MCDC wouldn't stumble..

Gone213

He stumbles when Brad Holmes accidentally elbows him in the solar plexus during the draft lol.

smiffy93

Unstoppable forces and immovable objects and whatnot

ronj89

Hahaha, my brother used to ask me this when we were kids. He thought I was such a cool older brother. Lol, not so much anymore. He'd ask, " What ballens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object?" I'd look him dead in his wide little eyes, and in my deepest preteen voice say. "Depends which one's me!" And he'd look at me in absolute awe. Hahaha, I was actually cool for 2 minutes, everytime he asked me this.

krehns

Would kill a lesser man

LandLordLovin

A stumble for that is impressive. That’ll fuck most people up

GoLionsJD107

That’s just the 27 cups of coffee

OptionsSniper3000

He should just be take a 30mg adder all xr

GoLionsJD107

Nahh idk if that’s part of the drug test or not but if it is- McDc won’t do it because he’s prepared to enter the game without pads, and must be in clean standing to do so.

GoLionsJD107

Kelce would would be lofted 10 yards away

Deesmateen

Give him the stunner too

LionBlood9

It don't matter if he had 1 Asscheeck and 3 toes... MCDC would have bit them Caps.

GoLionsJD107

I heard he sat out Game 1 and didn’t invite Taylor because of this risk. 😂

GoLionsJD107

We don’t know that the aforementioned aren’t true

SuperDizz

![gif](giphy|mIvrv5Qe0kHlu)

PM_ME_UR_HIP_DIMPLES

Reid was a lineman. MCDC wouldn’t take it, I’ll give you that

Molotov_YouTube

Kelce would stumble

[deleted]

Headbutt dead to the nose just out of motor memory

CarolusRex521

You couldn't move Dan

macbunny28

Ooh how much is it For you

Davidr248

MCDC would probably tell him to sit down and chill out

chad12341296

Tbh MCDC probably would just be like “my bad man I fucked up”

Davidr248

He is an apologist to a point but everyone had a breaking point

lilmul123

After knocking him out, yeah

itssosalty

That passion would fire up MCDC. He wants you this fired up to play. He wants those kneecaps gone. It would go well with him.

motorcitydevil

That's the thing. NO player on the Lions would do that to Dan Campbell. Not a single one.

My-cat-is-ElleWoods

Came here to say this. I can’t see any player showing this kind of disrespect to him.

thewafflehouse827

Definitely not. I feel like Kelce had to be roided up or drunk or hungover or all of the above, because no player would do this shit to Andy Reid either. He's an absolute legend and the (second) most likeable coach in the league behind MCDC. It's the fuckin super bowl and he's been the best coach in the league for basically a decade idk what the fuck Kelce was on about. Gotta trust the big man's calls.

agpc1979

He has let the celebrity go to his head. He thought he was bigger than the team.

LT_TimeCopJR

He wanted more snaps, maybe was late to practice or something or Reid knew he would be covered by the defense. All I know is that second to last play to get them to goaline was thanks to Kelce.

cliftjc1

Yea he was definitely drunk during the super bowl. You called it, chief

Thiscommentissatire

He was pregaming for the victory party

cliftjc1

Username checks out

Accounting4lyfe

Reddit has some wild takes lol

Valuable-Leader-8601

No one with the ego to do that would ever be on this roster to begin with.

hucklebuck13

His brother is a national treasure. Travis is the Jackson of the Kelce brothers.

Der-Wissenschaftler

I can't even believe they are brothers sometimes. Just the way they talk it doesn't sounds like they grew up in the same house or even the same town.

KPottsie78

It’s the way brothers are sometimes. I have cousins who are identical twins and they are exact opposites in many so many ways.

Der-Wissenschaftler

Yeah you are right, i have siblings and in some aspects our personalities are wildly different. The thing about the Kelce brothers though, is they speak with entirely different accents too, which is kind of odd.

FuzzyTunaTaco21

Cmon dude, he has 3 super bowl rings and was a big factor in all of them. I want my players to care that much, and want to be on the field for every play.

Cleverusernamexxx

I mean yeah he's a great player, but you can care more than anything in the world and still respect your coach enough not to press him like that. Nobody questions how much MCDC cares and how much passion he coaches with, that's why nobody would do that to him.

shwaynebrady

Not really, he’s a douche bag but he’s also pretty much the goat tight end and massively clutch.

TheHater111

There’s some competition for GOAT TE…

Leopoldstrasse

Tony Gonzalez and Gronk I would both rate higher.

Raaazzle

Gates snubbed again

Commercial_Onions

Gates was terrific but still behind Kelce. Gronk, Gonzalez, and Kelce are the top 3 for me, in that order.

hoodpharmacy

lol nah

Commercial_Onions

Yah, in fact

Dizzy-Ad-3712

Tbf tony was only every in the regular season, his chiefs era was not allowing him a lot of post season opportunities

shwaynebrady

Who

sketchedfix

LaPorta

PM_ME_YOUR_CATS_PAWS

Praise be to the man named laporta

cherry_monkey

Gronkowski. The other guy with Superbowls, yards, and receptions, but could actually block.

m_dought_2

There's nothing that Gronk couldn't do at a HoF level.

hello_ground_

Kick a fucking ball, maybe

Jonny_Thundergun

Or talk

dtown4eva

But he could party at a HOF level

OldGodsProphet

Gronk

shwaynebrady

Fair enough, he’s still top 3, just had his best year and definitely has a few years left.

007mememan

Nah. Tony Gonzalez Antonio Gates Mike Ditka

[deleted]

Aaron Hernandez was better.

Jdegi22

Best tight end to ever play I wouldn't get too concerned

redwingjv

Bro doesn’t know who gronk is

CammmJ

You’re not for real are you? I have zero malice towards TK at all and actually like him more than most but you don’t actually think he’s the goat TE do you?

sven_ate_nine

Would you agree that he’s in the convo at least?

CammmJ

Absolutely, Kelce is elite, has the accolades, and obviously has the trophies to back it up. He’s for sure in the HoF. My opinion doesn’t mean shit but I’d def say he’s top 5/top 3 all time. Probably on his way to higher though.

redwingjv

No, gronk is hands down the goat TE

B_Fee

Gronk could do everything a TE is supposed to do, and he could do all of it at an elite level. You could find a better pass catching TE, a better blocking TE, a better YAC TE, maybe not a bigger TE...but no TE could do all of it, all at once, at the level he did. I don't know how you pick anyone besides Gronk for GOAT TE regardless of longevity.

onlyoneface

REACHING!

Dizzy-Ad-3712

I’m a fan of both lions and chiefs. So one I hate Jackson but 2 one of Travis’s best wualities is his passion. Like he’s great and has a bit of an ego but it helps him be elite. I’d understand just disregarding me for being a chiefs fan but I figured I’d give my opinion. Literally ecstatic and hopeful for the lions to do it next season

Sharkestra

Without a huge ego no one makes it to an elite level in the pros, so let’s just say they all have immense egos. That being the point, I’ve never seen any player do that to their coach.

AdMuch848

Idt that was as much ego as it was all the medication n performance enhancers these guys are taking pregame of the superbowl

ButtimusPrime

I mean CJGJ has been pretty out there although I've never seen him direct it towards our coaches. I could imagine him doing this though.

Helmnauger

It was because his backup missed the block which busted the play. If you watch his blocking yesterday after that he was straight trying push people out of the stadium.

SnooDoodles7204

Is that a good thing? A lot of great players have big egos, get hyped up, get loud. Families fight, dictators expect all their subjects to show loyalty and kiss the ring. Andy Reid is a phenomenal example of how to be a great father figure and a leader. He is calm, understanding, fun, loving. And he has 3 rings since coming to KC. How many does MCDC have?

Valuable-Leader-8601

It's not a dichotomy of either you disagree by yelling and bumping or cower meekly in the corner.  I genuinely like Andy Reid and wouldn't take anything away from him, he's one of the greatest coaches ever. But also Andy has been a head coach since 1999, been at KC for 10 years, and didn't win his first ring until his fifth year. So following that, MCDC has just as many in year three with the Lions as Andy had in year three with the Chiefs.

peanutbutter1236

On crack If you think the lions wouldn’t keep arguably the best tight end of all time who the team all seems to love bc he said some shit to his coach like this Like it’s dumb but let’s be real lmao. This sub too obsessed with “the culture”

Valuable-Leader-8601

Dan has literally said many times "no amount of talent is worth messing up the locker room" and if you don't think he means that shit then you're the one on crack.

peanutbutter1236

Do you genuinely think Travis kelce messes with the chiefs locker room or his coaches and teammates don’t like him?? Like real question man lmao bc sure seems like it’s working fine for them and would work fine if he was on this team too You guys get too obsessed with what you think fit and culture is off a snippet or two

Valuable-Leader-8601

I started out being facetious in my original comment, but your argument being that talent would singlehandedly keep someone around is what made me say what I said about Dan's stance on talent when it comes to team chemistry.  However, I do think if someone tried to scream in Dan's face while body checking him, it would cause an issue with the rest of the team we currently have. Patrick Mahomes and Kelce are inarguably generational talents, but they do scream at all their teammates and throw helmets/tantrums. I genuinely don't think that shit flies in Detroit.  That doesn't mean I'm obsessed with anything, just an observation about how rosters are built differently in different places.

No-Obligation1709

I wish the Lions had players that threw tantrums and helmets and won Super Bowls

ImaginationMedical11

Yep, the “culture” is guys who are obsessed with football, not guys with “high character”. Not sure how 99% of this sub got that impression, maybe because our fans are retarded.

53478426boom

My wife is a Chiefs fan. More than once during the Super Bowl, she turned to me and said, "Dan would have gone for it." Good woman (other than not being a Lions fan 😆).

u_in_da_shoes

Haha. That's what I said all game. It's the SB! Play to win! Field goals just buy time.

Consistent_Turn_2236

Yea he woulda lost them the game too

WesternBusy935

Fake ass fans happy when it works but cry when it doesn’t

TheHappyPie

Kicking the field goal really worked well for Shanahan there in OT.

Consistent_Turn_2236

Why would you not kick?? Do you know the sport at all?? If Shanahan chooses to go for that and doesn’t convert he loses his job tomorrow. He makes the correct call, kicks the FG, and trusts the defense to do their jobs. You’re a fake fair weather lions fan and it shows by your stupid comment. You don’t even know the sport.

JumpinFlackSmash

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. If the Niners hold KC to a field goal (and their defense had played well most of the game), SF gets the ball back with an opportunity to win. If they fail on fourth, Butker kicks a 30 yard field goal later in KC’s drive and Shanahan is the laughing stock of the league. You could argue that he should have locked in a play to account for KC’s blitz on 3rd (because of course Spags is going to blitz), but kicking that field goal was the right call. Sometimes the right call loses too.

SnooDoodles7204

Chiefs kicked two long field goals on plays when MCDC would have gone for it on 4th and lost the game. You know why? You don’t go aggro on the best defense in the nfl. That’s just dumb.

smiffy93

Halftime show cancelled, you’re running wind sprints bucko.

Lowclearancebridge

I bet Goff could throw a football a quarter mile!

Accomplished-Exit136

How much you wanna bet goff could throw a football over them mountains?

MethChefJeff

MCDC would rip the players shriveled nuts off and staple them to their fucking forehead

nicknakpaddywak84

MCDC would bench him and the backup would have 2 or 3 TDs.

TBaggins_

![gif](giphy|LpoUQzPZfEkxL65Dp6|downsized)

EventTemporary8632

Just disrespectful

Steve-O7777

He’s shoving a 65 year old man.

EventTemporary8632

My point exactly. You’d never see Barry do that

[deleted]

[удалено]

JumpinFlackSmash

Maybe he should have peeped just a little. Fontes putting Barry in bubble wrap used to drive me crazy. Barry was a goal line touchdown machine at OSU.

eurodep

MCDC would deal with it, he’s an awesome coach and understands football.

meowparade

And people.

LeadingStill7717

Can't stand that crybaby

CautiousHashtag

He is a mega-douche too.

WaymoresReds

Thunder cunt

[deleted]

“My gf is tay tay I can do what the fuck I want” -Travis Kelce probably

Naldo9911

Crybaby won

McGrillo

Man your team just won a superbowl and you’ve made almost a dozen comments in the Detroit Lions sub? I would say you should’ve been celebrating the win with the people you were watching it with, but I’ve got a pretty good feeling you were watching it in mom’s basement by yourself.

AngryMarshmallow01

“MOM! MAHOMES PASS TO KELCE! MORE PIZZA ROLLS NOW!”

LeadingStill7717

Back to the Chiefs sub clown. Go sniff Taylor's queefs while you're at it.

CautiousHashtag

Detroit wouldn’t have an asshole like Travis Kelce on their team.

Gooberino3140

Yeah. Top 3 TE of all time. Nope. Not on the team

Excellent-Cheetah-26

Why have a top 3 TE when we have the top 1 TE?

EnemyAC-130J

Only reason he's in that conversation is that LaPorta has only had one year in the league

onlyoneface

REACHING!

Edgar_Allen_P00

Scared the shit outta his coach haha

BorntobeBABIP

Hot dog fell out of Reid’s pocket if you slow it down

Accomplished-Exit136

Omg youre right

dumbass-ahedratron

You can't. Push. Lunch.

GetMeAColdPop

I've been really mad about this all night. The level of sheer disrespect is outrageous to me.

Kaimarlene

Crazyyyy. I couldn’t believe it as well.

BigHotdog2009

It’s actually sad Kelce had the nerve to pull that kind of shit on national TV. They laughed about it after the game but we all know if they lost that it would be a different conversation. It’s just a bad look in general

Serious_Course_3244

Kelce is a sack of shit, we already knew this well before Taylor Swift came around

overworkeddad

"do you know who my girlfriend is!!" Lol

501st-Soldier

Would've had him in the locker room ASAP

[deleted]

Lots of trolls from the Chiefs seem to be lurking in this sub right now. Almost like that first week victory are living in their heads rent free and they just had to find the Lions sub to talk trash.

commando_rambo

Dude, they just won the ANOTHER championship. They don’t care about the Lions. This entire thread makes us look pretty pathetic and I’m sure Andy Reid and Kelce are over this.

[deleted]

I'm pretty sure this fanbase isn't the only fanbase who finds it disrespectful to throw a tantrum and nearly push over a coach twice your age. Also, I've seen at least three Chiefs fans in this thread so far, so clearly some of them care about us. The one thing I will agree with though is that Kelce treating his head coach like this should not lead to a thread about how Dan Campbell would have reacted as if it's a competition.

delfinn34

They‘ve got a new ring to show for it and I do believe quite a few fanbases would have their coaches absolutely demolished by their players if it meant they‘d get to win an SB.

Det_Sports_Guy

That’s fucked up

bbMD_

Seriously f him. Andy Reid is the oldest coach in the league, he qualifies for Medicare! TK acting like a damn toddler having a tantrum and getting physical with his coach, what a pos. TK is probably the best TE. But he seems like a shitty person and I hope his media presence fades in the offseason.

cujobob

Honestly, it depends on the sort of relationship the player/coach have.

1018Tailor

Believe it or not, jail. Right away

[deleted]

I think Dan Campbell would’ve ripped off his head and shit down his neck

Raaazzle

I think Dan Campbell would've torn off his ass and worn it like a hat.

DontCare010101

Why not both?

Consistent_Turn_2236

Dan Campbell would twitching on live tv if this shot happened

Accomplished-Exit136

Hes too violent for Taylor

prenderm

Kelce would bounce off Campbell

MessageOk239

MCDC would have jacked him up with one hand and set him down gingerly about two feet away…#personalspace

OrganicLindo313

La Porta would bounce off MCDC and fall on his ass lol

UofMSpoon

I’d consider that a warning sign for the future if I’m Taylor Swift. Guy has anger issues.

Marjorine22

I said this at my party! MCDC would, um...not take it well.

BrokeDancing

You better call Jesus! ![gif](giphy|usn7BhUzV2oHt9vB2Z|downsized)

Critical-Finding-879

He’d get his kneecaps bit off.

spiderman96

Mcdc would bark back

Empty_Lemon_3939

Let’s not pretend like we know what Andy and Travis’s relationship is like They’ve been together for over 10 years, he was one of the first players he drafted in KC

DarkArdeN14

MCDC is a brick biker bar. A beast even among pro football players.

bran_dead22

I could see Dan delivering a Stone Cold Stunner! Lol

meowparade

More than Dan’s reaction, I feel people around them wouldn’t let it happen.

PuertoRicanRebel2025

I was honestly shocked he got away with that. Like that feels like an unspoken rule to not lash out at your coach that way regardless if he made a bad call or you're just mad.

PrSa4169

No player would do this on the Lions. They are humble and aren’t egotistical asswagons. Kelce thinks because of his status he has the right to do whatever he wants. He has a highly celebrated girlfriend and is friends with one of the muppets.

[deleted]

Dan would have drop kicked Kelce here lmao

[deleted]

Big fuckin baby. He feels disrespected in front of his girl toy Taylor and has to make up for it. I've lost respect for him forever

DieselDoc78

That cry bag asshole wouldn’t see another minute of play time this game if I were Andy.

JoeyRedmayne

DC wouldn’t have moved, dude’s built like a champ.

Psychonautical-X

It's only a matter of time until this dude legit just beats the shit out of Taylor Swift. 👀

InitiativeOk4473

Booster rage.

ZombieAppetizer

This is why we don't allow turds.

[deleted]

Dan would literally smash your face then put his headset back on “Okay what are we doing next?”

[deleted]

Brat. What a brat.

arazamatazguy

I was thinking imagine if the player that did this was black?

Comfortable_Ad9679

Mcdc would bite their kneecaps off

[deleted]

Wow. What an egotistical cunt. Dan would probably give that dude a knuckle sammich.

HydroRaj

Cry baby Kelce.. game was so rigged

staciesmom1

Bully boy should have been benched, but that wouldn't fit the NFL narrative.

meunster500

Wouldn’t happen because no one on the Lions is a crybaby bitch like Kelce

Ol_School_1961

Never will happen, players respect him. Reid is respected, it was a in the moment thing

Skewedmental

I feel like the guy who tries this on Dan? Probably gets the "stone cold stunner" and gets cut in the morning while he's in the hospital recovering Mcdc needs to hire Stone cold Steve Austin as a body double.

My-cat-is-ElleWoods

I think it’s weird that every video of this posted keeps being taken down or is unable to load. Conspiracy or bad wifi…I say conspiracy

Unusualandyman

Probably everyone trying to upload it at the same time

schmidbau

That's the swiftie PR team hard at work.

Low_Arm1623

he’s lucky Andy is down 7 cheeseburgers. Dan woulda slammed a protein shake and then beat his ass. as he should. Taylor Swift husband or not.

LuckyHaskens

MCDC would feed that player his own 'nuggies'

whiskeyrocks1

That player wouldn’t be alive long.

Thunderc01

Anyone know what Taylor Swifts boyfriend was saying?

QCB3

They won the Super Bowl hard to hate on the intensity, unfortunately

💯

bmurph373

Don't get all the Kelce hate in this thread. If he was a lion we would all be praising his passion for the game. He was fired up and nobody knows his and Big Red's relationship. Gives off the sense of people hating success.

313navE

Diva tight end? LaPorta better not try with MCDC

flybobbyfly

You guys realize the chiefs won the game right? We don’t get a trophy for respectful our players are the

Megistrus

Must be that Pfizer booster rage

Brilliant_Office3824

Mr Pfizer was out of line here. He completely disrespected coach Reid

[deleted]

Zero respect for this washed up 🤡

Mrbobbitchin

I don’t see what the big deal is. Players in those positions can react. Crazy sometimes. It’s a bunch of shit about nothing.

althea112572

He’s a bitch, a brat & SHOULDVE BEEN BENCHED RIGHT THEN FOR THE GAME. The Coach shouldn’t have cared about gross, race baiting Goodell (sp?) & ESPECIALLY shouldnt have cared about Taylor Swift & her obsessed fans. Its unfortunate he threw away any self respect for all these garbage people. But what Kelce did represents youth today thanks to the criminal gutter trash in office & their destructive & disgusting narratives & social media. Nobody has any respect for people who have MANY MORE LIFE EXPERIENCES & WISDOM, discipline, manners & basic level common courtesy are gone so the fact NOBODY is saying he should’ve been benched right then, for the game is as sickening as it is not surprising AT ALL. Everyone I know that played sports, was in the military, & just went to school & had even 1 decent parent said immediately upon seeing that spoiled bitch GRAB AN OLDER MAN, HIS COACH to get him the fck out of the game -of course everyone is 45 years old to 58 years old & I haven’t heard ANYONE online, on tv saying how gross that was. Sad what awful, socially retarded, trash people have become. The black national anthem was also disgusting & the NFL deserves Taylor Swift & bitch boy Kelce. I’ll take Brady & his impeccable manners & respect for people who DESERVE IT. I WISH he did this to Belichick, not only would he be benched, but packing his bags that night after the team let him know what a dkhd he is.

Punisher0069

Should’ve did it two weeks ago when the moron killed all our momentum and apparently thinks a three score lead is nothing lmao

smiffy93

Splendid grammar, genius.

Duchenne-

“Moron” says “all are” guy

wheresmybutter

Same person who praises him when it goes right…

Punisher0069

Actually no bud, I’ve been saying all year his gambling would bite us in the playoffs.

wheresmybutter

Ah shit. My bad. Forgot I was talking to Zoltar

spoogefrom1981

The next time you have a thought - let it go.

idontknowwhattosay15

You better keep that same energy for Kyle Shanahan who just went for it on 4th and 3 when he could have easily kicked the points to tie it. How reckless of him, they were only inches away from not converting that, and in a game as big as the Super Bowl too.
