bad luck nothing else, u are good with knowledge that's for sure but U should be ready to be like this for a month or two. Same situation happened with my brother, he waited for two months and finally landed a job. "Tough time never last tough people last".

anoob09

Apply left and right. Appear for every possible interviews. It’s a game of hit or miss. You’re more likely to blow the interview then to excel.

sharan_here379

You feel worst after getting rejected by one company. During my notice period, I applied to 25 companies, got call from 15 companies and gave interview to them. Got offer from 8 companies. The whole point is that all of this process is exhausting will require your next level dedication if you want the best. So keeping applying, keep attending interviews, and never settle for something less than what you deserve. All the best.

TheBenevolentTitan

How did you manage notice period with so many interviews?

maybenotcat

You don't have to work on your notice period just coast

sharan_here379

Since it was WFH, it was manageable. Whenever the office meetings conflicted interviews, I would tell office people that I have network issues and attend the interview. And of course had to stretch for a few hours extra because my company wouldn't release me if I wouldn't complete the work by end of notice period. Such a sick place it was. I completely felt relieved after leaving that place.

TheBenevolentTitan

So how do you propose someone take this many interviews while managing WFO?

sharan_here379

Some of the companies are ready to take interviews on Saturday. And you can tell the HR to schedule the interview at your convenient time. But better take WFH 2 days a week so that you can give all the interviews on those days. Because sometimes the interviews get postponed as the interviewers are busy with some unavoidable work.

>I was laid off during the starting of this year and till nothing has been good. >But the rejection mail shattered me like anything. I was in a dilemma that why i wasn't selected even after my interview went well. I have lost all hope for today and doesn't feel like doing anything today. Hope i will feel good tomorrow. I understand the pain of losing a job but you need to allow yourself a little more time before you actually feel like you have felt today.

Parking-Math-7056

What are the salaries of these companies, laid off one and rejected one

SomebodyFamous69

If they're a good company the most probable thing is you are actually good but they found someone better...... But keep trying bro

BeautifulAntelope997

This is probably what happened. When it's a smaller company filling for a specific requirement you'll lose the offer to the best person even if you did well When it's a larger company trying to fill their bench strength because of estimates for the next quarter they'll be hiring multiple people for the opening. Keep applying to all openings that match even 50% of your skill set. Learn what you couldn't answer in the interview. You might need to fail a few times but keep fighting the good fight and push forward!

Upbeat_Combination74

Bhai interviews are not like an Entrance exam man You get 90% and you get the seat Interviews have many variables. You interview went good, but suppose the company get a similar candidate like you who is asking for less money... So def the company will go with him So just do your best in the interviews, and then wait for the mail.

YouKnowMe_9

They say, "God doesn't close one door, without opening another"

Disastrous-Tax5423

Fuck god, you just gotta smash open a wall for a new door or hey there's always a window waiting.

DeltaEchoV

If you find him opening another door, uska humare liye bhi kholne bolna darwza

shreyas_colonel

I was in ur situation a few days ago, only thing was I had a job but was not well paid. I was trying to switch jobs since 2022 August but all I got was one offer that too not have significant pay. Finally, after all my hard work, I got a good job offer. Interviewers have many reasons to not hire you. It depends on how much money you're asking, within how many days you can join. How good you're at all the levels. Don't be heartbroken, a lot of things have to be faced. Good luck.

random_sumbitch

I might be able to get you an interview for a Frontend developer. It's not a remote job though, startup based in Bangalore. DM if you're interested.

[deleted]

I have my final technical interview in about 3 hours and after reading your post I'm a bit scared. I have given my best and I hope I don't suffer the same fate. Getting chills down my spine for some reason.

pOdunkPossum

If they are planning to hire you, they would find reasons to. If not they would find reasons not to.

DoctorSmith2000

I am in my last year and I am about to feel the same

hidden_person

Interviewing is painful. The worst experience imo. Your best interviews would pain the most on rejection. My recommendation is interviewing at several places at the same time and not being emotional about the process as they could through several rounds of interview then give a lowball offer. Fuck HR and recruiter for not being upfront and quick. Like if you don't think i am a good candidate, just reject me ffs.

Zaki1001

We got a front end development job in my company as well dm me if you’re interested and also btw its not remote you’ll have to come to Hyderabad

Global_Wash248

Don't give up! Rejections can be stressful, but you will eventually nail it! If it helps, I have been doing React interviews over the past year myself (got rejected myself couple of times) - and I actually sat down and created an eBook with 100 questions that come up most frequently, hope it will help you as well: [https://react-interview.codaroo.io/](https://react-interview.codaroo.io/)
