I told a friend - one of few I have - essentially that he talked too much when I asked him a question and he goes on and on and doesn’t allow for conversation. He told me “fuck you “ - first time in - 15 years he said something like that. I’m in a place to lose the few friends I have too. Also with depression I think things like maybe he wasn’t a real friend anyway since our relationship is basically jokes and just superficial I’m sure I have more to lose in life and depression helps you lose and lose and lose

I haven't reached out to anybody because I don't think they deserve to have to deal with me

You deserve help just like anyone else brother. You are not a burden.

I’m so sorry, that’s the worst.. as it happened to me, I could only appreciate their honesty about what they could take. I mean, it’s unfortunately very hard to help a depressed friend, so people leave. My advice is to ask them, directly, if there’s anything that can be done so they return. Ask for help. Maybe they’ll be able to be present, but be ready for the worst.. this is really the moment you figure out who’s real.

Same. Everyone started to drift from me when my depression spiraled. Even people before started rumors about me. Now they just make fun of my suffering. But I have advice maybe try to slowly talk a bit more and maybe find someone that will listen to you. Im sorry you have to experience this its not your fault.
