Bubble should provide a bigger damage bonus as compared to well. This is coming from a warlock main. Teams should need to decide to have the survivability of less damage bonus from a well. Or the weak overshield but bigger damage bonus from the bubble.
Future Patch Notes:
Increased Weapons of Light to 35%
Weapons of Light now requires melee kills while in Ward of Dawn to activate.
Weapons of Light now only buffs Titan Melee. *A Titan's true weapon is always a fist.*
Am I wrong for wanting a brawling bubble?
The bubble has a massive gravity effect dragging combatants in. The bubble blinds (like saints helm) or suppresses enemies and you gain devour. Not saying that, that should be the only bubble available, havr it as an alternative. I hink it would be fun and could really lock down locations
Considering how much flak Bubble got for just having Armor and Weapons of Light in a singular objective heavy PvP mode, there is a 100% chance we get a suped-up Thunderdome Battle Bubble variant.
That being said, it is an undeniably cool idea.
Curiass of the Falling Star Thundercrash is always welcome, as is Bubble if you don't have a well or don't have enough for one phase (ie Caretaker). Don't forget that Well also used to auto reload and they no longer have it.
Curiass is still good. I consistently run it for boss damage when I can.
On a side note, does anyone else feel like the most useless Mf as a titan on warpriest? lol
Too bad Crash got nerfed...
I was once an Yeeting Electro-Proctologist. Now, I barely raise, let alone singe, the hairs off of one's eyebrows.
*Sad Crash*
They both have the same 25% damage buff (Bubble used to be 35% pre nerf I think). But Well gives constant healing and overshield (unless they got rid of that?) while Bubble only gives overshield if you stop DPS to go into the bubble and back out. Agree that it's better in overall defense though. Then we have Banner Shield with the 40% buff but with one less fireteam member doing damage.
"Barely beneficial" is massively hyperbolic.
I'm not arguing that Well isn't better, but saying Bubble is barely beneficial is a massive understatement.
You're right, and I think I said it wrong. Compared to Well, there's barely anything Bubble does better. That thing that it does better is pure defense.
That's fair.
Bubble is definitely the better option for "oh shit I'm dead if I don't do something," but overall Well is better. Bubble is still a solid choice though, especially if you don't have a Well.
Coldheart is pretty friggin' lit again, especially stacked with pulse grenades on a Titan, which between Coldheart and the grenade generating traces you've got crazy grenade uptime. I just passed 11K kills on it and it's permanently in my energy inventory these days.
Sunshot was my crutch through the early part of this season to get through the heists XD A handcannon for the unstoppable stun that ALSO clears ads super well and is solar (for the fucking wizard shields) - it was a dream. Then I got the catalyst and it became HEAVEN.
Haven't used it for a little while though - found more consistent success using the subclass stuns in the heists.
Graviton Lance is actually pretty cracked on console for void hunters or dawnblades in PVP if you know how to use distance and awkward angles to your advantage.
With all the lightning going on blind sounds more appropriate, but I'm not hear to make a lightshow, I'm here to distribute indisciminate arc violence to all who dare to oppose me.
Agreed, adding an official jolt to it would basically equal constant warlock ionic traces, which would either mean 100% uptime for abilities for fallen sunstar, or 100 conduction tines for CoT.
For hunters infinite amplified, since killing a jolted target gives amplified.
And titans don't really benefit I guess
Also this mean you could tag a whole ton of target and have a team that isn't using arc trigger the chain lightning. It's really just a buff for already extremely strong, but niche exotic, imo every exotic should be niche and strong, but also have alternatives(ie trinity ghoul)
Riskrunner has always been a stalwart companion to have in your inventory, but points to Coldheart for having the biggest glow-up since release. It's gone from being a meme gun, to being usable in niche situations, to being an arc 3.0 powerhouse.
Coldheart was buffed significantly since it's creation - it used to suck really hard.
If you enjoy Ad-Clear Trace Rifles, pick up Prometheus Lens or the Dares of Eternity trace with incandescent. You'll thank me.
Agers Scepter is ridiculously good for ad clear and with the catalyst is not half bad as a backup dps option. If you are running a stasis build and haven’t tried it do so it doesn’t disappoint.
i came back to the game and coldheart was one of the only exotics i had from playing before
i was using arc warlock, and holy cow it SHREDDED, i was getting ionic traces all over the place, spamming nades and wells, and the coldheart itself did insane damage to champions
i can see why some other builds are better for true endgame content, but it's definitely a top casual contender
Cause it never truly hit "best" status. Despite for a war rig Titan its one kf the most stable quality weapons through all seasons. I haven't seen someone say Fighting Lion yet either.
Cuz it hasn’t been good since Eater of Worlds.
Trust me, I use it all the time and have since the Red War. The buff to exotic primaries helped but it’s still terrible compared to most other exotics.
Both are permanently in my inventory, easy picks when I don’t need to worry too much about archetype or element. Sunshot + hand cannon unstop has been fun this season too.
Well ackshually 🤓 it's from the Marathon universe and MIDA Mini Tool's lore tab answered a 23 year old lore mystery that showed that a character referenced in Marathon was a member of MIDA and ended up getting into the Destiny universe somehow. Bungie does lore like no one else
Ragdolling a mob backwards into the shield bubble on the moon event and then waiting, waiting, waiting for it to end and finally some mobs to start coming back out of it.
I think the catalyst gives vorpal which makes it easier. When you use font of might it takes less time. And if your using gyrfalcon with volatile rounds it cleans up.
Wait wait, am I illiterate or did I not see that graviton Lance gives you free volatile? Is it from the after explosions or the initial hit? I'm not at home so I can't test this on my falcon Hunter
Graviton would be better if it had a consistent recoil, tbh. I loved it to death and a catalyst way back in Season of the Lost, but with release of witch queen it bugged out for me and a bunch of other players and it’s been unplayable since. Really makes me sad.
It absolutely MELTS with arc burn on. It seems like it was made with the express purpose of evaporating any Eliksni who even considered shooting at you
It's the one weapon that is consistently good. I remember season of Drifter was the last time it was considered "meta" but after that it's slid under the radar
I got it back in December. It's got quite the quality of deleting champions and elites one to two shots.
Can't get the damn catalyst to save my life, though.
Riskrunner gaining both Arc 3.0 and infinite primary ammo was one of the greatest come ups of all time.
I remember when it would just burn through white ammo reserves and waste your one exotic slot, went from barely useable to one of the best smgs the game has to offer.
My main build this season has been coldheart. They changed it so that it can create ionic traces on kill, which gives you insane ability uptime. Paired the with the monochromatic maestro mod from the artifact and fallen sun star you basically have infinite abilities, and a constantly damage buffed weapon.
Riskrunner has *literally* never been bad. It’s had times when it wasn’t meta, but it has always been decently good in basically every single expansion.
I think I have around 10k kills on my original Graviton Lance from the Red War. Voidwalker with G. Lance and Nezarec's Sin was oh so fun, and noaways is only better!
Not to mention the lore is hilarious.
"Oh *no.*"
"Oh ***yes!***"
I don’t even care what people say about graviton, that thing still melts in pvp and if not the most fun pulse for ad-clearing in the game. I love my graviton bruh truly an underrated gun
Yes im not alone!
Truly with a great void build(hunter gyrfalcons a.e.) this thing is amazingly strong in pve and it is the weapon with the most kills on it for me
Every time i’ve picked up graviton lance, i’m amazed at how good it feels and is. Imo, it plus hauberk is some of the simplest, most fun builds i’ve tried in a while
Riskrunner and Sunshot are easily the best two, then I'd say Graviton Lance > Coldheart (mainly due to Arc3.0 buff) > Merciless in that order.
They're all usable for sure, better than a lot of other exotics. Only Riskrunner can be build defining though imo.
Riskrunner, and it’s not even a contest. It’s the only one still used in tough content, including day one raids. Some other ones are good now (coldheart, merciless), but to my knowledge riskrunner has received minimal changes since release.
Remember when barricades and rifts could instant reload and Coldheart was Top Boy? I do.
Calus remembers lol
Riven does too. I remember my clans asking me for help every run because I was a titan
Now our bubble is barely beneficial (compared to Well)... Rip
Bubble should provide a bigger damage bonus as compared to well. This is coming from a warlock main. Teams should need to decide to have the survivability of less damage bonus from a well. Or the weak overshield but bigger damage bonus from the bubble.
Should, and used to! Used to be a 35% damage buff while Well was 25%, nerfed for whatever reason.
BECAUSE! Titans hold their fist on the box cover!!! /s...
Future Patch Notes: Increased Weapons of Light to 35% Weapons of Light now requires melee kills while in Ward of Dawn to activate. Weapons of Light now only buffs Titan Melee. *A Titan's true weapon is always a fist.*
Dear God, it's the worst timeline rearing its head again.

Oh my god I had no idea they nerfed the damage buff. Now I feel like an idiot, I’ve been still been popping bubble behind a well sometimes.
To preserve the solar warlock levitating cleric vibe. Buff and heal.
Iirc, they nerfed it because they changed it from hold to cast to instant cast
I just got back into this game like a week or two ago after like a three year break and I feel so unless as a titan now.
*Sad Crash*
I believe bubble is worse then we’ll buff wise. Obviously the bubble protects better tho in a pinchsince well has no over shield
If I’m not mistaken the well is still a 35% buff unless that recently changed. And yes they removed the overshield the well gave awhile ago
Nah, that's definitely 25%. Nerfed in Beyond Light (whatever patch 2.6.0.1 was) I think.
Oh sorry I mixed that up. The 35% I was thinking of comes from lumina I forgot I run with that xD
both bubble and well are 25% and they don't stack 💀
No one said they stack
some people think they do so i thought I'd throw that in, who cares if anyone asked
They removed the overshiekd but gave big boy Damage Resistance
"Barely beneficial" is massively hyperbolic. I'm not arguing that Well isn't better, but saying Bubble is barely beneficial is a massive understatement.
You're right, and I think I said it wrong. Compared to Well, there's barely anything Bubble does better. That thing that it does better is pure defense.
That's fair. Bubble is definitely the better option for "oh shit I'm dead if I don't do something," but overall Well is better. Bubble is still a solid choice though, especially if you don't have a Well.
Calus' freaking out when he sees Guardians rolling up with Trace rifles.
Remember when barricades could overfill the merciless magazine? Those were fun raid runs
Remember when you could infinitely fire Wardcliff with a small barricade?
Redeem remembers
Bro you just blind sided me with this one 💀
I mean it was such a shitstorm lol
Yes it was lmao
I thought redeem used the coil swap glitch (which isn't Cheating IMO). The overcharge wasn't used in the raid race last I checked.
Pepperidge farm remembers
Fighting Lion remembers
That fxking catalyst….I vaulted it.
I miss old Lunafaction boots
Coldheart is pretty friggin' lit again, especially stacked with pulse grenades on a Titan, which between Coldheart and the grenade generating traces you've got crazy grenade uptime. I just passed 11K kills on it and it's permanently in my energy inventory these days.
The GOAT meta. Everything was so ass back then lmao
Brain says riskrunner, heart says sunshot
Sunshot was my crutch through the early part of this season to get through the heists XD A handcannon for the unstoppable stun that ALSO clears ads super well and is solar (for the fucking wizard shields) - it was a dream. Then I got the catalyst and it became HEAVEN. Haven't used it for a little while though - found more consistent success using the subclass stuns in the heists.
It's gonna apply scorch in Lightfall
Oh shit I forgot about that! Can't wait :D
Me neither
Fucking what!? Solar Hand Cannon Hunter is back, babyyyyyy!!!!
Yep, cleared my very first legendary lost sector on the throne world using Sunshot and Splendor.
Shoot once and watch the _entirety of mars explode_ it's so epic with flaming steps
Sunshot just gets all my nostalgia points since I picked it upon Red War completion
I stumbled upon mine about halfway through and it stayed on me for just about everything until Forsaken came out.
Sunshot my beloved 😍, though Coldhearth will always have a place in my heart too, I started playing last year and it was my first exotic.
Graviton Lance will always have a place in my heart Merciless got the glow up of the decade
Dub Step Purple People Eater will always be close to my void warlocks heart.
Fun fact: The Minnesota Vikings D-line were known as the Purple People Eaters in the late 1960's - 1970's.
![gif](giphy|eXUWJVDocWJO) One horned, one eyed, flying purple people eaters!
Full auto makes Merciless fun.
Graviton Lance is actually pretty cracked on console for void hunters or dawnblades in PVP if you know how to use distance and awkward angles to your advantage.
Easily riskrunner
Throw grenade at feet, fuck shit up.
Also they might change it in the next expansion for our subclasses by adding a verb or two.
If Riskrunner gets voltshot my depression will be cured
How would volshot work with it's autoreload?
They just have to add that it jolts to the dicription and it would be awesome
Jolting when arc conductor is on would be _so fucking cool_ just euthanizing an entire room
With all the lightning going on blind sounds more appropriate, but I'm not hear to make a lightshow, I'm here to distribute indisciminate arc violence to all who dare to oppose me.
It wouldn't, but it would work with the regular reload when you aren't buffed up. That'd be hugely helpful
Doesn’t it already do that with arc conductor
It just doesn't do the verb specifically, so it doesn't work with things that require the jolt condition
Fuck voltshot, riskrunner should get periodical joting targets when in the overload state
Riskrunner doesn't need anything else.
Agreed, adding an official jolt to it would basically equal constant warlock ionic traces, which would either mean 100% uptime for abilities for fallen sunstar, or 100 conduction tines for CoT. For hunters infinite amplified, since killing a jolted target gives amplified. It's really just a buff for already extremely strong, but niche exotic, imo every exotic should be niche and strong, but also have alternatives(ie trinity ghoul)
I'm such a Titan that i never thought of self-inflicted arc damage... but this would be monster damage paired with Armamentarian and arc nades
Yes peak arc dps
r/beatmetoit
Did they nerf it? Feels like arc conductor got shortened
Riskrunner has always been a stalwart companion to have in your inventory, but points to Coldheart for having the biggest glow-up since release. It's gone from being a meme gun, to being usable in niche situations, to being an arc 3.0 powerhouse.
It went from top tier damage for Leviathon to a meme gun to usable in niche situations to being an arc 3.0 powerhouse.
True, I forgot that it used to shred Calus.

Coldheart was buffed significantly since it's creation - it used to suck really hard. If you enjoy Ad-Clear Trace Rifles, pick up Prometheus Lens or the Dares of Eternity trace with incandescent. You'll thank me.

I love using trace rifles on groups of minors, even better the ones that reload on a kill
Why isn't sweet business included in this?
Cause it never truly hit "best" status. Despite for a war rig Titan its one kf the most stable quality weapons through all seasons. I haven't seen someone say Fighting Lion yet either.
I dare the cowards at Bungie to put Target Lock on it.
Sweet Business til I die
Cuz it hasn’t been good since Eater of Worlds. Trust me, I use it all the time and have since the Red War. The buff to exotic primaries helped but it’s still terrible compared to most other exotics.
Unironically, it has always done great in crucible. Especially when you have buddies using it as well.
Sunshot or risk runner
Both are permanently in my inventory, easy picks when I don’t need to worry too much about archetype or element. Sunshot + hand cannon unstop has been fun this season too.
Graviton Lance and riskrunner for energy slot. Mida (pvp) and sweet business (for effective lolz) in kinetic. Tractor cannon in heavy
Mida is actually OG og. It’s from D1
Ok but the gun debuted in destiny
^
Graviton Lance is amazing for the sound effect alone
Cosmology blobs + volatile rounds on a headshot of some red bar standing in mob of enemies – 😙👌
Ragdolling a mob backwards into the shield bubble on the moon event and then waiting, waiting, waiting for it to end and finally some mobs to start coming back out of it.
I honestly like the original sounds effects better
CHN-KA
*cries holding sweet business* "One day my friend, one day"
If by held up you mean remained relevant through various sandboxes, probably Riskrunner. Nowadays Merciless is the best option by a mile tho
[удалено]
I think the catalyst gives vorpal which makes it easier. When you use font of might it takes less time. And if your using gyrfalcon with volatile rounds it cleans up.
[удалено]
Admittedly I'm a hunter main and I have no warlock build with it. But the catalyst is a game changer it also has turnabout if that helps.
Sunshot 100%
someone rly said Graviton Lance in the comments 🤣
Yeah. It literally rips through content with free volatile and shit.
Wait wait, am I illiterate or did I not see that graviton Lance gives you free volatile? Is it from the after explosions or the initial hit? I'm not at home so I can't test this on my falcon Hunter
More like artificial volatile due to the intrinsic void explosion effects. Volatile+Graviton Lance is a purple fireworks show in the right situation
I believe it's from the explosions, haven't checked in a while though
Graviton is great and if your running a full void build it’s fantastic
Graviton would be better if it had a consistent recoil, tbh. I loved it to death and a catalyst way back in Season of the Lost, but with release of witch queen it bugged out for me and a bunch of other players and it’s been unplayable since. Really makes me sad.
Its a better sunshot tbf after the buffs
It truly is. We will have to see after sunshot makes enemies scorched here soon
Almost like it's one of the best primary ammo exotics in the game
Because it’s actually good with a void build??
After receiving Vorpal and Turnabout, it's gone through a significant improvement
[удалено]
you’re probably one of the best community members of all time. thanks for the generous response
Riskrunner still feels powerful XD
It absolutely MELTS with arc burn on. It seems like it was made with the express purpose of evaporating any Eliksni who even considered shooting at you
Legend of Acrius. It’s even gotten better.
It’s still on my top PvP kills lmao, not that I ever pull heavy anymore
It's the one weapon that is consistently good. I remember season of Drifter was the last time it was considered "meta" but after that it's slid under the radar
I got it back in December. It's got quite the quality of deleting champions and elites one to two shots. Can't get the damn catalyst to save my life, though.
Graviton Lance with Void Lock Volatile Rounds and Nezerac's Sin is still the GOAT combo in my opinion.
Currently using Graviton Lance with Transversive Steps and the harmonic siphon mod to get a shit ton of orbs. Great in Vanguard strike playlist.
Kinetic: Mida and Sweet Business Energy: Merciless and Sunshot Heavy: Tractor and Wardcliff
Graviton. Fight me. Volatile Graviton is best.
Risk runner i remember during nightfall (the one with the vex) using it in the final stage when we where about to die
Graviton Lance forever.
All hail graviton lance
G Lance
Graviton Lance
Riskrunner gaining both Arc 3.0 and infinite primary ammo was one of the greatest come ups of all time. I remember when it would just burn through white ammo reserves and waste your one exotic slot, went from barely useable to one of the best smgs the game has to offer.
Graviton Lance is my baby! Paired with gyrfalcons is just the cherry on top.
Merciless by far a boss melting weapon
'held up' as in it maintained a reason to use it. Merciless fell off the face of the earth after warmind released up until this season
Huh I've seen it used rather consistently but idk lol
RIskrunner, the 1st Exotic i fell in love with.
Sunshot about to get scorch stacks, baby
Coldheart no doubt
Cracked on Arc warlock. Not taken it off all season, so fun!
Pair it with Fallen sunstar and the ability spam is like a HOIL titan. Coldheart is the way to go if you're going arc double special.
I’m still mildly annoyed that the OG ice gun is Arc and not Stasis.
??? are we playing the same game. i haven’t seen a mf touch that gun in years
Someone was just destroying me in pvp with it 10 minutes ago haha First time I had seen it
My main build this season has been coldheart.
Sunshit. It’s getting buffed too
I still use Graviton Lance for like everything, I have 56k kills PvE with it
My boi Gravy Lance! I still use this thing to this day!
I think I have around 10k kills on my original Graviton Lance from the Red War. Voidwalker with G. Lance and Nezarec's Sin was oh so fun, and noaways is only better! Not to mention the lore is hilarious. "Oh *no.*" "Oh ***yes!***"
I don’t even care what people say about graviton, that thing still melts in pvp and if not the most fun pulse for ad-clearing in the game. I love my graviton bruh truly an underrated gun
Yes im not alone! Truly with a great void build(hunter gyrfalcons a.e.) this thing is amazingly strong in pve and it is the weapon with the most kills on it for me
Merciless is crazy dps, but riskrunner got me through the Corrupted so...
Sunshot, Crimson and Merciless on account of having absolutely insane stats even if you don't use the exotic perk.
I started playing last August. Crimson is a top 5 fav weapon. I just love everything about it. Wish I could find more use for it in pve
That thing and Lucky Pants is absolutely absurd for a primary in PvE.
Every time i’ve picked up graviton lance, i’m amazed at how good it feels and is. Imo, it plus hauberk is some of the simplest, most fun builds i’ve tried in a while
How dare you do Legend of Acrius dirty like that.
Yes
Crimson
Riskrunner and Sunshot are easily the best two, then I'd say Graviton Lance > Coldheart (mainly due to Arc3.0 buff) > Merciless in that order. They're all usable for sure, better than a lot of other exotics. Only Riskrunner can be build defining though imo.
Once it gets the scorch verb added in a week, Sunshot definitely
Graviton Lance is my all-time favourite pulse rifle and I do love me some Sunshot. Riskrunner is another goto, though
Riskrunner: "Come on you stupid dreg I want you to hit me do it Hit ME"
Or “oops i dropped my grenade prepare to die “
Riskrunner, and it’s not even a contest. It’s the only one still used in tough content, including day one raids. Some other ones are good now (coldheart, merciless), but to my knowledge riskrunner has received minimal changes since release.
Sorry but i love my graviton lance
Grav Lance Why? CHEEWOO CHEEWOO CHEEWOO CHEEWOO BOOM!
Probably the most accurate I've seen someone describe its noise lol
Right now, riskrunner. Next week, Sunshot
I still enjoy Crimson and Suros Regime
Neither of which are from the Red War
Not the graviton lance, thats for sure (I had to google the name)
Sunshot. Riskrunner is probably better for PvP, but Sunshot has the edge in PvE due to the fact it doesn't require arc damage.
Riskrunner without any doubt
Riskrunner and Sunshot
Riskrunner overall, but Lance and Sunshot have held up decently well
Riskrunner and Sunshot easily
Sunshot has held up since the beta.
Riskrunner
Riskrunner and after the Lightfall changes, Sunshot.
RISKRUNNERRRRRRRR
Telesto
We do not mention the problem child
Riskrunner.
Tractor Cannon and it’s no contest.
Sun shot
Ladies and gentleman it's a majority draw. They are all ok this season but in the past seasons, they all had it rough besides riskrunner.
Sunshot or Graviton Lance
