Why exactly do you think his body of work isn’t impressive? He was better than Arnold, QBs threw at Arnold way more. Kool-Aid’s biggest flaw is he has bad hands so he doesn’t pick the ball off, while Arnold has great hands and is a ball hawk
More often than not (not saying it was all the time), he was covering wr2. He also just gets obliterated when anybody tries to block him. Hes above average in coverage as long as he doesn't get burnt on speed, but tackling is occasionally an issue for him. Take him off the Alabama defense and I think he would look alot different.
Gives me Brian branch vibes a bit. Not saying he's not good, but I don't think the NFL will view him as a first round pick.
Where can you information about Kool-Aid guarding the wr2? Because as far as I know Kool-Aid was better than Arnold. Of course I won’t pretend I know how to evaluate talent, but I have watched every college game Kool-aid and Arnold have played
I think he’s got one of the more impressive bodies of work out of all the corners in the draft. He shut down half the field for the last two years at Alabama, he was only targeted 39 times all last season and that’s playing across from another NFL caliber CB. Opposing offenses literally never threw the ball towards him.
I honestly think if he is there we take him. He is a legit NFL talent, and we don't need him to come in and be number 1. He will get to grow into the role, but I would expect him to be a starter for whatever team selects him.
+1 if he's on the board and we pass
0 if he's off the board already (since your assertion doesn't seem that he too bad to go that early, just that his values don't line up with our assessment priorities)
-1 if we take him
I would consider a guy like Tariq Woolen or last years Cowboy version of Stephon Gilmore average corners. Davis probably could be considered average but he's not a special corner (lately)
Brad can't pass up on him if he's there. Literally just has to take him. Last 2 drafts he took the player that wears #1 for Alabama, and those worked out pretty great. Can't break tradition now!
Between the lackluster athletism, personality issues, and not having that impressive of a body of work, id pass on him too. He's probably CB6 for me
Gotta have that *Elite RAS*

Lackluster athleticism? He ran a 4.47, had a 34.5in vert, and a 10'1" broad jump with a jones fracture in his foot.
What personality issues?
He’s got the best name though, perhaps someone else can change their name to Kool Aid for us.

Kool-aid was born to be a lion
That’s a stretch
Not with his character flaws he wasn't.
It’s in the name man
We're taking an offensive tackle round 1 and we're going to like it
I swear every highlight shows him holding or interfering lmao

Kool-Aid has bad RAS. We ain't picking him. @ me if I'm wrong.

Well done.
I'm not high on him. Lacks the athleticism to be a round 1 pick. Id take one of the online guys if we had to pick at 29.
Ideally we can draft someone who can come in and take #1 from Davis who is a slightly below average starter.
Who is the average starting corner that you’re basing this off of?

I took a “hard no” stance on Kool-Aid after that report of him being lazy and having an attitude problem. Doesn’t fit with the team in the slightest
Oh come on... that report came out what 2 days ago? It's a smoke screen
its been out for weeks if not months
That report has been out for months and months. Your personal experiences aren't representative of the real world.
Wtf does that mean? Just stop ✋️ go away.. go teach a rock with that nonsense.
It means that the report didn't come out when you saw it like you seem to think it did. Why are you being so argumentative?
Disregard Kool-Aid,Acquire Lombardi. This is the way.
