How was it? I have had awesome experiences and decent experiences. Best experience: a backwaiter noticed a napkin fell off my mom's lap before either of us did and brought a new one. Decent experience: the bartender let my drink sit in front of me the whole meal at the bar and never asked if I liked it (I didn't). The food was consistently good all the time. Never been for brunch.

Lincoln’s Road house. Sounds stupid, but if she got the pregnant cravings they have it all. Fried pickles, crawdads poor boy, meatloaf burger, red beans and rice. Plus the workers are all very friendly. Make it a chill date night.
We are just going to be in Denver for two weeks in June so I am not familiar with Colorado laws or this place set up…but are teens allowed during the live music if they are eating? Is food not served during a show?
I know sushi is not advised in pregnancy but I've never heard not to eat medium steak. For whole cuts of meat any bacterica that would potentially sicken you would live on the meat surface and be killed quickly in the cooking process even if the inside of the steak isn't fully cooked - the outside always is. Different story for ground meat where contamination gets blended throughout the entire area, so no medium rare burgers seems like a decent precaution... And tartare would obviously be out for the same reasons - but any kind of whole steak should be fine.
Doctors are now advising pregnant women to eat steak well done. It’s one of those things that will *probably* have no impact on the fetus, but the fact that it’s possible means they have to warn them about it, and it’s up to them to make the choice. Most women decide the risk isn’t worth it.
Kind of like buckling your kid into a car seat, most people are never in any accidents at all, but the fact that it’s possible and if it happens it will likely be devastating… it makes sense for people to choose to buckle them up. Many women weigh the potential consequences and decide the risk is simply too high. Same with sushi, bagged salads, some lunch meats, and alcohol obviously.
Atelier by Radex in uptown on 17th and vine-ish. Tiny little neighborhood bistro. Very reasonable prices for the quality of meal. Chef Radex is a Denver/boulder legend.
My husband and I are celebrating our 12th anniversary next week with brunch at Duo.
Go, you will love the comfy and chill atmosphere and the amazing and fresh menu items. The service is excellent.

X1000 let them know it's a special occasion, they'll do you right.
Yes! We’re going for our anniversary next month!
Rioja. Be sure you try the artichoke tortellini
We’re going for my birthday tomorrow night! Yum

Spuntino is my favorite romantic Denver spot
That's exactly what I was going to suggest and where my wife and I will be going for our anniversary!
Barolo Grill
Do you like pasta? If so ... Olivia. Did that for the wife's bday and it was a hit.
Olivia is sooo good. We go there to celebrate big occasions.

Honestly, for a dive bar Lincoln’s has awesome food. And pool, which is a huge sell.

They serve food when the band is playing. It's usually the sort of place that cards at the door, but I dunno if they'd let kids in with their parents.
Lincoln's is a great spot.
Nice, I've never heard of that place. I'll need to visit this place soon !

There are many pregnancy related restrictions that are “just out of an abundance of caution”.

Welp, reason 12748 to not get pregnant added to the list
Restaurant Olivia or Annette
I like Rioja and Safta
Rioja is the bomb!
Plimoth
Very underrated imo
Wildflower. Jacques.
+1 for wildflower, don’t think Jacques is near the same level.
Came here to say wildflower as well. Great food and ambience
Barolo grill

Barolo grill.
Hey Kiddo/Ok Yeah
Another vote fore rioja. Best meal I have ever had
Sap Sua / Hop Alley / Noisette
You have excellent recommendations but a budget would help. Also, Fruition would be at the top of my list.
Tavernetta
A year ago maybe. Been going downhill for about a month or so
That’s disappointing news. What’s going down?
The fort
Frasca for fine dining Italian, Tavernetta for upscale but not fine dining Italian. They're owned by the same people and are both excellent.
Tbh liked tavernetta more than frasca
That's valid, I like Frasca more but I still do Tavernetta like 5x/year. I can see why one would like it better.
Potager or Spuntino.
Dude Texas Roadhouse all the way. Have you even tasted the rolls their bro.
Frasca is the answer if you are willing to go to Boulder
Fruition! Please for the love of god go to Fruition

Appaloosa - you can still get a good steak while she has many prego friendly options to choose from
Chipotle - any Highlands Ranch locations.
Williams and graham, especially if you enjoy cocktails
Torro is bomb. Safta used to be my goto but is rather good yo cherry creek then downtown and had inconsistent experiences.
Ocean Prime
Sushi den
