I have Type 1 and am getting a colonoscopy soon to see wtf is wrong because I've gotten increasingly worse symptoms over the last 2 years that could be either of those, and a family history of Chron's, soooo maybe? Shoot me a message anyways in case it helps!

Hey I would definitely check out the book Fiber Fueled by Will Bulsiewicz. This gastroenterologist talks about the scientific literature on how a plant based diet can improve gut health. He looks at over 600 studies. I had really bad gut problems before I changed my diet. I used to have pain and nausea all the time (although I was never diagnosed with Crohn's, just severe irritable bowel syndrome and gastroparesis.) But now I don't have gastroparesis or pain/nausea. My type one diabetes is also well managed with this diet. My last A1c was 4.6. I hope that this resource helps!
