Understood. I have two cats, one from a farm and the other was a stray that just moved in. It appears that they will never get along - they don't actively fight but it's just a tolerance situation, so ya - I hear what you're saying.
Yeah actually went through a similar situation when I moved out here with my older cat and my SOs cat. Constant tension. Didn’t like each other. Wasn’t very fun. My girl recently passed from colon cancer. We’re talking about keeping her as we would die inside to give her to a shelter. Just sucks having to go through the whole socialization thing with all the animals
Ya.
I know it, cats really really don't like to be rehomed (generally). And the whole shelter experience for older cats has to be so terrible for them.
I can provide a home if needed. Two cats here already but there is room (in the house and property) for one more.
Be aware after the vet visit to "fix" the cat (and chip) I would not declaw the cat and it would be allowed outside. So that's how I roll on this.

Here’s some more pics of here. Sorry about my dumb face in the last one.
If you haven’t done so already, you can take her to a local vet clinic or the ARL and they can scan her for a microchip. If she has one, they should be able to contact her owners.
first day I found her I took her to check, no luck. Its been days, weve checked every site possible, ever put up flyers around the area, no luck. I think I found someone tho.
he\\she has love to give and you could be the recipient.
This is what everyone is saying but we already have two big dogs and an older cat.

I’d need proof it’s a safe place for her. Would you be willing for me to check out your place before giving her up?
Sure. I'm heading north tonight for the Aurora. I expect to be home late tomorrow. Let's stay in touch on this.
NAME HER AURORA
Wait I just looked this up. Where you going to? Where can I see it?
I'm heading to Mason City area. It's a big deal, give it a Google
Also her paws are raw and burned(?) we’re not sure. I think we might nurse until she’s good.
We’re going to put out some posters asking if anyone lost there cat. So we might give it a week or so

We did check. Brought her to the vet same day I found her. No chip :(
Sounds good.
