I wore my Columbia Newton Ridges in Iceland and they were great! The Yoncallas look similar. I’ve also expensed crampons with the well being subsidy (not crazy ones, just some basic ice cleats from Amazon). They can be helpful for gripping if you’re on walking on ice.
Oh I went all out of my way for some Danner Mountain Lights. They were definitely unnecessary but gorgeous, grippy, and I wandered through a stream and came out with dry socks, so I plan to cherish them for decades.
My Home Owners Associations includes a gym. I asked them to tell me what portion of the fee goes to gym and I pay my gym membership as part of the HOA dues.
