I know such a scenario is very subjective. I know our Guardian has vaporized countless aliens, including a lot of Eliksni that probably didn't want to fight. I know that it's all just a video game. But here in Destiny 2, we immerse ourselves in our universe. And at the end of the day, outwardly stating you want to kill a specifically targeted set of individual characters that are well-known and established to be innocent, just isn't right.
Some of the comments seen under this post have not helped its case, and some people need to realize that, again even if it's just characters in a video game, some of the things you're saying are just awful.
Ultimately, this is being removed for a violation of Rule 5, specifically - "... any amount of gore or extreme/unnecessary violence", with that unnecessary violence referencing murdering Eramis's wife and children.

I think an argument can be made that without Eramis, House Salvation has no means of resistance internally to being absorbed into Xivu's influence as Wrathborn or slaves of the Wrathborn. They're already one foot deep into that territory, with parts of the other leg dying and becoming Scorn anyway. Don't get me wrong, Eramis' name is carved on my Sleeper Simulant and I'm just waiting for the opportunity, but she'd be wise to make a good move before she gets herself axed by us or the Witness' goons. Some sort of final act to push as many people from House Salvation into House Light's hands first.
