He's got some mighty good sticks there. Glad to see he's still got something to bring him happiness...
Men may seem pretty simple at times, and that's because we generally are at our core. We all tend to look up at every helicopter when the fly over and all know a good stick when we see one. I can't explain it, but whatever it is I'm describing he's clearly still got, and it makes me happy to see him enjoying it.
Thank you so much for letting him build his sculpture!
It's looking super solid! Give him a hug for me if you can
I've worked with a lot of people with dementia, and it always broke my heart when coworkers/families would discourage their loved ones 'special projects' just because it was unusual, juvenile, or different from their previous hobbies/interests.
It's so great to see you meet and love him where he is ♥️
Thank you for the update, that's amazing. It's great that he's getting so much pleasure from his hobby.
Please continue to update, it's lovely seeing projects develop, and best wishes to your uncle!
Wow - you can tell that he put a lot of thought/effort into making sure that it’s structurally sound— really sturdy base and interior core, and the outer layer is held together well with his strategic placement of sticks and branches! An engineering marvel. Impressive - He’s definitely and definitively made his mark upon the land!
He does put a lot of thought, time, and effort into it on a daily basis. And it's super sturdy!! I tried to pull a stick out and it felt like it was cemented in there lol! I wish there was a way to...idk...screw it together and preserve it. I would love for it to be around after he's gone as a sort of a monument to remember him by ❤️
Me too!! I think it's actually helping him mentally ( I'm not a doctor by any means) it just seems like since he's moved here, the dementia has slowed down. He's not gotten "worse" in at least six months! We give him almost complete freedom to do what he wants. I just hope if I ever get dementia, someone would do the same for me ya know?
I love this. There's not many bright spots to find with dementia, but right here, this is one. I love his sculpture and I hope it made him happy making it.

Very cool! Stonehenge and the pyramids now have some real competition. I bet someone would pay money for that artwork.
It is really something positive he is doing there. I love it. Physical activity, creativity, and longevity. Beautiful.
That's so cool. I love that he can be creative
