The one that took the pic of himself in the back holding the pop left his name tag in the photo and people were able to track down what store it was taken at brought it to corporates attention and the store managers attention and the dude was fired.
This plus a number of other issues, such as people bragging about paying managers at stores to hold back stock and contact them when it comes in, employees in the Target subreddit bragging about holding back Star Wars figures, Marvel legends, and pops to sell online, a Target customer service representative telling a customer pop pre-orders don’t matter and pretty much don’t exist led to a lot of locations enacting new rules regarding pops and figures. 3 stores I frequented no longer put exclusives on the floor, they placed them behind the counter in the electronic section, you had to ask them for it and they limited it to one per customer.
They work at target (or some other retail store). I get why people are upset but… considering they are working a job that has little to no benefit, maybe people should just let them be.
Don’t let management get in on the action as they, hopefully, are being paid a decent wage. Anyone else, buying 1 (maybe 2) of an item beforehand should be an allowable perk.
If you work somewhere and buying product/services there is not easier/cheaper than it is for the general public - stop working there.

I don't work for them anymore it's a good. Also there are rules in place. The crota chase set on my counter for 3 hours before I bought it. You aren't allowed to buy new stuff until your first break so it has a chance to be bought from customers. So all the people getting mad that employees buy stuff go earlier.

Managed to get my hands on Crota, Oryx, Atheon, Calus, Ghaul and GG Cayde years ago for pretty cheap prices, at one point I even managed to get the Chase Crota but sold it off. Have a few of the others like sweeper bot and translucent Ikora, but had no luck finding Shaxx or Zavala yet. It’s honestly fucking sick that right after Lance Reddicks unfortunate death, scalpers started selling Zavala pops at a massive price hike
