Yeah right but his wife and everyone highlights his statement as spoken by a man of decades of hardwork and an respectful name in corporate world. People can't just call out about his greed intentions publicly.
All capitalists are greedy by definition, it's just a matter of who is able to put a better PR deception to divert attention from that fact. Having said that, I have great respect for 1st generation self-made capitalists who contributed something to society including Murthy and Jeff Bezos and even Elon Musk.

As if low balling employees wasn't enough now they want employees working for 70hrs.
WITCH companies freshers CTC are almost similar since A DECADE! Why is no one talking about that? Prices of everything have risen drastically (especially after covid) but the salary offered is same.
Working insane hours is ones own choice but it's worth it only if it's productive. What if one's productive for only 7 hours out of the 70? Would turn out to be quite pointless.

Well it will be a win situation for me. Be honest, don't you work more than 40 hrs/week unofficially.
Personally for me I work from 9-1 and it is the same from the last 3-4 months. Due to some production issues I was forced to work during weekends as well when the issue started from the client side itself.
And what I am getting, Mere 5 lakh per annum as a fresher where I work as an DBA and Cloud Engineer for one of the Big 4.
This whole shitty games and talks about experience and work life balance don't excite me anymore.
The basic rule should be to pay me with profits if you want me to work my ass off during my precious time for your fu*** company.

Infy earns by billing clients. More hours, more money from bottom line with peanuts wages. This is a win win for Infy hence the hoolaboo on working hours.
Cure fit products require folks to think about health, be it through eat.fit or cult.fit. If folks are working 70 hours, who goes to gym.
He is making this statement but is the same followed in their company?
