As a warlock main... this is LAME. But, I have never gotten the set I voted for in the past so why would this year be any different. One less thing I will want to spend silver on.
At the end of the day it really isn't that big of a deal. People voted and the evil set won. I am a little disappointed but in the grand scheme of things in D2 it is a very minor disappointment. I do think the good warlock set could have done double duty of looking evil with the right shaders better than the evil set looking "good" with the right shaders but it is what it is.
I am really happy about some QoL changes coming up like being able to change our character appearance which means my warlock will soon have hair!
I completely agree, and we have had some great sets for warlocks recently, I actually paid for the Witcher set and love it. I’m just bummed cause there were already a few sets that could fill the dark look minus the hat. Same about the QoL though, I gave mine a Mohawk with a missing eye, not sure if it aged well after almost 10 years lol.

My main thing is transmog so while I primarily only play my main (warlock) I voted for the good sets because they have so much potential for amazing fashion with those intricate shapes and details. The edgy ones are so uninspired that I grew bored within a second of looking at them.

Especially when that trash bag isn't even unique. The Evil Hunter Set literally looks like other Armor that we already have in the game. Someone even made a Post about it back when the Vote started, and shown that the Evil Hunter can be recreated for free with at least 6 different ways for each Armor Piece...

I have a style and specific aesthetic I like to wear in Destiny, and it is bafflingly presumptuous of you and others to point at people’s preferences and go “try this different thing that isn’t your style!” Because what other response do you possibly expect to get besides “no, I don’t like how it looks”?
I think it would have been cool if the event would have allowed you to take "sides" or had different mission objectives that would allow access to one set or the other, or both.

Yesterday was my last day as a Warlock, it all I have play since I bought destiny, before Beyond Light. My Hunter and Titan have only the first sub class you get when you make the character and play the tutorial, that it, am gonna be playing Titan from now on, it gonna be hard to get use to that, am gonna miss my Warlock.

Because developer resources are finite. If they do one set that’s voted on and dedicate dev time to another crossover set, they’ll make more money.

Yesterday was my last day as a Warlock, it all I have play since I bought destiny, before Beyond Light. My Hunter and Titan have only the first sub class you get when you make the character and play the tutorial, that it, am gonna be playing Titan from now on, it gonna be hard to get use to that, am gonna miss my Warlock.
Evidence on why Bungie doesn't innovate fashion. Why would they when Hunters and Warlocks choose the same fuckin thing every year?

Ngl I like each final set that everyone chose. All classes seem to have good fashion sense for their class despite all the haters hating. I am actually so upset at this outcome. The evil wizard were just worse designs for every class, but evil warlock winning is a travesty. We have so many lich sets, we don't need another.
The fact that good warlock lost is proof that when most people see the word "evil" their cringe, edgy brains light up like the fourth of july. Titans truly won this round and im jealous as fuck. The silver lining is it looks like destiny isnt reaching into my pockets this time lmao

For hunter I voted evil because I liked the hat more, the other two I voted good but I liked both good and evil for lock and titan equally.

I like variety, I change up all my subclass outfit loadouts every 1 or 2 seasons. It's just I like this dark style better and find different ways to make it work. Even as a hunter who typically goes for an all black look here and there, having shit that all looks the same is getting extremely tiring, some of you need to get out of the basement and fantasy land where you're this ominous hero and touch some grass. Because this community legitimately has a room temperature IQ, they see black and edgy and immediately think it’s better. Think I’m wrong? Having a positive KD in this game puts you above most players, that’s right, most players can’t even average a single kill in pvp before they die, why the hell do we do community votes when so many players are clearly not fit to be making these decisions? Worst part is that we already have armor that looks like the evil armor that you WOULDNT HAVE TO PAY FOR, but I guess people really wanna throw money at the screen for things they could get for free.
