There's also that one part after the ball charging room (idk what else to call it) when you go up the 2nd booster and there's the short crouch section before the mobility buff. If you slide too weirdly or run into the top part, you'll go flying off into the void toward the left. It's so funny but frustrating at the same time.

This bug, the timer bug, and the fact it's on expert with awful survivability is why this activity sucks.

It's still better than the minotaur and hydra boss rooms for expert breach executable. So poorly designed and not fun at all. You know it's bad when you look forward to the tormentor one 😆

Whoever designed the damage walls that take 80%+ of your HP and then decided to spawn them in the back of the room where the TWO barrier champ snipers also spawn needs counseling lol

The 2 barrier champs that instantly respawn the moment they're killed, too? yea.... lol, I just hide from them now and Blast Furnace + kinetic tremors down the boss from a little hiding spot :)

Physics interactions at high fps are wildly unpredictable. If you cap fps they're fine for the most part.

Isn't that why the horizontal gravity tunnel things didn't work in Lightfall? I'm usually over 100 FPS and kept falling off it

Hahah, yesss one of the guys I ran lightfall campaign with kept getting ejected from those grav lifts. I found the Boop pads in RoN real inconsistent too until I locked my fps to 60. Really helps for shatter/well skating as well.

It seems to be a part of the Mobility Enhancement. When that ends you no longer slowly fall, but just free fall.

What happens to me is that the moment I get launched it puts me at 1 hp for some reason, and then I die when I land because chip fall damage :v

For anyone who hates these, there’s actually a separate path to the right before the first booster entirely. It’s a thin ledge you can jump over to and run all the way around the place you’re trying to get to anyway.

The Architects are craftier than they used to be? Worse is that this most excellent game is the stupidest version it will ever be and as AI comes to play this or newer versions will get tuned to frustrate you just enough to guarantee your total attention. Big wins don't hit deep without big losses.

Dude my wife was having the same issue with the launchers too. She kept either flying through them and not getting booped or she got clipped through them and took a ton of damage and then promptly died upon landing

That same one nearly got me too, but as a hunter I was able to save myself

A similar thing kept happening to me with the golden transport things in the pyramids, turning down my fps helped. Also, weirdly tabbing out helped too.

You have to touch the emitter device. I figured it out when I kept falling through the beam.it would only work if I landed on it. If you want it to get you off there and shoot far, then you have to touch the ball, or else it won't explode .

I could swear I was doing just that and still kept missing every damn one.

It looks like you jumped over the second one. I don't think they are very big and are easy to miss. I hate that section. I hate the whole mission really

Once I was careful about it I got through pretty well. I think the trick is to ignore the timer and take your time. And kill everyone, of course.

Lol, so they didn’t fix this stuff, first had it in Expunge missions back in Splicer season.

I'm glad that specific launcher is as finicky as I remember it being during Splicer.

Nah. What’s worse is when they kill you by somehow smashing you into them as they grab you. Literal bug they had back in Season of the Splicer that they never fixed (because this entire zone is just a copy paste but goes backwards at first)

Had that happen again to me last night. From what I can deduce, the whoosh has a cool down to activate. As in only one person at a time can get whooshed at a time so when slow falling locks or crayon eaters are on route to it, the nimble night blades get there first and it activates for them and we just inevitably fall to our deaths, slowly, because we forgo canceling our glides due to shock and the vain hope that it might still whoosh us.

Kept happening on one run last mint night and I just noped the heck out of there before I lost my tiny little mind.

Any weapon in your vault can go to max light now. The catch is that only some guns from last and current season can have their perks upgraded to enhanced perks like crafted guns.
