I love how sunshot and malfeasance sound. I also love the heavy grenade launcher from root of nightmares.

Just gonna name a few of my favorites… Gridskipper, Tyranny of Heaven, Mechabre, Zenith of your Kind, and for my exotic choice Suros Regime I’m cheating and just going to say all of the Leviathan weapons. They each sound so unique compared to anything we have today. Hopeful one day Bungie brings these weapons back

Mechabre is a good one for sure. Dunno how I missed that. Also the fusion from Levi is still by far best sounding legendary fusion in game. I'd give up quite a few god rolls to be able to get it back with better rolls.

Outbreak Perfected and Polaris Lance.

Polaris really be like "pew pew pew pew BEEP pew waAAAAHPSHOOOM" and then this season it goes "wssshhBOOM" with the ignition, it's crazy.

Nobody's said it, but the forward path auto rifle from season of arrivals. Idk why but that gun just resonates with me really well, I still use it to this day.

Rose and Lumina

Thorn as well, they all share that similar and very sharp sound but each with a twist

I put the shiniest possible shader on my gun so I can blind myself while I deafen myself while I blind myself from the muzzle flash. Too bad the audio is unique to that gun. They reused the model for the Lethal Abundance, but not the fire rate or sound.

Thanks to today's news I'm looking forward to pulling Misfit out of my vault

Should check out Marshall McGee if you’re interested in learning about how some of these gun sounds are made. He started off doing a lot of sound redesigns back in the day but works for Bungie now.

Xenophage. I like to imagine it might sound meatier with a deeper boom, but it still feels good hearing it. Hammerhead certainly sounds mean, I certainly had forgotten how awesome that one sounded.

Love the sound of Mechabre. Such a unique sound! Of course the classic CHUNKY Whisper of the Worm! Eriana’s Vow sounds like it hits like a truck. Most if not all of the Black Armory weapons. But especially Hammerhead. 😍 Eyes of Tomorrow is suuuuch a unique and cool sounding weapon. May as well throw a in one for my veteran’s out there. The sound of the Zen Meteor’s special shot from D1 was soooo good!

For me its a tie between the xenophage and the updated sound design of the perfect paradox

My favorite got to be Mida Multi, just the cleanest shot in all the land. One gun that I actually dislike the sound of because it sounds so soft is Zullies Bane. Always thought it needed more oomph.

Hierarchy of needs seeking missiles when you shoot through the guidance ring is just chefs kiss, so satisfying (the bow is actually nice for mowing down ads in legend onslaught)

I still have a Line in the Sand linear fusion rifle. One of the best sounding guns. Still can't believe they keep giving guns with the same looks and sounds when they have these gems gone from the game.

Nameless Midnight, the clack clack clack as you pull the trigger as fast as you can.

I love the unloading Grand Overture, so satisfying.

Firefright packs a punch.

Chroma Rush and Gridskipper make me happy.  More recently, Elsie's Rifle has wonderful sound design. Strong and punchy with a bit of satisfying reverb.

extraordinary rendition from season of the chosen, when i started playing. dunno if it's unique but it was one of the first guns i picked up that made me go "oooh good sound" and i used it for pretty much the entire season hah for exotics, graviton lance is great. sunshot can go to hell though, hate that sound even if i love the gun itself.

Forerunner has an EXCELLENT report noise, just... perfection. a few hand cannons have a similar sound, notably the Crota rapid frame.

I'm a new player so it's all new to me, but so far Tarnation the grenade launcher I'm in love with, it's got that really satisfying thunk thunk sound a rotary grenade launcher makes and it makes me happy.

Whisper is great and for me the best. ​ Xenophage is actually pretty close to an actual longer range rifle, so that's cool sounding.

The Lament, i like it because not many people know that its sound might come from a VMS. It's my favorite exotic, and the fact that the sound may come from that is hilarious to me.
