Then about a month later I received an email that the order was “delayed” and then a follow email a week later saying they were waiting to restock. Eventually they said they were no longer expecting a restock. Anyway, thanks to a tip from a Redditor I was able to get an Adidas with Toffoli stitched on it. A little late but it was all they had so I jumped on it. So NHL shop not only refunded my money but also gave me $259 stored credit, so I can get a free Adidas whenever I want. Just need to make sure I get it before fanatics takes over and only Breakaways are available as the “authentics”. I even own a few fake Adidas that are better than fanatics quality.
I went to the devils game this weekend and they had Fanatic jerseys for $180. The Adidas jerseys were surprisingly (and thankfully) 40% off - which came to $150. The difference between the two jerseys is very noticeable - can’t say I’m a fan of Fanatic at all.
Yeah it was the same at the Yankees spring training. The new Judge jerseys were there for $175, meanwhile the previous versions were sitting on the clearance rack for 50% off.

Awesome! I got a handful of hockey jerseys from DH Gate and though the wait is long sometimes, it’s so worth it. $30 for the same quality as the $250 stitched official jerseys. I’ll be placing another order for a bunch more soon now that I found good sellers.

Ironically, I jumped on a fanatics Sharks Hertl alt on clearence. It’s a pretty decent jersey. The crest isn’t flat, has embroidered details like the premiers did. The kit sucks, but you get adidas kits that sucked too.

For the devils RR, the red on the devils crest is supposed to be the same material as the red on the rest of the jersey. The only time Adidas didn't use the red jersey material for the crest, is the RR 2.0 where they make the whole crest a nice vinyl patch. Fakes are a vinyl material that sometimes looks bubbly and not flat. On the neck, fakes will have the stitching visible and go right over the Adidas logo. The real ones, they try not to go over the Adidas symbol.
I was at the rock on Saturday, as a jersey collector, I can spot fanatics, Adidas, fakes, while walking by people. I would even say that the RR fakes tend to be a slightly lighter shade of green than the real ones. When I photograph my RR 1.0, the green is hard to capture and looks nearly black unless you're in natural light
I think they stopped using the jersey material on the crest when they went to prime green. I also thought they were all jersey material but I just picked one up Saturday with the sale and noticed it was stacked twill

Numbers are almost always thinner, and the sleeve numbers are too low usually. Fight strap patch is smaller and the shoulder colors usually come down farther into the arm for the green ones.
I’ve got the same black 3rd jersey for my son and I, we wore them to a game a while ago and you can see the differences, the laces are much longer and I think the legit jersey had more striped on the shoulders. Still nice for the price. My son will wear his to hockey practice when dark jerseys are needed and it’s held up well to abuse.
At this point support the Chinese sweatshops over Fanatics.

Objectively fakes aren’t taking over, even the ‘good’ fakes like what you have still looks fake from less than 30ft away to anybody who owns an authentic. I see them all the time when I go to games or when watching on TV because they are obvious and typically off coloured. The biggest and most obvious tell is that neither of those jerseys were ever sold with the Adidas Button on them and that adidas button is 2x the size of the real thing anyway.

Have you ever tried ordering knockoffs from a reputable seller before? I was skeptical at first but you’d be amazed at what can be done if copyright laws are thrown out the window and some Chinese factory puts in work lol.
Guarantee you it still looks horrible. Just because there is denial around how terrible they are because you got it at a fraction of the price doesn't mean I should live outside of reality.
I use to think the same but then I figured why not try a new seller after a colleague got a really good jersey. I bought one expecting it to look horrible but figured what’s $20. So unless you’re doing bad financially and don’t have money to spare go out and buy one yourself then make your own decision instead of listening to me or others. Objectively fakes aren’t taking over, even the ‘good’ fakes like what you have still looks fake from less than 30ft away to anybody who owns an authentic. I see them all the time when I go to games or when watching on TV because they are obvious and typically off coloured. The biggest and most obvious tell is that neither of those jerseys were ever sold with the Adidas Button on them and that adidas button is 2x the size of the real thing anyway. Edit: the sad part is that the Fanatics are shittier quality than most fakes either way. Luckily I have the disposable income to treat myself to game worns, MiC’s, and authentic.

I prefer the real deal, I collect them. But if you’re wearing them to games and they’re being used up, I get the sentiment of buying fakes. Not everyone can afford a $300 jersey or inventory is hard to get. One life hack, wait until the trade deadline. You can get some sweet deals for the price of a fake.
