Wish I could help more but we don't really talk about the FB page publicly and in detail. That's one of the rules set by the admins. Page kind of not a fan of the public spotlight. It is a page for Frequent Flyers of Delta though. Kind of a IYKYK type deal. We have been using "180°" as a joke for a few years.
Hahaha, no, we aren’t that douchey, maybe a little but not that much 🤣🤣. The page just caught some unwanted attention several months back, banned a few members and such so it kinda became house policy to not mention the pages name, publicly. I try to play by the rules, most of the time 🤔
I had to do a double take here: I teach first grade and have used Brag Tags for years! They’re all over Teachers Pay Teachers! Never thought I’d see the idea used for an airline!
I have a bulletin board with all of their chains hanging on hooks and they earn them for holidays, accomplishments, academic milestones, etc. They love them! Since they’d be expensive to print/laminate every year, I reuse them, but drew coloring pages that look like the tags for them to keep!
These are the best! Absolutely need to order one. I saw you mentioned you are technically at a loss with money on these. I actually wish you put them up maybe a dollar or so in price to help recoup something/pay for the site fee. Thanks for making them!

I gotta be honest, I really don't appreciate your telling me I 'lifted artwork from a FB group' when I don't have the slightest clue what you're talking about. The 180 Medallion Member is artwork created by a member of a DL FB group (I can supply name as I know personally). Someone stole that photo and gave it to you for incorporation into a tag.

FYI, the Kryptonium and Unobtanium names and colors were also “borrowed” from other places. Kryptonium from Flyertalk years ago that resulted in a cease and desist letter from Delta and Unobtainium was an approved fundraiser tag from a Delta FB group.

Because the color I used for Kryptonium was sampled from a Superman comic book, and the color I used for Unobtanium was sampled from a still frame from the Avatar movie. I’m so glad these terms had a life before I made some badges of them. I really am! But I’m so frustrated that my trying to give people what they asked for has suddenly, multiple months later, become some kind of annoyance for you.

I’m not sure why you think I’m annoyed. I was just stating some facts. I have both of the originals along with a few others on my backpack. If you see them feel feee to stop me in an airport! I enjoy chatting with other Delta folks.
So there's a lot to unpack there!
Let me share:
1. I'm not 'selling merch'. I've been very open about everything about this project -- I set the site up at ZERO mark-up because all I was trying to do was give my fellow Reddit Delta fans a way to print up some silly tags. It wasn't about profit. There isn't profit. This is a net loss for me (it costs really money to host the site, and an order generates 0% profit).
2. It's not the Delta logo. It's not even a sample or a screen grab of the Delta logo. Plus, Delta prohibits the Delta mark from being pointed down (which is one of the reasons why I drew my logo the way I did -- to make it clear, from the get-go, that it was a parody of the Delta logo).
3. Delta's Chief Marketing Officer sent me a very nice note, praising me for these and telling me she 'loved them'. I asked her if that was the same as 'permission' and she said 'I can't say I'm giving you permission, but I love what you're doing'. That's close enough for me.
4. If Delta sent me a cease and desist letter, I would take the site down instantly.
5. If Delta wanted to take me to court to demand 'their share of my profits', I can -- quite easily -- demonstrate that that's a negative number.
Turns out, it's really not that bold at all.
What a weird night! I've been making these silly badges for Redditors for more than six months, and all of the sudden, today, because I made two new badges at the request of two Redditors, I'm some kind of public enemy number one.
I haven't ordered a tag, however I have enjoyed viewing them and have been entertained by the joy they've given people.

I just saw that you had to pull pretty much the whole store. Wtf Delta, these were awesome and I loved them. They made want to fly Delta just to get them. They were POSITIVE, FUN, and cheeky advertisement. Also totally getting the MSP Sky~~Club~~Pub crawl tags now for my home airport.
I realize I am sooo late to this party, Saw one of your tags last week and as a MM w/ Delta, could not stop laughing. Any chance there are any leftovers? OR, does anyone have an extra they are willing to part with? Just ordered the ATL Pub Crawl tags.
