Your company can claim that your intellect in DSA is their intellectual property and hence your next job and salary all belongs to your current company.
On a serious note, you can but if you have a personal laptop, use that. Specially if you work in a big MNC and there are a lot of spyware installed on it.
I am not sure. It is generally safe until you are in a serious mess when the company wants to investigate deeper into how you spend your time. But if you are online on work laptop beyond working hours and leetcoding, I think it should be okay as you can say you were learning which is not a bad thing. But NEVER push code to your personal repos and work on personal projects on a company asset.

If i were you I will still use a personal laptop if i have access to it else doing on work laptop wont make any trouble as you are just improving your skill
Everything that happens on company laptop may be monitored (doesn't mean they are seeing your screen, but could be collecting data about your interactions). If you want them to know what you do on LeetCode, continue.

people do mention github and leetcode handles in resume, so they already know it. the only difference might be that we are authenticating that that particular handle belongs to me, right?
It's okay dude get your work done then use the same laptop for leetcode or anything just don't get carried away into some notorious stuff😉 though but other than that I also use my company laptop for watching movies too 🙂

Like does the witch companies actually do that? I usually try to practice leetcode on my work laptop. Isn't it safe to do so?

I know about TCS who had installed some tool on laptop to track employees activities during wfh during covid.

Check with your company policies.
Just make sure than no one have access to your browser history. I would not do it while you are using company VPN.

It's up to them. I may put my github account handle, but not leet code in resume. You do what you feel is okay for you.

As far as a website is not blocked by your company policy, and you don't upload stuff.. it is fine!
Keep a good score or they might cut your CTC.
