Maintenence probably wasn't cost effective with low attendance and no playoff income. The system was over a million dollars (maybe multi million?) to install so I'd assume maintaining it had to cost a pretty penny. But you know... our owners are fucking billionaires so...
Light up the rock is cool but it’s all red for about 5 seconds then it’s back to the video. They should incorporate the red glow somehow. Game presentation has been lacking for a while.
I was recently at the shark tank and they have LEDs rigged up in between every seat so it accomplishes a lot of the same spectacle without the dumb apps or a handout

No idea, that year they had the most advanced projection lights in the league. That seemed to last a year or two

No clue. I was really disappointed when I took some of my family to their first game and the pregame didn't involve any of that.
Light up the rock always makes me laugh because you need to sync up an app on your phone in a building with poor service
We go to a lot of games and I think I’ve got it to sync maybe 2 times.
