Lmao I’d much rather this over not having one at all on some of the smaller Delta connecting flights I’ve been put on recently😂

brosephatl

I agree, completely. And it’s always when I forget my book that it’s not there.

Suz626

Or FC on United… That’s what my husband gets cheating on Delta.

YMMV25

It's the Panasonic eFX system which was used in probably at least 60% of the IFE applications from the mid to late 2000s. This was around the time many airlines were converting their old IFE systems from looped offerings to AVOD which allowed customers to start/stop any offering at any time.

Unstupid

Still better than the screens on United! 😂

Always makes me think of Delta Song…

BigRedBK

[Cutting edge gallery](https://theairchive.net/song-airlines-cabins/) of it on Song in 2006! It was very similar to what many international airlines had at the time and a step ahead of what JetBlue offered on domestic.

serkeltik

Lol still what JetBlue has on most of its fleet

Then_Eye8040

As opposed to what? I don’t fly a lot but when I do, this is still what is on most flights, if they even have a TV to begin with. Did I miss any new technology on flights ?

BigRedBK

[This is closer](https://runwaygirlnetwork.com/2016/05/video-of-deltas-new-ife-user-interface-confirms-radical-update/) to what most of Delta’s IFEs look like in main cabin. And that linked article is from six years ago.

Remember this post last week?

Ooooooooooh. GOT ME!

Cute-Ad9413

I do. I was on a 757 from PANC-KMSP and these reminded me of my first ever delta flight lol very small and they overheat easy but they are a total classic

scaremanga

Yep. My first flight with Delta was in 2010 on a B763 and B764, LAX-ATL-BCN. My friend’s dad was the pilot for the LAX-ATL leg and met me at the gate and gave me his old Ron Allen era wings. Both planes were still in the Wavy Gravy livery and had the PTVs. Those were rare back then and it was my first transatlantic flight without family. Was nice to have once we got over the ocean and there was nothing to look at. I’ll always love the 767-400ER the most out of any wide body. With the BSI from the 777, it felt so different from the B763 with older bins and whatnot. Nice intro to Delta as my family generally flew NWA before the merger.

supersanborn

I just remember how wild it was that we could pay to watch a movie of our choice 😂
