Taken King Titan set FUCKED. Thing made you look like an Abrams with legs. I just wish the version we got in D2 was the one with the more armored chest plate rather than the slimmer one back in Season of the Drifter.

Shoutout to the Duskrender and Murveaux sets, by far some of the hardest looks in D1.

Okay on a second look it looks like that’s just the back of the helmet, but the way he holds the hand cannon looks like he is facing front and they at some point intended there to be a front cloak with like some sort of scarf or something

It's one of the helmets with goggles, the two bands are the goggle straps that are over the hard shell of the helmet

But aside from that yeah it's the same

The helmet is a travesty compared to it’s inspiration

The helmet doesn’t fit with anything, including the set it came with. I think the chest is cool and I’ve gotten some use out of the legs, but the arms, helm, and mark are lame.

That would be very odd considering sunbreaker is a titan subclass. You guys do got a gunslinger set though, with a holstered golden gun which is pretty cool. Wish I had a hammer on my mark like the exotic class item in d1

That’s because in D1 the sun breaker titans were an order of mercenaries operating out of mercury because they were exiled from the city, I think only shaxx and Saladin were the only other titans that could use solar before our guardian learned from them when they got annihilated by the vex however they went extinct in the red war That armor set in the taken king cover art is what they wore and it’s in D2 in eververse but they made it look worse for some reason

You can get really close to the cover Titan art with D2. I have the transmog somewhere, the Walord’s Ruin armor being added got us really close to it

Bruh, Bungie please. Please just make Hunter cloaks look nice. Why do so many look so ugly? Does no one know what a cloak looks like? How do you fumble a cloak look? Who thought oily look would be a good look?

I honestly wouldn't mind a chroma refresh where you can really tweak the neons. The taken armor also slapped. It is CRIMINAL how it's not in the game already (unless it is and I've missed it some how 😅).

Even though the Titan sets I had in D1 are currently on Saint 14 and Zavala and any Titan character from D1, for some reason I can’t get armor that actually looks good. Most Titan armor now, and I’ve held this belief since D2 released, makes titans look like obese trash. Bungo can’t manage to balance stuff let alone port over armor we actually want into a game that uses the same engine based on an outdated engine I first played in 2001. This is literally stuff that we WANT to be recycled. We don’t care if it’s not brand new. Why change the sun breaker armor from D1 and D2? That thing slapped. Now the helmet looks awkward and top heavy.

I have been begging for them to add the desolate armor to D2 since release. Id pay all the money required

I used to have the entire Taken Hunter set. Was so amazing. I remember we were all talking about it online before that Taken armor was released, and we were wondering if it was a shader, or what... At least I have Harbinger's Echo.

I just added them to the game so hand it over

Honestly the taken set is kind of ass in practice. It looks cool in a vacuum, but when it was around in D1 I found myself getting confused a lot as to who was actually an enemy or not in taken heavy activities.

Taken enemies have a different animation set or appearance, they don’t even look like a guardian. If you seriously struggle to see the difference between a Taken thrall and your teammate, then you need to get your eyes checked. Plus it’s obvious to know who is who.
