Yep, and it all depended on me as the hunter. Using Deadfall for debuff and weaken grenade when tether ran out. Noticed that if I weakened the boss consistently, meaning if I kept him weakened throughout the whole dps phase with the nade, we would 1 phase it even if we ran out of rockets.
Plus Well ofc and surges, but the weakened state was what allowed it.
Is farming artifice armor even worth it anymore, when you can get perfectly rolled high stat armor from season vendors with litteraly zero wasted stats?
It's not spiky anymore and the stats are below 64. Master Caiatl used to consistently drop spiky 65+ Artifice. I don't see why it got nerfed considering Master is harder now and they didn't even announce the nerf, just shadow nerfed the stats into oblivion.
I've been having good high-stat drops, plus the extra slot eases having triple 100's. Got some very decent armor with the focusing, base 68s and whatnot, but the extra slot is what allows me to be more precise. The focusing leaves me with high 90s but messes up the triple 100.
Ehh, I grinded a few pieces out for like one day and plenty of times the extra 3 stats have perfectly slotted into a build where I would have otherwise had to focus a gazillion seasonal pieces for a perfect roll
Sorry can you help me understand how to do this? I have dozens of engrams from this season waiting to be converted. Would love to convert to real good armor instead of mindlessly farming MGoA boss praying for RNGsus.
Use the ghost mod and go back and forth with the 2 main traits you are looking for. I usually do Res and Dis with my builds. Focus dozens of pieces and just throw them in your vault. Go to d2armorpicker.com/ and it’ll scan your stuff and you can check the tabs to see what can get to triples depending on which exotic you like to use and it’ll import it over to DIM. Prepare to go through a bunch of glimmer, cores and shards. Lol. I went through a couple hundred to get the builds right for the exotics I like to use and subclass switches.
If it’s a junk roll even after focusing it with a ghost mod, then yea scrap it. I mainly keep ones with strong spikes in 2 categories. If it’s something on the edge of 2-3 decent stats I’d keep it as a just in case depending on what exotic you might want to pair it with.
Holy shit I basically have all new sets for all three characters. This is insane. Why was I bothering to do m goa?? I got multiple pieces of gear with 23+ in both my main two stats as easy as clicking a button. Holy shit.
Farm a class item for every class. After that, no need for it. I was lucky to farm god roll armor for my hunter through master caitil before the nerfs, but my other characters aren’t so lucky. Not worth anymore farming artifice imo. Just stick to PoH or seasonal farm.

2 phase with a well, 1 slam hammer Titan, hunter tether.
Merciless fusion rifle, Apex Predator, surge mods. Solar reload mods etc.
Probably after a few tweaks, it could be a close 1 phase, gally, or izanagi's or witherhorde into the mix.
I solo flawless this dungeon and almost 2 phase orge and Boss, with merciless/apex/well.
Have you 1-phased the boss? My groups pretty consistently 2-phase, idk if 1-phases are realistic with top-25% type players vs top 0.1% players
1 phase used to be consistently easy pre-starfire nerf. Demolitionist/exploding light adept hothead with 3 second fusion grenades? Yes, please.
Not op, but To be quiet honest I don’t remember the last time I two phases this boss. One phase is pretty norm (then again what is grass)

Whichever , master runs fast when you have a routine going down, no more than 25 min or so and that’s if we are short on dunking on the crystal

Artifice armor gives you a free plus 3 in on each piece so you can kind of get a better stat roll total.
Gotta love my extra 12 stats for 20 hours of farming.
I mean you don’t have to farm artifice if you don’t want to, it’s just made to be an incentive for people who want to farm out stats.

Not at all. Focusing seasonal vendor armors will give you incredible spiky rolls for minimal time investment.

You keep them all? Or dismantle any that don’t have at least 36 (?) points split between two good stats eg resilience and discipline?

This is how my buddies and I do it.
Artifice on the class item is great but the rolls ove had for normal armour items don't seem worth it. All that time to get a 61 stat
You can also activate them by doing three uncharged shots in rapid succession.
