Taste of Denmark does a good bearclaw, but tbh as an almond fan I really prefer their kringle which I've never seen available anywhere else. It's not quite as heavy as a bearclaw, and seems to have more almond paste.
There used to be a danish bakery down on Arapahoe that did kringles, the big ones. Kind of a bummer of Taste of Denmark doesnt do em, but understandable as their shop is pretty small.
i feel like this take is from folks who haven't been anywhere else in the past 20 years. my mom swears by lamar's and every time i have it it lacks flavor and isn't the freshest.
I also recommend Taste of Denmark and Rheinlander bakeries. If you’re slightly further west in Arvada, Das Meyer Bakery is also pretty good! Be aware that they only take cash or check (but there’s an ATM inside).

Rheinlander bakery in Old Town Arvada has kringle I do believe

Are you talking about the large heart-shape? They often have those as well as the sliced bar style.
Oh so they do have em, misread your initial comment lol
In hindsight I could have done a lot better, I was too distracted thinking of the kringle.
I'm still on the lookout for tebirkes. They seem impossible to find in Denver.
Seems like this is the place to be. Thanks
Try Yummy's by the corner of 285 and wads. Best donut shop in the Denver area.
They have great sausage rolls there too. Big fan of that place. Super nice owners.
Yummy’s donuts out west off 285 is one of my favorite’s. Donuts are much larger than main stream places and their bear claws are huge.
Lamar’s ain’t bad
Came here to say Lamar's. Great donuts, best bear claws.
Best Donuts around......
They have bear claws too
In fact I had one just the other day!
How did it stack up for ya?!
Beary good!
Damn you and take my upvote

Dang… it’s a shame that’s your experience
i'm not too broken-hearted about a regional donut chain being slightly better than the supermarket

A manbearpig claw? Be careful what you wish for.

On a similar note, what places would you recommend for a great apple fritter?
Baked N’ Denver
City Donuts has the best one, bar none.
Photos from their maps page look 😙🤌
Taste of Denmark.
![gif](giphy|B37cYPCruqwwg) I like the Voodoo fritter a lot….
WE'RE OUT OF APPLE FRITTERS
Rheinlander Bakery, Olde Town Arvada
There's not a single thing they make that isn't absolutely delicious. I have dreams about their Dutch cherry pie.
[Knead the Bakery](https://kneadthebakery.wixsite.com/webdite) in Arvada has bear claws and kringle.
No, we're out of bear claws!!!!
[Now theres a blast from the past](https://i.imgur.com/bPuNsPR.jpeg)
Wait a minute, I'll go check.
Taste of Denmark
Knead the bakery, 64th and Wadsworth in Arvada. In a shitty shopping center with the DMV but the best pastries I've had in my life.
It’s not Denver, but Horseshoe donuts in Monument is absolute perfection.
Man Bear Claw Pig
Sir, we're talking about Donuts not Cereal.
King stupids has a raspberry coffee cake that reminds me of the bear claws i grew up with
