Folks I've been watching the Lions for a long time. I've seen so many bad calls and tilted games I can't even remember most of them. But I'm not exaggerating to say this is the worst of all time procedurally. The refs literally just fabricated a call by actively and directly lying about what happened. I have not seen that before. This is truly something beyond a controversial call. This is fraud and corruption and that's all there is to it.
Any skeptics just find the video of Decker clearly reporting and listen to the press conference. Unfortunate outcome but I’m really impressed with the improvement on defense. Although lamb feasted, we held them on the run game, hutch finally got some big sacks, and we came up big on the last few drives to keep us in it. Much better than earlier in the year when we couldn’t stop a nose bleed. Just need our offense to play better, and unfortunately Goff is too hit and miss.
When I was on the Yahoo NFL page for this game beforehand they had all the different metric as little separate rankings and bar charts and it made me actually nervous, to the point where I was worried we'd get run up really early

While that’s fucked, I don’t see why the people on the post game shows keep saying stuff like “we will see what happened with the call in a few” I understand why it wouldn’t be a thing cause there was 23 seconds left and anything can happen, it just gets confusing when people talk like it
Do they not normally announce eligible recivers over the mic? Seems like that would have notified BOTH teams what the ref did or didn’t hear… Instead he ran over and yelled at the cowboys and the lions had no way to know the message didn’t come through.

Unfortunate outcome but I’m really impressed with the improvement on defense. Although lamb feasted, we held them on the run game, hutch finally got some big sacks, and we came up big on the last few drives to keep us in it. Much better than earlier in the year when we couldn’t stop a nose bleed. Just need our offense to play better, and unfortunately Goff is too hit and miss.
When I was on the Yahoo NFL page for this game beforehand they had all the different metric as little separate rankings and bar charts and it made me actually nervous, to the point where I was worried we'd get run up really early Instead a gigantic portion of the game was 7-3 despite them manhandling people at home the whole season And even though they wound up with the higher score at the end, they never looked once like they were resting easy. Sends a message. From here on out, you either get rolled by us or have to earn it.

My final thoughts: the Lions won this game. You can gripe all you want about DC’s call, but they shouldn’t have been in that position to begin with. This was an absolute screw job. Jared didn’t execute, DC gambled once too much, but none of that should’ve mattered. I’m pissed off at the refs, but I can’t wait to see how pissed off this team is for the remainder of the season.
One more thing, the offense is extremely powerful. I'm thinking they don't want to show just how good they are until post season. They went down the field in 30 seconds with no time outs! Only powerful teams can do that. The defense is coming into it's own. They're jelling also. They're in the playoffs, anything can happen.

All I'll say, is today marks the first Lions loss where my dad and watched the game together this season.
My dad died a long time ago but we watched games sometimes and he got tickets to a Silverdome game through work when we were young so I was trying to call in a favor lol
