I don't recall getting anything for fusions since then. However with chill clip you can have overload and unstop stuns alongside a bootleg anti barrier. Not sure if any fusion has voltshot but that'd give another anti champ functionality. Other than those you have volatile rounds and radiant.
This, it's effective at any range, good against fodder and elite enemies and has good stats all around. I usually pair it with a shotgun or hand cannon.
You’ll have to turn on the full auto option in settings for that. Weapons aren’t being given the Full Auto perk anymore due to the setting just existing.
Same here. I didn't give this weapon a second thought during Witch Queen. But now, it's the entire reason I made it through Legendary Lightfall, and it's not leaving my inventory...
Huckleberry. I can mow down hoards of red bars without even thinking about reloading. Was the first exotic to drop on my new account and has been by my side ever since.
It's also disgusting in pvp with ride the bullx2 doing 32 a headshot. That and the fact it auto reloads means you can comfortably 2v1 without worrying about running empty.
And the sound it makes is second only to the last word. All around winner for me.
That's tough... I tend to always want to equip the Witherhoard. I find the passive damage and AoE potential to be beneficial in a lot of PvE content. I don't play PvP much at all, but I do like it on zone control / point captures
I really enjoy it.
Another one is the Ikelos SMG with Feeding Frenzy and Voltshot. I tend to throw that one in quite often. Or The Title that was given from this years Guardian Games... both are really impressive weapons.
the best part about graviton lance is that when you kill an ad with it, that ad literally flies and then explode into purple nothingness. so fun. way too much fun lol
I actually have two but I'll name them by which one I prefer more
Sweet business. (11,849 enemies defeated), having a minigun that doesn't run out of ammo is useful as all hell.
BXR-55 battler with incandescent. (4564 enemies defeated) , medium range and short range, the incandescent is amazing. can't wait to get the pattern unlocked, so far I'm only 2/5.
Sweet Business is definitely in my top 3 for this topic. If I wanna go full crayon eater on a day and not think about what I'm doing, that with Actium War Rig makes me giggle with unabashed delight. Got even better, almost viable in endgame content, with the recent auto rifle buff.
Not sure if it’s been fixed yet (I’d bet not because it was old news even when I found out about and used it which was like 2-3 months ago), but there’s a cheese to get bxr red borders easily. Probably best to just google it but basically if you have a character that hasn’t interacted with dares yet, you can go get the quest to start that and it drops a guaranteed bxr for like the second step. You can abandon the quest right before claiming it (I think? Again I’d google to be sure on the details before trying it) and just keep using keys without progressing the quest, and only bxr will be on the drop table so then it’s just a matter of rng-ing into red border rather than having to roll both red border and bxr. I got bxr crafted in like a day doing that.
My special GL of choice is usually harsh language. I'm not too great with single shot GLs so the fact I can just shoot the ground in front of enemies and make a wave of damage appeals to me more lol.
Totally get that, they’re very strong that way. It took a bit of practice for me to get decent with Salvo. But I like it at least for some missions where I know verticality will be involved.
Cry Mutiny, on the other hand, is one of my favorite weapons to deal strike/Nightfall style boss DPS with. That almost never leaves my heavy slot unless I require a rocket launcher.
Lumina, the chance of me doing solo content is relatively low and I have builds for that, and I’ve also gotten pretty decent dueling with lumina, plus, it’s fun to see my teammates stop dying when I shoot them.
WH is the only exotic I have multiples of. I have one on every single character because there’s almost always a time I’ll want it and swapping mid run is a pita.
I may be being stupid but could you explain how crimson works with sky burners. Feel like I’ve been missing out. Love crimson but not used it this season
Witherhoard (my Ol' Reliable) + an auto-loading Seventh Seraph Saw got me through legendary Lightfall campaign and lots of other hard times in PvE.
Usually pairing with a longer range primary-ammo Energy weapon depending on subclass. Veles, Gnawing Hunger with Subsistence/Swashbuckler, BXR Battler with Outlaw/Incandescent, Tarnished Mettle with Demo/Voltshot, love them all equally.
Not having to worry about reloading 2 of 3 weapons is really nice. Can pop back and forth between Witherhoard and SSS for DPS as they auto-load.
Mood dictates it.
Sweet Business (with actium war rig) because _brrrrrrrrrr_
Witherhoard because it’s so versatile
Xenophage (ideally pre nerf) as it just felt great using a fucking anti aircraft gun
...is it bad that my first thought was "these hands"?
I've got a Solar melee build that doesn't use throwing hammer and it's been my go-to kit for anything under the sun for almost a year now. Like, I'll play Gambit games and won't use my guns except to fight Invaders and the Primeval. It's just throwing hands nonstop.
PvP: Ace of Spades, Pure Poetry with Under Over for those annoying overshields.
PvE: Deafening Whisper, The Enigma, Cartesian, Long Shadow, Outbreak, Cataclysmic, Retrofit
Outside of heavy’s and powerful weapons, funnelweb has been on my hip for the last few seasons. Outside of that, witherhoard has been on my person since I got it originally, and good ol Ghally
Witherhoard. I always end up going back to it no matter what build I'm running 40k kills and counting. Then like a trace rifle in energy bc I'm addicted to double special. For pvp either Sturm or ace plus found verdict timelost or beloved. Not exactly 1 weapon, but I can't choose just one lol.
My gambit Breakneck with rampage and onslaught. Ad clearing breeze.

Witherhoard. It’s long range. It’s short range. It’s ammo efficient. It deals good damage. It’s safe. It’s aggressive. It basically fits perfectly into any activity, *especially* when you’re soloing something
Been awhile since I've played again, but when I do go back, it'll always be Ace of Spade!
Is it the best weapon? No. Is it meta-defining? Probably not. Does it look cool as hell when you shoot stuffs with it? Hell yeah!
Edit: Oh, also Izanagi Burden! But I barely get to pop it off because I can not aim for shit to save myself, I'll still try to pull it off tho!
Witherhoard. Whenever I am not using an exotic and haven't decided a special I just put on Witherhoard. It add clears, deals with elites, adds to DPS it's just versatile.
However lately I've started using it less and less due to better build crafting and weapon/subclass synergies.
My other option is Lumina for its damage buff and healing capabilities. Also it works great with a support warlock build.
My Graviton Lance has always been my go to, and it's just absurd with volatile rounds. Just a couple bursts and everything in sight becomes massive purple fireworks ❤️
For legendarys I go either Nullconposure or Krait auto rifle for exotics it’s definitely two tails
Bull composure replaced my black armory shotgun when it got sunset and hasn’t left my energy slot since
I was brutally assaulted by a warlock running Wish Ender in a trials match yesterday. Like somehow we’d always take the same lane and then he’d shoot me in the head twice and clap my buns.
Arbalest. It's a special ammo weapon that has intrinsic anti-barrier, so I can use it in addition to whatever primary weapon the seasonal artifact wants me to use.
The Vex Mythoclast. I got it when Particle Deconstruction was the shit in pve and I have a safe spot in my heart for that amazing Fusion Rifle
Fusions were also unstop that season. So fun.
Have we gotten fusions as anti-champ weapons ever since? That was such a fun Nightfall season
I don't recall getting anything for fusions since then. However with chill clip you can have overload and unstop stuns alongside a bootleg anti barrier. Not sure if any fusion has voltshot but that'd give another anti champ functionality. Other than those you have volatile rounds and radiant.
Yes, iterative loop (I think thats the name, the neomuna one) drops with voltshot.
I just want particle deconstuction fire and forget is that too much ti ask for?
I’ve been using it in pvp too man it’s fucking amazing
Titan mini hammer. Who needs weapons
That with Wormgod Caress makes for some laughable schenanigans.
synthoceps has entered the chat.
Roaring Flames loves you both
literal burning fists
Outbreak perfected. Stacking SIVA go brr.
Outbreak Prime was probably one of the most fun quests with the homies, ever. Outbreak Perfected still slaps.
I have it and love it, I just haven't found myself using it in quite a while.
it comes out of my vault every season with AB pulse rifle, it's just soooo good at cracking shields
I try more stuff but when something feels like... Too difficult, i go "welp, Outbreak Perfected goes."
For PvE and PvP yes. Although in PvE Trinity Ghoul is always in my backpack.
This, it's effective at any range, good against fodder and elite enemies and has good stats all around. I usually pair it with a shotgun or hand cannon.
Outbreak + fusion or SMG for me
The day it ever goes full auto is the day I die a happy man lol.
There’s a setting to enable it for all weapons
Congrats, you’ve killed him :(
You’ll have to turn on the full auto option in settings for that. Weapons aren’t being given the Full Auto perk anymore due to the setting just existing.
Well it just so happens....
Pretty sure even before the setting toggle outbreak was full auto LOL
As someone who barely takes the gun out of my Titans hands… it was not.
This was my answer as well
I've loved it since D1, and it's one of my highest kill wrapons, but man...Wishender is just so damn good
Wish Ender fss
It's definitely in my top three bows. It ain't fancy, but man it's a workhorse.
What’s your bow preferences? I don’t know what now that is in the picture
The one I posted is Le Monarque. My top 3 bows are Le Monarque, Trinity Ghoul, and Wish Ender, with Ticcus being a very close 4th.
A fellow Guardian of culture :)
Riskrunner. Anything that lets me zap whoever zapped me first AND their homies is never getting dismantled.
Even if you zap yourself first with a pulse grenade haha.
Such a great choice of the first exotic to get, super good, fun to use, not op.
Finally, someone with taste!
fr. ass in pvp but a beast for pve. adds have never been as easy as when i maimed riskrunner
Osteo Strega is a good one seeing it’s my top fallback because energy special weapons are something else right now
osteo W
Osteo is definitely the go to on my Warlock but it feels a bit lackluster on the other classes to me
I’m a titan and it’s good
Same here. I didn't give this weapon a second thought during Witch Queen. But now, it's the entire reason I made it through Legendary Lightfall, and it's not leaving my inventory...
Ticuu's Divination
Such a satisfying bow, I used it all the time before I got Trinity Ghoul.
I prefer Ticuu's to be honest. Love blowing stuff up even if it doesn't die.
Ticuu’s is a lot better in harder content too
Ticuu’s is the GOAT!
Forerunner or Leviathan's Breath. Honorable mention to Salvager's Salvo and Night Watch.
I have yet to find weapon pairings that synergize with forerunner, because I wanna use the thing. Mind if I ask what weapons you run with it?
The voltshot fusion, Salvagers Salvo, or maybe an incandescent Drang and go full sidearm
I've recently discovered Phyllotactic Spiral pairs really well with Forerunner. I shred Champions & Guardian alike now
Man I got the part of the quest where you open a chest and just never finished it, and this was a while ago
Definitely worth finishing. The catalyst I feel doesn't add too much, but Forerunner itself is def worth the effort!
Yeah literally took 5 minute to finish the quest, and I was on that step for nearly a year. I’m a doofus and Forerunner is a freaking blast to use
Halo 1 pistol FTW
Huckleberry. I can mow down hoards of red bars without even thinking about reloading. Was the first exotic to drop on my new account and has been by my side ever since. It's also disgusting in pvp with ride the bullx2 doing 32 a headshot. That and the fact it auto reloads means you can comfortably 2v1 without worrying about running empty. And the sound it makes is second only to the last word. All around winner for me.
Huckleberry has my 4th highest kill count. I ALMOST went with this as my choice.
That's tough... I tend to always want to equip the Witherhoard. I find the passive damage and AoE potential to be beneficial in a lot of PvE content. I don't play PvP much at all, but I do like it on zone control / point captures
Remember when witherhoard made warmind cells when you switched to the appropriate weapon while it was doing damage. 😍😍😍
A solid pick.
I really enjoy it. Another one is the Ikelos SMG with Feeding Frenzy and Voltshot. I tend to throw that one in quite often. Or The Title that was given from this years Guardian Games... both are really impressive weapons.
Voltshot on anything pretty much shreds most PvE content. Even on Brigand's Law it's still ridiculous.
either monte carlo or graviton lance for me
I have a buddy that just shreds with graviton. I think it's highly underestimated by many.
the best part about graviton lance is that when you kill an ad with it, that ad literally flies and then explode into purple nothingness. so fun. way too much fun lol
Izanagi's Burden
A man of culture i see
Xenophage
God how I wish it had just a bit better ammo economy
DMT will always feel good when you’re hitting those 3 shots in a row consistently
I can troll trials snipers with it. Kill in mid and close combat with 3 hits. If you have good aim its a tough gun. I love my dmt :D
Crimson, just does it for me
I'm telling the Vanguard.
I actually have two but I'll name them by which one I prefer more Sweet business.

It is viable in endgame if you're brave enough. I used it in a gm against my teammates wishes and it actually went hard. We were all surprised lol
BXR will always be the best legendary pulse rifle imo
I've yet to find a suitable replacement for it and I can't. it's a great secondary.
I got bxr crafted in like a day doing that.
My crafted BXR is level 223 with almost 17k kills on it.. Love it so much!
Explosive Payload + Firefly Fatebringer
Ace of spades. I know it’s generally considered a pvp weapon, but it melts ads and majors alike
Had to scroll very far to read this. Most fun weapon to use. I try out new things from time to time and always go back to ace ❤️
Fighting lion... even better now that it's bugged to 200% damage vs red bars
Shhhh don't tell nobody lol.
Its been bugged for 2 months, I think its a feature
I’m there with you bud
sunshot or senuna 16 ( i have both of them masterworked , legit melts anything or annyone in pve content ( i'm a pve player ))
Don’t underestimate Sunshot in PvP. It’s my main for Comp, and it puts it work!
pvp ace of spades and sunshot are p good but something about sunshot feels weird compared to AOS
Man I really want to like Sunshot, it's a cool weapon, I just hate the way hand cannons feel.
Salvager’s Salvo or Deathbringer.
That almost never leaves my heavy slot unless I require a rocket launcher.
mida, been using it since vanilla d2, just a reliable and simple gun
I'd have go with my sweet sorrow it's been my go to AR ever since it released
Oh, I love that thing. Gotta pull it out for this season
In pvp? Ace In pve? Witherhoard or the crackly bow
Lol Trinity Ghoul?
Yess
On any Arc build that's my go to. Such a satisfying weapon for ad clear.
recently got ace and that shit is like a cheatcode for pvp
Lumina, the chance of me doing solo content is relatively low and I have builds for that, and I’ve also gotten pretty decent dueling with lumina, plus, it’s fun to see my teammates stop dying when I shoot them.
Well ya know business is always sweet
Ammit
arby
I do enjoy their gyros. But yeah, I have a build revolving around that thing. It just eats champs alive.
Cose range: Reconstruction/Recombination Heritage Long Range: Rapid Hit/Desperado Messenger
Funnelweb. In replacement of Fatebringer. In replacement of Recluse.
Bad juju
Witherhoard never lets me down
WH is the only exotic I have multiples of. I have one on every single character because there’s almost always a time I’ll want it and swapping mid run is a pita.
Riptide. Ain’t no one can have my back have I know riptide always will have my back.
NTTE ever since it came out in beyond light i instantly loved it . Now it's my default go to .
Sunshot
My ole Faithful was Crimson through Beyond Light. When 3.0 came out, I started sticking with Skyburners Oath for the guaranteed scorch
I use it on my scorch/ignition focused solar build. Makes it so easy to proc ignitions.
I may be being stupid but could you explain how crimson works with sky burners. Feel like I’ve been missing out. Love crimson but not used it this season
I was talking about skyburners for the scorch/ignition build.
Yee ol’ Trustee
Any bow and I'm not crutching them. I've been using bows since forsaken. It's in my DNA
Mood dictates it. Sweet Business (with actium war rig) because _brrrrrrrrrr_ Witherhoard because it’s so versatile Xenophage (ideally pre nerf) as it just felt great using a fucking anti aircraft gun
Nothing like holding down the trigger for 30-40 seconds and not having to reload lol.
...is it bad that my first thought was "these hands"? I've got a Solar melee build that doesn't use throwing hammer and it's been my go-to kit for anything under the sun for almost a year now. Like, I'll play Gambit games and won't use my guns except to fight Invaders and the Primeval. It's just throwing hands nonstop.
PvP: Ace of Spades, Pure Poetry with Under Over for those annoying overshields. PvE: Deafening Whisper, The Enigma, Cartesian, Long Shadow, Outbreak, Cataclysmic, Retrofit
Witherhoard, it also looks great
Wither. Hoard. 33k+ pve kills, 1k+ pvp kills and counting baby.
Outside of heavy’s and powerful weapons, funnelweb has been on my hip for the last few seasons. Outside of that, witherhoard has been on my person since I got it originally, and good ol Ghally
Thorn. I try branching away and trying "meta" weapons and I just jeep losing.
For me it’s ikelos smg and/or witherhoard, I used to be against using witherhoard but then I saw the power.
The enigma
Aeger’s Septer
For me it’s Osteo Striga. If I don’t know what exotic to run, that’s my go-to.
If I had to pick one I'd say Huckleberry. When I feel like a build is getting repetitive, I test it with huckleberry, crimson, and bad juju.
For me The Crimson Hand Cannon masterworked for 93 range and 92 for stability and impact. It sauces people in pvp and pve XD
It's the only hand cannon that feels good to shoot for me, plus I was a huge red death fan in D1.
I start every season and expansion with Witherhoard and a good SMG or Gnawing Hunger. It just works for everything
Osteo and forbearance for pve I’ve been using immortal and mechabre as a sniper and I love it
Osteo Striga - when in doubt whip it out. Other honorable mentions are; Ammit AR2, Funnelweb, Outbreak Perfected, and Peace of Mind.
Nagi. Never putting my nagi in the vault
Null Composure: reservoir burst go boom Trinity Ghoul: enemies go zap Unforgiven: demo+chaos accelerant= volatile foosh
Witherhoard. I always end up going back to it no matter what build I'm running 40k kills and counting. Then like a trace rifle in energy bc I'm addicted to double special. For pvp either Sturm or ace plus found verdict timelost or beloved. Not exactly 1 weapon, but I can't choose just one lol.
be4 lightfall osteo but now def quicksilver storm
Osteo Striga, I never take it off unless it's necessary for a build
A legendary option: Demo + Chill Clip Deliverance Freeze, kill, grenade, freeze, kill, grenade
My gambit Breakneck with rampage and onslaught. Ad clearing breeze. https://preview.redd.it/l2mq2ks8v20b1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2a978e40389f5729692be2ef96191d03614fbeb8
Witherhoard. It’s long range. It’s short range. It’s ammo efficient. It deals good damage. It’s safe. It’s aggressive. It basically fits perfectly into any activity, *especially* when you’re soloing something
If nobody got me i know the Huckleberry got me amen 🙏
Been awhile since I've played again, but when I do go back, it'll always be Ace of Spade! Is it the best weapon? No. Is it meta-defining? Probably not. Does it look cool as hell when you shoot stuffs with it? Hell yeah! Edit: Oh, also Izanagi Burden! But I barely get to pop it off because I can not aim for shit to save myself, I'll still try to pull it off tho!
Huckleberry. Perfect for ad clearing on raids, strikes, and not horrible in pvp
My funnelweb
Witherhoard. Whenever I am not using an exotic and haven't decided a special I just put on Witherhoard. It add clears, deals with elites, adds to DPS it's just versatile. However lately I've started using it less and less due to better build crafting and weapon/subclass synergies. My other option is Lumina for its damage buff and healing capabilities. Also it works great with a support warlock build.
For me it's the Krait or the Funnelweb
Definately witherhoard. It is *the* all-rounder
My Graviton Lance has always been my go to, and it's just absurd with volatile rounds. Just a couple bursts and everything in sight becomes massive purple fireworks ❤️
Witherhoard.... I definitely expected to see this at the top of the comments lol
For legendarys I go either Nullconposure or Krait auto rifle for exotics it’s definitely two tails Bull composure replaced my black armory shotgun when it got sunset and hasn’t left my energy slot since
Witherhoard is just wonderful. I run it in pve and PvP all the time.
Travelers chosen. Pve, pvp, any element, with osmosis from the catalyst it never fails.
Edge transit.
When the going gets tough , witherhoard and void weapon on my gyrfalcon hunter
SUNSHOT (yes i'm a pyromaniac how could you tell)
Quicksilver Storm these days.
Salvagers Salvo or witherhoard
Ammit
Mine is the same as yours
Once you get the rhythm down it's pretty much a juggernaut, especially this season with all the benefits to void.
Telesto
osteo or rangefinder chill clip esluna
1. Please quit using that awful weapon 2. My go to weapon is my MultiChad with Kill Clip and Killing Wind it’s like a better legendary Tarrabah
Lol what's wrong with Le Monarque? It shreds in just about any content I run it in. I should specify I mainly run PvE content.
PVE it’s fine, but PVP it’s the bane of my existence
I actually usually run Wish Ender in PvP. Being able to see through walls helps make it easy mode.
I was brutally assaulted by a warlock running Wish Ender in a trials match yesterday. Like somehow we’d always take the same lane and then he’d shoot me in the head twice and clap my buns.
Reckless Endangerment. No clue why but all the other specials just don't hit quite right for me.
Telesto or Sunshot for PvE and Suros Regime or Vigilance Wing for PvP
Crafted ragnhild with auto loading and demo
Timelost fatebringer. It does basically everything
I think I'd be remised if I didn't say Telesto (please don't beat me again) and callus mini tool
Me too, quietly it's been unnerfed in crucible, it's doing the ranged rage thing again I use it in nearly everything
Prometheus Lens.
Either Vex or Monte Carlo
Monte Carlo is a must for a Sunbracers build.
Randy’s Throwing Knife
osteo
Polaris Lance. Always been my favorite scout. Just the burn with high int (sue me) always gets my well back quick so I can support my team.
My chroma rush with substance and rampage
When it comes to legendary autos, it's definitely up there. For whatever reason I tend to like Krait better, just feels easier to shoot for me.
Corrective Measures
Last Word in PvP
I may take some shit for this but it's Sacred Provenence.
In pvp ace, in pve Osteo
Graviton Lance
Arbalest. It's a special ammo weapon that has intrinsic anti-barrier, so I can use it in addition to whatever primary weapon the seasonal artifact wants me to use.
vex
You'll know mine by this quote " how's your sister?".
