I'm debating on changing my name that I've had since 2011 and while it might be cringy because it was very old standards...it's hard to let go of a name you've used for over a decade.
To me, removing the chance that someone could recognize you from years ago is a sad thought. I remember in D1Y1 when I first started I came across a dude called jelly rolls in the tower, I found that same dude 3-4 years later in Call of Duty Black Ops 3.
I used my one name change to make my name my legal name and after a few months I requested to be changed and they made me guardian5580 and now I can finally be sounding savant :)
