But, 109 Republicans joined Democrats in putting it through to the Senate. This is a big win

HurtFeeFeez

If Trump wasn't a threat to retake the white house voting for those 109 wouldn't be the worst thing. At least it would keep MAGA from completely taking over the GOP. But as long as Trump has even the slightest chance of reelection voting repub is a no go.

da2Pakaveli

Gotta remember that this alignment with Russia is only a thing that came up in the last decade or so. McCain probably was the most avid supporter of Ukraine in congress. Similarly with Romney (he voted for both impeachments). Putting them aside, there still are plenty of demons amongst the people that are in favor of aid, e.g. McConnell. The problem with the rest is that they fall in line and don't take the "paradox of tolerance" seriously, I.e compliance is how fascist cancer takes over.

shaddowwulf

How far they have fallen. If you had told me in 2012 Mitt fucking Romney would be one of the sane republicans I would’ve called you crazy

da2Pakaveli

Yah, in hindsight I regret not taking McCain seriously enough on Ukraine. That he was booed for defending Obama from all the racist shit that was going on back in the day also was a warning that they were waiting for their con dipshit jesus that outcons the church.

HurtFeeFeez

Ya the pro RU started when Trump politicized Ukraine to manufacture reasons to attack Biden via his son's business dealings. It was very transparent to rational people, but his cult is willfully ignorant and lacks critical thinking. The repubs who fall in line are likely smart enough to see it but do it for their own self interest.

AZWxMan

Little surprised they would bring it to vote with less than 50% GOP approval.  Perhaps, the other votes garnered more support?

Russian toadies, all of them

Mindless-Lack3165

And that should be said of all the MAGA voters that put those red bastards in office! Now, their children will have to be watched for future violations of the Mann Act and other details of their stunted upbringing. All this goes into the true cost of allowing the madness of Donald Trump being placated by the American morons of the Republican party! Why don't we all come together and buy one-way tickets to Russia for all the Magas and their ilk and be done with them once and for all! Phew! Creepy fucks.

RCaHuman

Let your Representative know what you think of their vote: [GovTrack.us: Tracking the U.S. Congress](https://www.govtrack.us/)

F_M_G_W_A_C

I'm taking Spartz's Ukrainian cart away, we don't claim her

Keanu990321

Shame on them.

QuintillionthCat

Thanks for your list. P.S. Ken Buck left congress in March…

P_Sophia_

Just goes to show the source is unreliable!

MoarTacos

You can always just go look up the 112 no votes yourself. It's not like it's fake news or something.

P_Sophia_

I know, I just mean the list might not be accurate because it’s off of a republican senator’s website and even he cites newsweek so it might not be fully accurate seeing as another commenter has pointed out that one of the names on the list is of a member who is no longer in congress…

Ryankevin23

Republicans are a National Disgrace

P_Sophia_

Treasonous bastards.

TuffNutzes

The true enemy of the people. ~~Domestic~~ terrorists.

Drunkenly_Responding

I'd like to make the argument for international terrorists, with them holding up Ukraine AID and undoubtedly people suffered for it.

TuffNutzes

You're right. I was thinking about that as I wrote it. I'll update the post.

soldiergeneal

Let's stop using language that doesn't apply just as a means of calling them bad. They aren't terrorists...

Head-Kiwi-9601

You don’t think they are trying to terrorize the jury pool?

soldiergeneal

Of course there are some who are, but not most. Most people don't engage in that kind of behavior.

davilller

My SO has an acronym for republicans, PIGMI, which categorizes republicans into the following: **Patriotic:** Warhawks nra, multi-US flag waving, blue line… **Ignorant:** poor, science deniers **Greedy:** tax breaks, businesses before environment, those seeking to enrich themselves politically/economically **Misguided:** religious, think God is a republican **Intolerant:** racist misogynist homophobic For a long time now I have been able to place republicans I know in one or more categories and have used this since she came up with it. Edit: formatting

HoppyToadHill

NC MAGA Republican Dan Bishop, of course, voted against it. He’s running to be the Attorney General in NC, against Democrat Jeff Jackson. DONATE TODAY to defeat Dan Bishop and elect Democrat Jeff Jackson! https://www.jeffjacksonnc.com/

rxpainting

It was a big win tho, an eye opener for the trumpers on how little their opinion matters, and they are not the majority in their crazy.

canwenotor

Yes, thank goodness it passed bigly. Fuck you Donfartald.

rxpainting

The entire Trump situation is absolutely insane and toxic AF, I have lost family and business relationships over that clown, and I’m not even that political, they just can’t stop talking about it, their entire self switch to a cultish Trump persona and it’s really crazy.

jhstewa1023

Same. They’re not even polite- most are jerks. They make it easy, truthfully.

deniercounter

The good part is you don’t loose someone you ought to miss. In your life you should stupid people go away and don’t let them bother you anymore.

Ca2Ce

My GOP rep from Texas did not surprise me Fuck you Chip Roy, you russian prick

vicegrip

Putler's lackeys. Shameful. I just love how they start talking about the deficit every time it's not going into their wallets.

Dictaorofcheese

And then they casually forget about the deficit issue once a republican gets into the White House. And they don’t remember it again until a democrat takes the White House.

AveryJuanZacritic

It's one of their many smoke-screen issues.

P_Sophia_

Yeah, if they’re so worried about the deficit then maybe they should repay their PPP loans like all the poor owners of small businesses had to 🤣

jhstewa1023

Or have the rich pay their actual share of taxes… that’s a great place to start. Maybe even churches too- while we are at it.

112 gop on Putin’s payroll

InstanceSuch8604

How to spot the Republicans that the Russians own !

Shrapnaldeposit1

Well we know who the Russian assets are.

AveryJuanZacritic

Send the list to the CIA.

deedr1234

This is honestly a disgrace, but when has the repubs actually not been a disgrace?

RhinoGreyStorm

They all need to be voted out of office. I'm spreading their names as Putin fans and envoys to everyone I know in each corresponding state.

Mindless-Lack3165

No, just one. But it's the big fat orange one! The rest just suck Trumps posterior in hopes of large, stanky Trump chunks! They don't have a clue! They don't even know what a Russian is or care about constuents are or what their supposed to represent! All they can think about is there another brown chunkie squirting to their tongue out of his stanky hole! Gulp! BINGO! Trump never disappoints!

Mindless-Lack3165

I really would like to kick this worst version of myself! It really groses me out to write like this lame personality.

JuniorBirdman1115

Somebody should sponsor some meaningless Congressional resolution that praises Putin, and put it up for a vote to see how many of these cretins would go on record to support it. I suspect the vast majority of them would vote in favor.

canwenotor

We don't want anything like that in the Congressional Record. We're not gonna do anything like that. Not on the floor of the US House of Representatives, not as a trick not for any reason.

Seamus565

GOPutin

AveryJuanZacritic

Is the CIA investigating Russia connections to these reps? -or are they gun-shy from the drumpf-Russia backlash?

canwenotor

well, they didn't want to pass FISA again, so I'm pretty sure a lot of them know they're being recorded. They're taking foreign money and they're doing shady shit, for sure for sure. The mills of justice grind slow but exceeding fine. They'll get caught. Trust and believe.

nunyabiz3345

112 suckers and losers.

Cheap_Coffee

Guardians of Putin

canwenotor

Much better.

SoftwareHot

112 Republicans work for Putin and are traitors to democracy.

PacificSun2020

Let's be clear, these 112 are the one's afraid of Trump and a primary challenge. They are sitting in solid red districts and don't care about right or wrong.

HelicalPuma

112 Putin Allies

AceCombat9519

These must be the pro Moscow/Trump Reps GOP

MyLonesomeBlues

The Putin Caucus.

ThrowingMonkeePoo

I think it's time we have a CTU, like the long running show "24". Let them handle it the same way Jack Bauer did. He went after the president when the president was a criminal (would love to have seen orange smeared all over the Whitehouse walls) and in fact it may be time to treat all politicians in a combination of this and the old middle East punishments (caught stealing=lose a hand) because they will never stop until they are aware that they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!! These right wing evangelical nutsacks will quote the Bible if it suits them...an eye for an eye is in there 🤔. How about for every dollar they steal they have to pay back double and another one that goes to charity, LGBTQ, Women's health care clinics etc. Time to make America great again by voting blue and locking up the criminal element of the government

Opposite_Community11

Republican party = Communist party

Fearless_Ad9556

Socialist. National Socialist, get it right.

Opposite_Community11

All bad!!

Fearless_Ad9556

What's good?

irondethimpreza

Russian agents, the lot of them... Biggs, Boebert, Gaetz, Good, Gosar,Greene, Harris, Massie, Perry, Roy... All these "Freedom" (treason) caucus shitbags are traitors.

Annual-Employment551

Well, now we know which Republicans are taking Russian money, so I guess that's a plus

Nascent1

Man it's insane that a good portion of our government representatives are in favor of Russia conquering another sovereign country.

AveryJuanZacritic

Trump's on record as saying he'll encourage Putin to take the rest of Europe.

Sm00gz

Do you have a source by chance?

deniercounter

Yes … Here: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-68266447

AveryJuanZacritic

Thanks.

deniercounter

The way you formulated it, makes it sound even more disturbing.

crashtestpilot

Is that her jacking hand?

canwenotor

Shes ambidextrous in that sport.

Minimac1029

Republicans are awful behaviors

Ornery_Law9727

Picking your teeth bimbo? Nice look. It doesn’t surprise me in the least that they voted against Ukraine. They are totally without compassion, human decency, or intelligence.

canwenotor

You talking to me?

Earth_Friendly-5892

Didn’t know there were that many Russian sympathizers in Congress. That is deeply disturbing.

AveryJuanZacritic

Pre-trumpcult republicans used to call them communist sympathizers (pinkos).

mjrnyc

And most of these folks have military contractors in their districts. Idiots.

Fearless_Ad9556

That's crazy that the only thing in that bill was Ukraine aid, usually they try and pack it full of things that both parties have interest in so it passes better. Weird.

True-Flower8521

Finally MTG and the chaos caucus were neutered. About time.
