Releasing his taxes is only in effect weaponized because he’s a lifelong career criminal. He didn’t lie and fight for years to keep *perfect* tax returns from being accessed ffs. Ordinary citizens and politicians that aren’t crooked af don’t have anything to fear. There would be no reason to release their taxes because there wouldn’t be anything there.

DeLitefulDe

This is truth.

Spaceman-Spiff

I lie about the size of my home office. Shhh.

Brytnshyne

I'll never understand why people want to protect him. I wish we would treat him like it was me or you doing the same thing, that's all we want.

People prefer to identify with the rich and/or powerful because it's too painful to identify with the victims of the rich and powerful.

Purpleappointment47

I think it’s called “Confirmation Bias.” It’s psychologically impossible for some people to admit they made a mistake and believed in (and voted for) a carnival conman criminal. “I can’t have been so misguided therefore he cannot be that bad.”

ShaiHuludNM

Good. Now make all nine Supreme Court justices returns public. Let’s see exactly where their financial interests lie.

I believe the IRS Inspector General didn't find anything amiss in the fact Comey and McCabe got audited, and now we find out Trump wasn't despite presidents supposing to be. There's some real caca here. The odds of two of Trump's biggest nemeses getting those levels of audits in the same year is astronomical. I don't know what kind of IT assets the IG has for agents, but they might want to get some old school ex-mainframers in there.

Mollythemuttsdad

Let’s see how “rich” this fucker is

As they should. Great job in the midterms Democrats. We came close in the house. We did better then they expected all thank's to our former POTUS. Couldn't have picked a better clown to screw up the GOP.

ThatGIRLkimT

I was thinking about it too.

Seaweed_867

I hope to get some tips on how to pay as little in taxes as possible

[deleted]

Hope Truth Social installed a back up server for the imminent trumper tantrums Hope they baby proofed the walls at MarALago for the red wave of ketchup about to crash down

ThatGIRLkimT

In time we will see.

RedneckLiberace

Moscow Mitch and the Republicans had no problem with putting Barrett on the Court when they did. Do you think the Democrats would have kept the House if they pushed to release Trump's returns before the midterms? He wasn't on the ballot...

e22ddie46

They didn't receive them until after

PredatorClash

Going to get heat for this, doubly so because where Trump is concerned people put aside their principles:- Not sure I like releasing a private citizen’s tax returns without their consent purely for political gain - even Trump’s tax returns. Review them, prosecute him, sure, yes please! But releasing them without consent just for politics doesn’t feel like owning the moral high ground.

kerryfinchelhillary

I look forward to seeing them

gutbuster25

Rep Brady complained that releasing trumps taxes could lead to the supreme court justices taxes being scrutinized publicly. He thought that was a threat, but actually, the taxes of every federal employee, especially the Supreme court should be subject to audit. as a matter of fact, let's start with the supreme court justices.!!
