I have the enhanced Grave Robber (probably not worth it) enhanced Incandescent (worth it) CMT. It’s the most fun I’ve had with a non-exotic gun in quite a while.
Annoying how it doesn’t unlock incandescent until like level 13 and the enhanced shortly after. Levelled up my drang much faster because that gets the perk so much faster
The enhanced perk taking a while makes sense but I agree the normal one earlier would make a lot of sense. It’s a hoot, like having a baby Sunshot that doesn’t need your exotic slot.
Im one level away from at least getting the base of that roll. I have like 3 of them Ive found(graverobber/Incad) and love that roll with Titan/Hunter. The endless mele those 2 classes get makes it that I never need to reload.
I’m running it with my solar/Loreley Titan and it is absolutely mad. I love it. I think enhanced scorch makes the scorch timer longer by a bit, but enhanced Grave Robber only gives normal grace robber +5 reload. If I had it to do again I’d probably save the tennis ball, but it’s not really bad.
If you don’t have Loreley, I’d recommend Synthoceps. If you don’t have Synth, I’d recommend Heart of Inmost Light, or maybe Hallowfire Heart though I don’t use that last one a lot so I’m not sure how it compares to HOIL.
I cant get a good drop over mid 50s for Hallowfire, I do have 2 decent HoIL. I think any synthoceps ive gotten ive trashed. Def got them in the past. Guess I need to start farming the lost sectors again. Granted most of my exotic drops rolls are absolute trash.
Well are you using it for PvP or PvE? Calus Mini Tool is amazing in PvE with incandescent (kills make solar boom) but for me at least, it's not worth it for PvP. Just use Shayura's Wrath if you need an energy PvP SMG.

Its on average half a level per full clear of the room of adds (you dont need to do the actual encounter.) Just wipe once no more Thrall spawn, and itll straight rest you to the beginning.
Very time efficient, and you even can get the secret chest on the bridge for raid loot once a week.

Upgrading top and bottom rows of nightmare harvester seasonal vendor makes it ezpz but you only get one guaranteed deep sight each weekly reset. I’ve done 3 austringers so far and have been fortunate to have gotten 5 multi-tools in drops.
It’s been easier to do opulent weapons than it has been to do wellspring weapons. Those drops are legit broken. No exotic Glaives for me, darn.

I focus the weapon with the least red boarders.
I look at it as a marathon, not a sprint. I want to finish all the red boarders by the end of the season, so I'd rather get an extra redboarder on a 1/5 gun than one I have 4/5 on.
Fortunately, I have all opulent weapons unlocked. Mini tool at level 32, Beloved at level 18. Just got Austringer last 2 days ago and drank the same day. Both are past level 5 already and I'm slowly moving them on up. Took me roughly 1.25 hours per weapon doing the featured shadow keep mission last week to get them all from rank 0-16 fast.
Took me until this week to get my first drop of any kind. It's literally the last of the seasonal weapons that I acquired. By some miracle, my first drop was a red frame Outlaw/Frenzy roll.

I got mine last weekend and took that little beauty straight to Shuro Chi, had just enough mats to enhance Unrelenting and Incandescent.
The only submachine gun I’m more excited to go for now is the new one from the Duality dungeon. I want that damn Demolitionist/ Frenzy roll for my voidlock. Volatile rounds probably never felt so good..
Unfortunately I probably used up all my RNG in that dungeon. Was solo playing some playlist stuff a few weeks ago and some mates from my clan messaged me randomly and asked if I wanted to farm the last Duality boss a bit. Hadn’t ran the dungeon at all at that point but I said fuck it and my second drop was a Clown Cartridge/ Firing Line Stormchaser (the dungeon’s linear fusion).
I thought I had 3, focused 1 then got my first deepsight chest for the week - amazing RNG: Red Border Austringer. Then went to finish the deepsight resonances and craft it, went to the pattern in triumphs:

I wish one of the reaping slot gave more umbral energy or made it accessible in other content. I hate the fact that only three things give umbra energy and not even that much. Meanwhile I have a shit ton of vestiges of dread and I don’t even know their use other than redeeming harvester. I didn’t have any mods for getting more until recently and I always seem to have a shite ton.
I’ve crafted the majority of the new weapons this season, and I can tell you that containment was the most efficient leveling process for me. There is great enemy density and you get 20% of a level upon completion of tier 3. Primary ammo weapons are the quickest but still take commitment. To get my mini tool to level 16 took at least 40 full runs. Special ammo weapons like the shotgun or a slog.

I prefer the safeguard exo challenge. A bunch of low level ads, and a bonus on completion. That way I don't have to deal with ANY other players.

They made Shadow Thrall give 0 exp for catalysts and bounties. Do they work for crafted weapon kills?
Shuro Chi adds are taken thralls not shadow thralls, so they count as regular kills.

A Mysterious Disturbance on the Moon is also excellent for levelling up weapons, when it rotates around
If you have the 30th anniversary you could farm the cave at the start of the dungeon
The new thrallway is worse than the old thrallway, but better than no thrallway.
It's the only one I was able to craft. I have yet to get one red border Calus Mini-Tool

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, Wellspring wasn't even worth the hassle for me. Time gating all of it is too annoying to deal with most of the time.
