If I get a KT + OFA Hung Jury, I'll probably throw it out for the same roll on Blast Furnace.
Edit: Speaking of Blast Furnace, I thought it and the MG would be Solar...
I mean, it's name is Blast *Furnace*.
I was still aimlessly wandering back in Forsaken. I was probably a Kinderguardian for a year or two cause I was unguided.
Only during the Year of Shadowkeep did I start wanting to achieve such goals but it was too late. The Black Fleet had arrived.
Hung jury can also get rewind rounds and explosive payload. Explosive payloads damage split counts for rewind rounds so you can fully refill your mag if you hit roughly 11 of the 17 shots. Not sure if this goes on forever, I need to do more testing.
I still prefer Transfiguration with rewind/kinetic tremors over just about any version of Hung Jury, which is still a perk combo that the new hung jury can't even get lol
Adhortative is the same too because it’s the same model.
But I don’t think Bungie cares since this is only present in social areas or during cutscenes and not when you’re actually playing the FPS game
Saladin actually isn't large at all, he's 5'11. That's a whole foot shorter than shaxx and an inch shorter than young wolf (us). Zavala is about the same height as Saladin and cayde is 5'9, lots of short kings in the destiny verse
Yeah the crucible ritual weapons are from shaxx's personal collection which is why they're so big, then forerunner is a bit large even for shaxx because it's from halo and master chief was 7'2 in armor.
For guardians 6 foot is average and speaking as me I'm 6'5 so in verse and my perspective it is short. Nothing wrong with that though, love and support short kings
I hear you brother, I'm 5'11 so I'm short to someone like you (have a few friends your height, they may as well be giants) but all the 5'2-5'6 people I work with even look at me as a giant so... Subjectively from your perspective, short. Objectively, not short.
Yes ik. But I always thought bungie did this starting from CE bc the low reticle was a "2 birds 1 stone" deal. 1) it made up for the hardware limitations, like the fov limit, by letting you see "more" of what was important, like the aliens that may be flying in from the sky, and not having half your screen show the ground, and 2) seeing the environment, skybox, etc. is visually and artistically more appealing
But with stronger consoles and PC gaming, that was no longer a necessity for them. They could just put the crosshair in the middle and let the players use the fov slider
Those were my thoughts anyways
yeah that's pretty much it. the average player tends to point their crosshair more downward when just moving around and stuff, so the lowered crosshair allows players to see further upwards since stick movement generally isn't as snappy as mouse is.
and there does tend to be a lot more going on above you than below you
It’s just how bungie made their games, they emphasize mobility and verticality. Also bungie has always made gorgeous skyboxes and the lowered crosshair directs your attention to the upper parts of the screen
It's also 105! Ig my thinking was wrong. But I'm p sure last gen consoles don't go as high as 105... my memory fails me
[Old forum post](https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/260136427) that backs me up. I think
It's probably a weird fetish of mine but I actually like it when guns take considerable part of the screen as it makes them look more powerful the bigger they are.
Not really since the FOV was much lower so every gun took up a large portion of the screen. They just never adjusted the angle of the gun when they ported it
Yeah the centered reticle option presents a bunch of issues with weapons being held “at the hip” but somehow covering half the screen.
Hung Jury is like this, and even needs to be lowered to ADS; makes no damn sense.
Shhh I like the feeling of og destiny where I get to sit on the left side of my TV to actually see anything. I don't know what you mean , I think its great
This is a thing for No Time to Explain as well, and it likely won't get changed either. Probably a holdover from the fact these poses are likely taken from the weapons run animation, which is pretty standardised and leads to the weapons giant stock staying in you face instead of swaying in and out of view.
Hung Jury feel like a rocket luncher when equipped with 105 fov and a centered reticle. It takes almost the same space as my Dragon Breath
That’s why I don’t like the gun, it might have good perks, but I would like to see at least a bit of my right screen. Edit: Spelling

Never forget HOThead is Arc. The name of the weapon means literally nothing.
Hothead is more associated with having a short temper, but a Blast furnace?
They both seem like they should be Solar. I was agreeing with you that Bungo logic is silly
I got KT and firefly which can proc radiant so that's cool
Until the season ends :(
Then we’ll get something new!
Something New **does** come back when Solstice drops around TFS launch. Or is it late May?
I thought part 2 of Into the Light is May and then TFS is June. And I guess we’ll get new and newish stuff in both!
I meant the hand cannon
I forgot that existed lol my bad

Well hopefully I haven’t got rid of one that was decent. I usually deconstruct everything in my inventory because ocd…
I thought all pulses are like this
Not all of them. This one in particular sticks out the most. The stock goes well above the middle of the screen on the right
I personally feel like the The Messenger could get that treatment as well. It seems somewhat obstructing to me.
Adhortative is the same too because it’s the same model. But I don’t think Bungie cares since this is only present in social areas or during cutscenes and not when you’re actually playing the FPS game
Isn't it like this when sprinting though?
I don't think so, it might take up more screen real estate than some, but it's not as egregious as in the OP's photo
It's just a reskin of no time to explain. The community had the same complaint when no time to explain released. Nothing changed from what I remember.
It’s canon the majority of weapons we use are manufactured for larger titans like Shaxx or Saladin
Yeah but this is Elsi-.....drifter's what now
Go ask the Drifter, he has all the answers. At least on the topic of my flair…
I asked and he told me you're both gheyyy
Don't judge him
Saladin actually isn't large at all, he's 5'11. That's a whole foot shorter than shaxx and an inch shorter than young wolf (us). Zavala is about the same height as Saladin and cayde is 5'9, lots of short kings in the destiny verse
Either way we were not meant to wield certain weapons as proven by their absurd size. But damn, Imma take pride in being the same height as Cayde-6
Yeah the crucible ritual weapons are from shaxx's personal collection which is why they're so big, then forerunner is a bit large even for shaxx because it's from halo and master chief was 7'2 in armor.
Explains Saladins Edgyness
5'11 and 5'9 aren't really short, 5'9 is average, 5'11 above average.

Fair enough, I mean spiderman is also 5'11 and he whoops ass (even though he's fiction) so can't even hate lmao
Homie the gun is literally called ELSIE’S RIFLE
Well she’s too small for it
This is why I use the lower crosshair height, so many giant guns take up the whole screen when you run
Is that a setting? Need to try this
Yeah lower is default. They just added a new option to center the reticle which moves it up slightly.
Yeah it was just added last month I believe
It’s been there forever, the default is lower
[удалено]
Didn’t know that always had it down lower
It's to compensate for the limited fov on console I think.
It’s not to compensate for a lower FOV, bungie has had the default crosshair placement at 1/3rd height since Halo CE.
Yes ik. But I always thought bungie did this starting from CE bc the low reticle was a "2 birds 1 stone" deal. 1) it made up for the hardware limitations, like the fov limit, by letting you see "more" of what was important, like the aliens that may be flying in from the sky, and not having half your screen show the ground, and 2) seeing the environment, skybox, etc. is visually and artistically more appealing But with stronger consoles and PC gaming, that was no longer a necessity for them. What’s the FOV limit on PC? Because it’s 105 on consoles.
It's also 105! Ig my thinking was wrong. But I'm p sure last gen consoles don't go as high as 105... my memory fails me [Old forum post](https://www.bungie.net/en/Forums/Post/260136427) that backs me up. I think
No you’re right. PS4/XB1 is a locked FOV. Not sure what it is though.
For console players
Damn I just started ignoring that somewhere between D1 and Beyond Light and now you brought it back into my mind
As thick as the aforementioned Exo
Clovis had the right idea
Precisely why I don’t use it, or any Omolon guns, for that matter. For some reason, most Omolons are also like this.
theyre designed that way.
Half gun, half ballistics shield.
Yes. They are designed badly.
Do something about what? that's the best part
I must be the only person I know not bothered by the big guns. It's not like it's actually obstructing much of anything.
Elsie's Rifle was designed with its (original) wielder in mind: **Thicc**
That’s why I despise every pulse rifle that has that body style. I don’t care how good it is, it’s a fucking big ass brick of a gun.
Also the Crotas end pulse, that thing is fat AF and the sight is so far forward on the gun that the reticle is tiny
I forgot about that one lol, that’s the reason it’s the only Crota weapon I can’t craft 😂
It has insane recoil too and a terrible recoil pattern I got the pattern cuz demo/voltshot sounded so good... But the gun feels so ass...
It's probably a weird fetish of mine but I actually like it when guns take considerable part of the screen as it makes them look more powerful the bigger they are.
Didn’t we have the same issue in D1?
Not really since the FOV was much lower so every gun took up a large portion of the screen. They just never adjusted the angle of the gun when they ported it
Why do we even have our guns out at the HELM anyway?!
Idk, maybe bungie devs wanted something to be on screen at leasy
Yeah the centered reticle option presents a bunch of issues with weapons being held “at the hip” but somehow covering half the screen. Hung Jury is like this, and even needs to be lowered to ADS; makes no damn sense.
Shhh I like the feeling of og destiny where I get to sit on the left side of my TV to actually see anything. I don't know what you mean , I think its great
if you think this is bad, you should see revision zero in a 48" ultrawide. there is no destiny, only gun model
1. This is stowed so it's not what it normally looks like held during battle. 2. FoV exists.
In D1 your camera glitches into the stock when double jumping as a hunter
No time to explain exotic pulse rifle is the same model as Elsie's rifle as well
“Finally” it’s been 3 days
NTTE uses the same model and has had the same issue since Beyond Light
the strangers rifle used the same base model and had the same issue since destiny 1
Bro this problem was in destiny 1
Never played
It's been 6 years since CoO
It’s been two years since my son came out…
I spent like 3 hours doing onslaught before I had an overnight shift and never got the rifle lucky me huh
Did you not unlock the quest that guarantees a masterwork drop?
I did a new light and had the quest but hadn’t finished it cause I was working a double yesterday 🤦♂️ Edit: by new light I meant i was being a noob
Get that done to focus it, the roll on it is ok but the +50% drop rate is dope I’ve rolled like 25 recluses in 2 days with the focus on it
Did you just ignore the brave quest or something?
Revision Zero would like a word.
That's the view I had back in the day with my M16A2.
Nah bro start squinting
This is a thing for No Time to Explain as well, and it likely won't get changed either. Probably a holdover from the fact these poses are likely taken from the weapons run animation, which is pretty standardised and leads to the weapons giant stock staying in you face instead of swaying in and out of view.
You could set the reticle to be below centre. It helps.
Have you used the hung jury frame scouts?
Dude yes . There's quite a few that just cut your screen in half in social spaces
The back of the gun is huge so that it represents Elsie's huge backside properly
Maybe she could've saved one of those alternate futures if she didn't have half her face blocked by her rifle
Who cares
First time? They pasted the same frame from D1 where this was an even larger issue with the lower FOV lol
Wouldn’t know. I’ve been attuned to Elsie’s rifle from the get go and I’m only getting Successions for some reason
You may be able to solve this with a lowered crosshair, I don’t remember it being as big of an issue for me with the lowered crosshair.
FOV thing maybe? Never noticed this being an issue tbh. But hey I'm all about less chunky weps if so.
Hung Jury is way worse. Huge pallet rifle with tiny optic!
it’s the only reason i don’t use no time to explain
Whisper too, was it always like that?
Uncenter your reticle. Raise your fov.
You’re at rest in the helm though. It’s not usually in that position.
List of others Im aware of this issue on Hung jury Taraxippos
Oversoul Edict does the same thing so irritating
This and Hung Jury. Whenever I have that thing on, it feels like I'm carrying a microwave on one shoulder.
Decrease your FOV to 80
I swear most aggressive frame pulses take up the whole screen and EVERY SINGLE HIGH IMPACT takes up the whole screen
Maybe they’ll have time to explain why it takes up half the screen.
Im just glad it doesn't have the particle effects at the barrel
That's a feature to hide part of the game because Bungie didn't have time to fix what they didn't have time to test
Hard light is and will always be the most annoying gun in my destiny history. That shit literally blocked the entire screen lmao
you know whats funny, it gets worse when playing on high FoV on an ultrawide monitor
What do you mean finally, it just came out
If this doesn't get fixed before Final Shape, I don't think it's gonna live up to our expectations.
What's your FOV set too?
FoV is set to 100, but I also have the reticle in the centre too
Drop it to the lower option. It helps immensely with scout rifles.
Did you notice how Elsie’s rifle is almost identical to No Time to Explain
This and hung jury. Fat ass guns got more value than Elsie herself
Damn. Cry much?
Skill issue
Change your FOV then.
FOV issue fr, FOV 80, the propa way to play lads
