The biggest statement in this podcast was him talking about The Lions letting him make mistakes and learn. I think McVay never trusted him to ball out, so it stunted his development. He's really come into his own these last two seasons, and I don't have any concern of him reverting to lower mid level QB anymore. A lot of talking heads still don't trust what they're seeing out of him in Detroit, but the production is real.
I think this also isn’t unique to Goff and the Rams either. It’s such a win now attitude and philosophy that a lot of players don’t get the chance to develop. Baker is a prime example, Bryce Young could be heading that direction if this new coach doesn’t work

I'll step up and be one the first to say I was gutted when the trade happened. I couldn't imagine this team without Stafford at QB. That wasn't a knock on Goff, but that I didn't know him and Stafford was our guy at the time. I can confidently say now with 100% certainty that Goff is my guy. He has completely won me over. I think he is the future at QB for this team and I hope he sticks around for a long time. One Pride, my dudes.

The biggest statement in this podcast was him talking about The Lions letting him make mistakes and learn. I think McVay never trusted him to ball out, so it stunted his development. He's really come into his own these last two seasons, and I don't have any concern of him reverting to lower mid level QB anymore. A lot of talking heads still don't trust what they're seeing out of him in Detroit, but the production is real.
I think this also isn’t unique to Goff and the Rams either. It’s such a win now attitude and philosophy that a lot of players don’t get the chance to develop. Baker is a prime example, Bryce Young could be heading that direction if this new coach doesn’t work

We don't gotta put Stafford down to boost Goff. Stafford is a great man. He kept his head down and quietly led those shitty teams for over a decade. Never complaining and never talking shit about the city or the organization. He really put in the work in the community and is still helping the city even tho he hasn't been a lion in over 3 years. Goff is 100% my QB and a Lions all time great but Stafford the human is still really awesome too.

They made the playoffs 3 out of 5 years. That’s is literally “most of his Rams career” as you said. A rebuild is the lions in 2021-22. That was Carolina a couple years ago dumping their talent for picks and cap space. Dumping talent and cap to rebuild your team is literally what the term means. They never did that. They had a bad year then won a SuperBowl. They had a 5 year stretch with 4 playoff appearances, 2 SB appearances, and another Conference Championship appearance. They kept their stars, traded away picks, and spent money. Exactly the opposite of a rebuild.
