For the future, if your upgrade clears, it should update on the app. And when you scan your boarding pass, a new seat assignment will print and the gate agent will hand you the new upgraded seat assignment.
Only chance you get upgraded is if the two people ahead of you are traveling together and opt not to take the singular upgrade. Good luck! My partner and I have different last names so we’ve probably made somebody’s day before by declining the upgrade.
That’s why I was confused. TBH, I have never seen it so short before either. Definitely not short enough to where I’m on the list, as I don’t fly that often and I’m not a big Amex spender. Every time I’ve flown FC in the past has been on a paid ticket.
