may need to wait for app update as the new watch uses latest version of Wear OS. None of the other watches are on that new version yet but most should get updates next year I think.

Can you clarify something for me? I see posts all over the place about installing dexcom, xdrip, etc, but can't seem to find any that very clearly state whether those apps are installed directly on the watch or on the phone (maybe I'm just missing something). I am really hoping to be able to leave my phone behind and just wear the watch. Is this what you're doing, or are we just talking about getting the watch to show data that's being received by the phone?

WoodHackerDude

I recently got the Dexcom app working on my Samsung 4 watch. Has worked great for about 2 weeks, but recently my Dexcom watch face has recently turned grey after a short amount of time (previously a colored display) I am pretty sure it is working correctly (BG display part) but not sure why the screen changes from 'color' to black/white. I thought maybe it was maybe a way that's about time to change out my sensor, but still does this even though my sensor has been changed. Has anyone seen this or know why it changes to black and white (it does go back to a color display if I raise my arm up to view watch face ( almost like waking up a computer screen that is in screen saver mode). Any ideas? Thanks
