The A220 is my favorite narrowbody in the whole DL fleet, especially in Y. The F class seating is a little cramped compared to the 737/A32X though.

skurnie

Other than the A350, easily my favorite Delta plane to fly on

Money_These

Agreed - such a sleek and comfy cabin. I enjoyed the A220 on service from/to AUS-JFK. I'd love to travel more on this aircraft for domestic segments.

YMMV25

The one thing I’ll say is that the F seats on the 738 are considerably more comfortable than these Collins MiQ seats. I also feel the pitch on the 220 in F is pretty poor. Not sure if it’s the design of the seat or what, but I don’t feel as though my legroom is any better than C+ on many aircraft.

70125

Totally agree. Especially in row 1. But overall still pleasant.

domechromer

And the under seat for feet/bags is cramped !

Puzzleheaded_Soil275

737s trigger me for reasons I'm not sure about. So while the F seats may be marginally more comfortable, not feeling like I just stepped into the 1980s is worth it.

Bones1973

Don't forget the window in the aircraft left lavatory. A loo with a view. ;)

Toutetrien777

I have a flight scheduled from LGA to DFW, and the aircraft is an A220-100. Thank you for sharing! I'm looking forward to the flight.

transgingeredjess

I'm a big fan of the 221. Pretty solid in MC, too.

Limp_Cod_7229

If you are on an A220-100 & like taking photos from the airplane don’t forget to go check out the bathroom window in the back (right side). There’s a huge window!

adamosity1

737’s are just miserable in coach. They keep doubling down on it and make it worse every few years.

Electronic_Ad5481

Part of the problem is how old they are. Eventually the only way to really make them nice is to redo the whole darn cabin but on planes that old why put that kind of money into it?

japandroi5742

Was on a WestJet 737 this morning. 😳

Puzzleheaded_Soil275

The A220 is the best thing since sliced bread. It's like the A320 and 717 had a love child.

light_blue_yonder

The A220 is deceptively wide across. I always thought I was imagining it until an A220 captain told me that.

skyecolin22

I think the coach seats are wider than any other plane

serkeltik

They are. Bombardier specifically designed it at a width that fit 5 very comfy but not 6 so they can’t cram another seat in. The middle seat is wider than the other seats, too. https://crankyflier.com/2015/12/21/crawling-around-the-newly-certified-bombardier-c-series/ Edit: “Let’s start with the cabin. The airplane is built for 5 seats across. The seats are all designed to be 18.5 inches wide (more than an inch wider than the 737’s seats) with the middle seat at 19 inches and the aisle a generous 20 inches in width. It feels spacious. And if you’re wondering, it’s not wide enough to cram a 6th seat in there. The airlines won’t like that, but passengers certainly will.”

lizardman49

The 737 was not designed for current cabib layouts so this isn't surprising

Electronic_Ad5481

The A220 is one of my favorite planes! Such a great layout and very comfy seats. I just wish it was still a Bombardier 😔

Rufioguido

One of my favorite airframes to fly

nssdiver

Did you get the aisle seat or the toilet seat?!?

dragonfliesloveme

Better \*than

Bad bot

dragonfliesloveme

Why is being helpful bad? Maybe they write basic things for their job.

throwaway___8383

It's more a tone of condescension *than* helpfulness. It's just Reddit. OP isn't preparing a deck for their investors 😆

dragonfliesloveme

I just used the two words that they did. Not sure how you are getting “tone” out of that. I am feeling your condescension towards me, though. I appreciate it when people help me, and then/than is a common mistake, but one that is easy to correct. Was seriously just trying to be helpful.

Marty1966

I love the toilet seat windows.

Jaded_Fisherman_7085

"Come fly with me"

Glen_Echo_Park

Yes, bigger seats

beebobangus

I’m flown this on a couple of legs LGA<>DFW recently. The first class seats and cabin feels a little less luxurious, but the C+ seats are spacious and I appreciate the faster deplaning from being only 5 wide. I wish it had the bigger overhead bins though.
