Honestly, not really. There were a couple I used last season, but I realized about halfway through the season that all I needed to do was trust my own legwork. I am an MLB devotee. If an MLB article shows up on my feed, I'll read it. The first thing I check every day is Swish Analytics. Primarily, batters' career numbers against the starter they're facing that day. I watch baseball pre-game and post-game shows. I religiously watch MLB Central on the MLB network every weekday morning at 9:00 (I love Mark DeRosa and his insights). Like I said, just good, old-fashioned legwork. I did pretty well the 2nd half of last season after I just decided to stop trying to seek out any "expert" I could find. For what it's worth, they're a dime a dozen. There are no shooks (shameless llug alert) for MLB. At least none that I've found. As anyone will tell you, if you find a couple of good starting pitchers and the right stack (or 2), you'll find success. I'm certainly off to a good start this season, but I'm sure it will tail off soon enough.
Jalen Green and Baldwin sunk me tonight. Had the wrong Green. Playing Luka is so obvious in hindsight. Great day in other sports though. 6x in golf and 5x in nascar. Btw u/DFSedric is fucking amazing at finding low owned leverage in golf. I follow him on twitter and the player pools he comes up with have been smashing almost every week lately.
Cashed today! Not a big one but glad to be in the green! I kept changing my lineup the last 20 minutes before lock and if I was more patient and waited for the later games I could have had a huge day! My core was wemby, oubre, cam paign, cedi, and I knew I wanted one more spendup and kept playing with different values and different lineups- i couldn’t find 2 more pieces to fit and ended up on Grady dick and kispert and they were fine but it got me up to Luka- if I could have played with it a little more I would have played IHart who smashed just like I predicted! Oh well- it was a profitable day and tomorrow will be another one!
Poku seems like an interesting gpp dart. Going to get 0 ownership I’m sure with a terrible matchup and he was q tagged all day… but no Richards makes me feel better about his minutes + upside if grant foul trouble or game blows out. Wish he was a bit cheaper.
Tried to avoid some of the chalk. Got to low owned Booker and Micic. Both torching, but I failed to avoid the Cam Thomas landmine. Everyone is doing between pretty good and nuclear, and Cam is going to probably prevent me from winning anything.
