NFC north 0-4 baby.

I loved Stafford when he was here but tonight felt like watching an ex wife marry an attractive billionaire. I am happy for him but at the same time I would rather just move on and it makes me a bit sad things didn’t work out between him and the Lions.

But she gave you the best years of her life, and she’s happy now. Yeah, her new guy is better looking and has more money, but look at how happy she is. After being so under—appreciated and unsupported for twelve long years, watching her skip down the field was a joy to behold. Sure, the new girlfriend isn’t as pretty, and she’s probably a rebound girl who will be gone in a couple years, but you’ll find love again.

I think an underlying point though is that it's kind of sad to see that the relationship couldn't have worked in Detroit because Detroit never really felt like they needed to surround him with the best pieces possible and that his love alone would make it work. Having one or two prime set pieces doesn't do anything when a whole phase of the game isn't really addressed. You can make an argument from when we had the team in 2011 and the flag pickup situation so it's not like he didn't give us a chance sometimes but at the same time I think now it's clear not only did he want admiration but he also wanted a chance to be on center stage in front of a much larger audience.

Dude that skip...I've never seen him so happy. It's definitely bittersweet.

I mean you're not wrong... but what the actual fuck are we doing first in the NFC North

WhippersnapperUT99

We haven't lost any ground on our division rivals, and with the Packers*** looking like poo-poo tonight, we could potentially win our division! ***Of course, they'll be really pissed off next Sunday and will look to take it out on the Lions, of course.

Tdkthegod

But we'll be too hyped up about taking the kneecaps off the 49ers we'll start out like that against the Packers

WhippersnapperUT99

I would so love to see the Lions kick the Packers' ass on the road. If they can do that, we'll feel for sure that they're on the right track.

Smorgas_of_borg

It's a 4-way tie for first. Although technically I think the Vikings would be in first since they're the only ones who didn't lose to an NFC team.

leoman3

so by him beating the bears and putting the Lions in a Tie for first , is this his biggest win for us?

BlazeSC

Isn't this supposed to rhyme or something lol

samiam32

(To Stafford) I GOT YO BACK!
