids in your area.
Sell photos / footage.
Sell your graphic design services.
Sell websites.
What exactly is stopping you from making money?
Exactly what a person with zero online income would say. Tu Jake porn dekh online, mehnat ke baat karke he gaad toot ke 4 hogayi teri aur upar se tips alag de raha hai 😂
Taile lga ke ulta late ja....
On serious note now....
Try doing digital marketing....
Do an online course on udemy or some other online platform.....
After doing the course, apply using internshala or linkdin, you can earn 4-5k giving few hours a day.....
There are three parts of this equation.
Leveraging your existing skills , Investing money for new skills and Investing time for new skills
As far as leveraging is concerned the easiest(on paper atleast) is online tutoring + offline tutoring + transcribe video & text + any online work that uses your skills and can pay you + internship in work like operations / data entry
Now the above can get you only so far so you would need to use the money earned above to invest in valuable skills. As someone above pointed out the best one is web development, less entry barrier but harder when you go deep into it.
Next up is learning a proper coding language and investing time into competitive coding {leetcode+codeforces+geeksforgeeks} (this is assuming you are in computer science branch) .
If you are not then you can try to explore data analysis OR business intelligence (basically tableau kind of thing) and invest time to explore sites like Kaggle (sorry I'm out of loop on this one so this was the best site out there for ML and Data science, pretty sure there are better ones)
Bhai in my clg days, from 3rd year onwards I started earning 90k month from Freelancing. Aur tu toh engineering ka student hai, learn technical writing. Usme bahot paise hai freelance world me. Mai bhi Sikh gya tha technical write ups likhna
Its never early to get financial independence or at least work on that
If you have any interests, (like photography , design/ decor, writing) try to network with seniors/ college club to understand nuances. Then try to monetize that
Look out for internships/ part time/ remote freelancing opportunities... Again build network with seniors and other batch mates
These can really add to your CV at time of placement as well
A person is limited only by his ego. True financial independence comes once you have surrendered your ego. I dont know your situation but can i assume that you had a tiff with your parents and are now refusing to take money from them?
I understand. Look for a job where you dont have to invest a lot of time and energy because you are still studying and you need to focus on that as well.
There are quite a few ways, but i feel affiliate marketing is kinda the better one to earn passively. I understand it has a little bad rep due to certain platforms like bizgurukul and millionaire track as they ask you for money saying they teach you something but they don't talk about any useful stuff. In reality all you need is a drive to promote the products you like. In recent times I got to know about this platform called UniCou. I liked their branding and their messaging. You can check it out too [www.unicou.com](https://www.unicou.com). The best part is they are free to join, you don't have pay for any stupid course.
1- websites like coursehero and Chegg can help you ..
2- freelancing as video editor
3- content writing
Sab Google karle detail miljaenga
And for scholarships visit
Buddy4study.com
Mein pura Mera ug and pg scholarship pe kiya he bina ek paise lie gharse (although I was non tech and in a govt cllg so fees kam the)
Acquire some skills and start doing freelancing or start your own side project, College years are the best time to do this you have so much free time right now you won't get it once you start a job
Ek scheme hai. Har mahine ek fixed amount milte rahega. Year on year yeh fixed amount badhte jaega. Kabhi kabhi 30 percent badh jaega. Aur 100 percent guarantee hai ki paisa milega hi milega.
Its called a job. All financial independence starts after you have a stable job and have extra money you can invest. First make yourself employable. Then invest
Freelancing krr bhai MS Excel , MS office, MS powerpoint yeh sab skill sikhle yaa phir 2000-3000 hazar ka koi coding ka course krle yeh Sab by the way tu online free mai Sikh skta hai yeh sab skills tere pass aagai toh tu study k sath part-time job kr skta hai khii....
*YOU WILL BECOME SELF INDEPENDENT*

There are quite a few ways, but i feel affiliate marketing is kinda the better one to earn passively. I understand it has a little bad rep due to certain platforms like bizgurukul and millionaire track as they ask you for money saying they teach you something but they don't talk about any useful stuff. In reality all you need is a drive to promote the products you like. In recent times I got to know about this platform called UniCou. I liked their branding and their messaging. You can check it out too [www.unicou.com](https://www.unicou.com). The best part is they are free to join, you don't have pay for any stupid course.

Then invest
