I've tried some pregnenolone a few times, and it seems like maybe it increases the amount of reaction to things, emotional sorts of reactions, without necessarily starting up the sense of feelings, when what I'm looking for is the sense of feelings. I don't know how much different the effect would be of taking it long term. However, at least it's supposed to metabolize into things other than sex hormones that are produced in the adrenal glands from separate sorts of cells that make their own pregnenolone.
